If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice?
If one has to become a monster in order to stop a monster, is it worth it?
If you try to fail, and suceed, then which one have you done?
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
Why do we pursue knowledge, yet fear thought?
Exactly what word IS the bird?

Hmmm, okay, I'm gonna try to give my best answers here, lol. Here goes nothing:
1.While it is true that nobody's pefect, we as human beings can at least attempt to get as close as possible to what we perceive as being perfect and the only way to achieve that is to practice.
2.Although it is usually not good to fight fire with fire, sometimes, just sometimes it is the only method that ends up making a difference.
3.I don't really know why anyone would try to deliberately fail, but if you do and you succeed anyway, then you must be really good at whatever it is that you're doing. I'd chalk that up as a win, lol.
4.I think that in general, peoples daily lives are filled with things we don't really want to do. Work is one of the primary things most people don't like doing, but we have to regardless. I think that the activities that we actually would rather be doing gets drowned out by the routine of everyday life, I can't speak for everyone though.
5.I'm not exactly sure how I would live my life differently, I guess I'd probably take more chances, a few more gambles. Other than that, I would just try to live my life as happy as I possibly can, like I try to do everyday.
6.My guess is that being alive is just going about your days just skimming through life, not really doing anything that excites you. On the other hand, truly living to me would be to actually take that time and have fun, enjoy yourself, really LIVE your life. Again, I'm only speaking for myself because we're individuals, so "truly living" can mean something completely different to someone else.
7.To be honest, I don't really 100% like either of those, lol, but if I have to choose then I would choose worried genius.
8.I really don't have a great answer for this one, I'm just gonna say that not everyone feels or believes the same thing, but often think that what they believe is the right thing. So naturally, opposing beliefs and opinions create conflict.
9.I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that although the idea of less work sounds great, the idea of actually enjoying my work and really truly looking forward to doing it sounds alot better to me.
10.Again, lol, I don't have a great answer for this one. I'm just gonna say that although knowledge is a wonderful tool that we crave, the idea of questioning yourself and realizing that you just might be dead wrong isn't something that we like fathom.
11. The BIRD IS the word.....it just is...don't question it, lol.
And now I'm done, hope I helped. LOL biggrin

Shilberu Erikku If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice? Perfect practice makes perfect- otherwise you develop bad habits as part of your practice. Quote: If one has to become a monster in order to stop a monster, is it worth it? Sometimes- if it can end that cycle because not all monsters are the same. Quote: If you try to fail, and suceed, then which one have you done? Both- because it's 2 different standards of success. Quote: If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Because there's more to life than what we want- only petulant children think otherwise. Quote: If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I probably would have thought about having kids sooner- other than that, not much would change. Quote: What is the difference between being alive and truly living? How much you pat yourself on the back at night. Quote: Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Worried genius- but then, being a genius with the ability to think through my problems eases my worries. Quote: Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? They don't- that's something that people who don't understand world history claim. Wars are fought over resources, not over ideas. Quote: Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? Less work. Quote: Why do we pursue knowledge, yet fear thought? Anti-intellectualism is a tool used to create social support along a line of bias. Most of these weren't that deep- they're stuff covered in a good high school education.

If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice? Hmm, better to try to improve than be stagnant.
If one has to become a monster in order to stop a monster, is it worth it? Depends if you can change back after defeating the monster.
If you try to fail, and succeed, then which one have you done? Failed.
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Stupidity.
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? Stop procrastinating.
What is the difference between being alive and truly living? Anyone can be alive, it takes courage to chase after life and truly live.
Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Worried genius
Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? Cause we are just fallible humans.
Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More work I enjoy.
Why do we pursue knowledge, yet fear thought? Instinct, knowledge is power yet we are taught to think like everyone else.
Exactly what word IS the bird? ????

Shilberu Erikku If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice? I think practicing is more to strive more for prestige and the upper hand rather than perfection. Shilberu Erikku If one has to become a monster in order to stop a monster, is it worth it? We are all monsters/demons in our own way, it's how much of the demon we show that becomes the issue. I don't think we really need to be monsters to defeat monsters, so no, it's not worth it. Shilberu Erikku If you try to fail, and succeed, then which one have you done? You have succeeded in failing. Failing was your goal and have accomplished it. If your goal was to succeed in something else, failing would describe not accomplishing it. Shilberu Erikku If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? It's our nature to survive for as long as we can, so these things we try to do that we don't want to do is trying to prolong the short life we have. Seems futile, but it's what makes humans fantastic (Dr. Who ftw), surviving until we die. xD Shilberu Erikku If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? Well, if anything, I think schooling would be way shorter, I'd be working by now, and have not been a virgin up to this point. xD Shilberu Erikku What is the difference between being alive and truly living? Truly living is not wasting a single second and really using it to its potential, while being alive is just being there, the act of existing. Shilberu Erikku Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? This one is a tough one....if you're the worried genius, you can die from stress and overworking...and joyful simpleton, you can die from practically anything. I guess it depends on the extremity of each.... Shilberu Erikku Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? Because the people that support it are viewing the religion wrong, as something that people ALL have to have, and are willing to stake their lives for it. Shilberu Erikku Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More work I actually enjoy doing, because then I would be productive and be working. Shilberu Erikku Why do we pursue knowledge, yet fear thought? We pursue knowledge because our psych tells us to find ways to figure out everything about ourselves and our natural environment. Just plain and simple curiosity. We do not fear thought, we fear certain thoughts. At least, this is the case for some of us. They do not fear every thought, they just fear the thoughts that will bring them no peace or joy in their lives. Shilberu Erikku Exactly what word IS the bird? It is the word, because it rhymes. Do not question the bird....it'll probably lead you through several pages of wikipedia. xD These thoughts are my own opinions, so if you have a problem with them, you can be angry, but please don't assert that I am wrong and you are right. I respect your opinions, and you can respect mine. Thanks for the post, these questions gave me things to think about as I type this at work. xD

Exactly what word IS the bird? 1. perfecting one thing would not make one perfect 2. yeah, after all i would be a monster biggrin 3. well if you try to fail at a specific thing rather than generally then it makes sense since you still accomplished your goal of failing at the particular thing you were doing and accomplished your goal of doing that. 4. because people are stupid 5. idk, i dont think i would act differently at all although my parents would probably be dead razz 6. doing things that you personally want to do rather that what other people want 7. idk. i already don't worry about anything xD 8. because at least half of the people in those religions cant even figure out that their religion is based on love 9. work i enjoy doing 10. refer to my answer for 4. stupid too because knowledge requires thought... 11. bird |bərd| noun 1 a warm-blooded egg-laying vertebrate distinguished by the possession of feathers, wings, and a beak and (typically) by being able to fly. • Class Aves; birds probably evolved in the Jurassic period from small dinosaurs that may already have been warm-blooded. • an animal of this type that is hunted for sport or used for food : carve the bird at the dinner table. • a clay pigeon. • informal an aircraft, spacecraft, satellite, or guided missile : the crews worked frantically to ready their birds for flight. 2 [usu. with adj. ] informal a person of a specified kind or character : I'm a pretty tough old bird. • Brit., informal a young woman; a girlfriend. ^ that

Uhm... #1 to get better #2 no #3 succeeded #4 because we think we cannot achieve the achievable? #5 i wouldn't, it'd be the same #6 truly living is living your life to the furthest extent, being alive is just breathing. #7 a joyful simpleton #8 because they think to support what they love they have to enforce it upon others. #9 more that i enjoy #10 to try to understand the universe? #11 the word "bird" is a combination of letters in the american english language that form to been the flying animal with feathers

1. If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice? If you don't want to get better than don't practice. I mean basically you have to keep practicing in order to work toward perfect but really all you do is practice and get better and better but never quite reach perfection. But if we reached perfection than we'd be bored probably...so if you want to practice than do so.
2. If one has to become a monster in order to stop a monster, is it worth it? Sure if you are the lesser of two evils and it is really needed to (and only way) stop the monster.
3. If you try to fail, and succeed, then which one have you done? Well if you are saying that I succeeded at failing than I would have failed at what I was trying to fail at but succeeded as well. Technically I would have failed at one task and succeeded at the other goal I set (which is the goal of failing).
4. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Everyone has their reasons but I suppose it is probably because it's easier to do those things and we are made to think things should be done a certain way (and can't be done a different way) that might go against what we really want to do. Not to mention the whole "the grass is greener on the other side" thing.
5. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I wouldn't...I'd do whatever I felt like (like I do now) and not worry about what society thinks. Of course I might have decided to do different things in general...that didn't take so long or something.
6. What is the difference between being alive and truly living? Anyone that is just being alive is merely going through the motions to exist without being true to their self and making their life truly great.
7. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Joyful simpleton...because it's more fun and you can learn not be as much of a fool. You can't control how much you worry...it's an emotional thing after all.
8. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? Because many people use their "awesomely correct" religion and use it how they see fit. People always interpret things differently and that is the same with religion. What's important to one is not to another. How one perceives love is different than the next person. That is the same for how people view what is right and just. But it seems that with religion that many seem to be stuck to the rules the set for themselves, based on their interpretation of their religion, as if they'd die a horrible death if they did anything else. What many don't realize is that views change as does the world...so to be so attached to one way of thinking causes problems.
9. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More. I like doing because then it won't really be work...plus it's a vague question anyway. I mean more could mean just ten minutes extra sooo yea.
10. Why do we pursue knowledge, yet fear thought? People fear thought? That's news to me...but we pursue knowledge because we are curious creatures that want the ability to do and know more. I guess I would say we don't fear thought but action...like acting on thoughts that seem abnormal.
11. Exactly what word IS the bird? It is whatever you think it is...

If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice? Wrong, perfect practice makes perfect. People can be perfect some of the time, by practicing perfectly. /marching band pep talk
If one has to become a monster in order to stop a monster, is it worth it? Yes, if you are willing to lose it all. If aren't willing to lose it all, no.
If you try to fail, and suceed, then which one have you done? Acted foolishly.
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Because we conform too much, and don't indulge in our dreams enough.
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? Eat more cake.
What is the difference between being alive and truly living? Experiences.
Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Joyful simpleton
Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? It is not the religions but the people who take them too far who create those wars.
Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More work I enjoy doing.
Why do we pursue knowledge, yet fear thought? I don't fear thought, who the hell fears that?
