The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched I have heard some pagans say that they have their own magical quirks, and that It can be just about anything.
example: When you get angry enough to cry it rains. When you are near a bone fire the smoke seems to follow you around. You seem to know what people are going to say. You are very clumsy on the new moon.
I'm interested in hearing different peoples magical quirks, so what is yours?

I'm not sure I'd call those things "magical". I'd probably think they were coincidence, and then start making notes about what happened when so I could examine them and come to a conclusion regarding coincidence vs phenomenon.

Okay then, What personal coincidental or phenomenon events have you experienced in regards to this subject and the examples given for the sake of discussion?

Like San, I tend to think most of the time things are a coincidence. I'm more common sense than sixth sense. I sort of feel that people who thing certain things are attributable to them are guilty of 'magical thinking'. There's usually a pretty good reason for things to happen when they do - some people just like to skip the more mundane reasons and find magical ones. Sometimes odd uncanny things do happen - but not in a regular pattern, for me, and usually in response to a specific sort of trigger. I don't think I cause any 'quirk' to happen on a regular basis. I have friends and acquaintainces willing to attribute 'magical quirks' to me, than I would be myself...so maybe that's my quirk. I inspire irrational thought in others. xd

My magical quirk- "that look" that reminds my friends to stop and think about what they're doing before they do it.
After all- it works like a charm. wink

We have a gas-heated water system and whenever there is a North wind, the pilot-light is always blown out, however a couple of times when I couldn't wait for the wind to die down because I just had to have a shower, the wind stopped just as I turned on the water.

I am fairly certain these are coincidences but they are rather sweet romantic ones. I have three times been sick and found out later that day, having not talked to her yet, that my GF was sick too with similar symptoms. I am kinda 'empathic' so I can tell usually when something is up with someone. That kinda thing. Coincidences I am sure but they make for nice stories. XD

I'm going to be a cranky person for a moment and say that I really distrust people who have "magic quirks" as you've described them. Unless I know them personally (and no one I know well personally makes claims like that) then I don't believe that those things are true and I tend to consider that person self centered for presuming that the world rotates around them. Why would nature choose to reflect them and how did nature or natural forces become so in tune with a western perception of anger/sorrow?
Or if the other person is "making" it happen, then why are they so undisciplined? Why would they want that to happen? How did they develop that level of power and aren't they worried about the potential for chain reactions or some kind of blow back?
These examples would make good literature in a story if they weren't over used and cliche at this point, but in the real world it sounds silly, pointless, and if real worrisome. And that's my dose of cranky person for the time being.
