I can be very protective and caring, guarding all of those who are dear to me, and even innocent strangers. I won't speak up until someone talks to me first, or unless I take intrest in them. But when something is just not right, I am not afraid to step up and explain my thoughts just how I thought them.
It is pretty hard to get me angry, because of my patient and kind mannor. Bt when you push my buttons, its over. My fury can sometimes be uncontrollable, unless if someone I love stops me. It seems every good thing has a bad side right? But as long as you stay on my happy side, I know you'll be fine. When it comes to boys, I don't care for them. I will definently have tons more guys as friends than as boyfriends. ⊰

Too bad regret won't satisfy clockwork enough to turn the clock counter clockwise. My name is Kerice, and this is my story."
I was born into the wealthier part of town, to a lovely set of parents. I have a younger brother and two older sisters, all of us with an extreme quantity of talent. My mother being a lawyer, made very good money. Dad was a cop, and a good one. With both their money combined I got to take dance classes with my sisters, and my brother got to learn how to play guitar. Not to mention we got to live in a big, roomy house. Never did we worry about food, clothes, and other necessities. In fact, all we had to do was prove our responsibility and ask for something we wanted, and it was given to us without any trouble.
Even if things at home were amazing, school was a different story. My siblings and I were always in different schools, which made our bonding a little difficult. Not only that, I was the only minority at all of the schools I went to. The other race criticized and ridiculed me once they set their eyes on me. I was the laughing stock, the outcast, the loner. None of them actually knew me, but they all despised of me. I did have two best friends though: Shelby and Marissa. You'll hear about them later though.
Anyways, the school I went to had a bunch of racist jokers as deans and councilers, who tried to find anything wrong with me. However, my determination and innocence blinded their feeble attempts at trying to get me out. Even so, when I made straight A's every year they didn't recongnize me, and when I won their spelling bee they called me a cheater to my face. But being a young child, I just thought that I probably did cheat, and that Sally would have a better chance of winning State. With this there came conflict between my parents and them, and my parents won. They would have to treat me like all of the other kids.
I was in seventh grade, and I had just reached home from Marissa's house. At home I didn't see my parents, but my siblings huddled together, weeping. That day I discovered that my parents had gotten into a car wreck, and died.
My eldest sister, who was in her freshman year of college, got a full time job to support us. My older sister also got a job, and I took care of my brother while they worked. We lost the house, and moved down to a miniscule apartment.
School wasn't getting any better either. Many girls began to torture me, and taunted me with their names. One day after school, a girl pushed me, and tried to start a fight. That was when I discovered my powers. Her body was under my control. I could've snapped her neck if I wanted to, but I stopoped myself. I came home without a scratch, and poured myself out unto my sisters. Immediately they applied me to go to this school, to get away from my life in the rich neighborhood.
So here I am, trying to find a new reputaion with new friends, a new lifestyle. Lord willing I will not be the only one with problems, or with dark skin. ⊰
