I don't think he's ever caught anything. Just confirms my belief that he is a terrible barn cat. rolleyes

Baby Pluto is adorable. I love solid black cats! >w< As as a grown up he does sort of have that "prim and proper" look to him. hahaha

Our first barn cat, Pumkin, was just as terrible. Wouldn't touch a mouse with a ten foot pole, much less catch one. Her son, Smokey (whom I still have) drags in mice, moles, shrews, squirrels... he dragged in a baby raccoon once! (he's a pretty big cat, we're thinking there's some Maine Coon in him somewhere)

A raccoon??? Good lordy. I have never heard of a cat doing that. Maybe Smokey does his job a bit too well. lol

I had a pair of sisters in my barn that used to bring me groundhogs/woodchucks ninja

Also Pluto is a very handsome kitty. No wonder he doesn't go after mice, he might ruffle his fur wink

Bobo, my barn cat is fairly decent at mousing. He doens't have claws, and he only has one eye. He catches a large amount despite his disabilities, though half the time he just plays with them and then lets them go. Our back yard is however littered with mouse bodies.

His mother brought up a full grown rabbit once. Left it's head on the porch, and then came back and ate the head the next day. rolleyes Silly cat.

I think we also had a baby squirrel dragged up before, and i had to remeove a skink from bobo's mouth. I hear that they are poisinous if eaten.
