It's official, I will be able to make it to Anime North again this year! It was so exciting but we hardly done anything because of my friends formal prom... Anyway Things are all gooood I'm not a newb anymore, so this year I'm gonna go crazy. X3
Is anyone else going to Anime North or a different convention?
I'm cosplaying as Lee... i guess... so maybe you'll see me!! ^_^;;
I will...um try to get people to notice me. =3

I'll be going to Anime North too!! ^o^ As mentioned in the other cosplay thread, I'll be cosplaying as Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Zidane from Final Fantasy IX. We can meet 'n stuffs. Yatta!
I'll also be going to CNA in August, but my costume for that one shall be a secret for a little while longer. wink

I wish I could go. crying I wanna cosplay as either Gai or Temari... (I actually don't really look anything like them, but I can't figure out who I DO look like.)
Unfortunately, I know nothing of locations or times of these conventions. And that sux. If someone could fill me in on these things, I'd be forever grateful

I certainly am going to Anime North.
I will be happy to see Lee there, of course, as well as a few other 'net people.
My sisters and I are going as Team Eight, I as Shino, Elanne as Kiba and Sierra as Hinata.
Hopefully it will turn out quite well. C :
We are also planning on attending CNAnime, and WatCon which is at the University of Waterloo on March 18th.
WatCon is a free convention so...score! It's only from 12 to 6, however.
We're hoping to have our Team Eight costumes done by that time.
In the future we want to finish our Team Gai group. (With Elanne as Neji)
And also complete our Team Baki group. (With Elanne as Gaara and Sierra as Temari.)
If there are more G.R.E.E.N. people coming to Anime North we should arrange a meeting, or something.

Actually, the Waterloo I'm talking about is in...Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Another Canadian convention, alas.

A bunch of news just came up all of a sudden... It is a very bad chance I will not be going to anime north. 3 reasons:
1. My parents are deciding to get a new house for us very soon.
2. My older sister is going to College, and my mom needs to save up to help out.
3. My little sister is going to highschool, she will need expensive school uniform because our school is so cheap stare +
My mom said we MIGHT go... but it looks very low... I'm sorry to everyone. I may attend, i may not. Sorry again... crying

To be honest, Anime North has been going downhill in the past few years (in my opinion), and the current guest list looks rather poor. It would be awesome if you do manage to make it, but I have a feeling that you might not be missing too much if you don't. sweatdrop

I went to the Sakura Con this Saturday. It was my first convention and I didn't have time to make a costume. crying I felt so lame not cosplaying! I took pictures of two guys who went as Lee! heart I'm going next year too! I got this awesome Lee keychain. And I also saw....
THE LAST NARUTO MANGA!!
Or I think it was the last. They were all so adult looking. Unfort. it was in Japanese so I have no idea what the were saying. crying
lol. There was this guy who went as Konahamaru and followed a lot of Naruto cosplayers around in a yellow square box. lol.
