Need help changing security settings

I have WPA security which is incompatible with the DSi for wi-fi playing purposes, most importantly battling online with my pokemon. I need to change it to WEP, but have no idea how to go about doing so. Can anyone help me out?

It tells me the same things everyone does, but whenever I type in http://192.168.1.1/ it always times out or fails to connect.

You might have to go through a different portal. Try looking for a different one. When I clicked it took me right to my router settings.
