Gabriella called on some of her energy, and channeled it through her hands, creating a dark sphere of highly concentrated energy. As she called it into being, the light in the room dimmed and all sound seemed to stop. All that you could hear was your own heartbeat. Gabriella stood up and snuffed the dark-light out. "Got a little carried away there." she simply said, and opened the blinds all the way to let more light into the room. She might not need it, but it would help the humans feel more secure.

"Ok." Gabriella concentrated, and diluted her power before she let it gather her around her in a perfect little egg-oval thing. It was perfect, and Gabriella grinned, loving the feeling of using her power. Letting the sphere die, she settled back down in her chair. This isn't hard at all. The common knowledge was mistaken, as usual.

"Hmmm? New teacher?"
Ivy stood at the door, leaning against the frame. She read the class sign plaque outloud "Class of Aura, aye.....Interesting."
She slowly walked into the room and look around whilst thinking to herself I think his classroom is bigger than mine...
She looked towards the teacher and managed a slight smile. "It's nice to meet you. Im Ivy, Im the School Nurse, Art teacher and Second year student. I've made a habit of going round and greeting all new staff to make sure they're settling in." And to see if anything could be off use.
Ivy looked around the current students, seeing if she recognised anyone. She knew no one personally, but she did recognise some from reading there application forms.
