Rachel Young, a 17 year old teenager who was living a perfect life until one day her and her family got into a car accident. Everyone died, but Rachel was unable to leave the earth. Instead she is stuck here on the earth watching all of her friends enjoying their time, well her fellow students. She never had friends at the school, she was always so concentrated on her school work and getting into a good college. So when she died no one really knew her so no one really morned her death.
A boy the same age as her goes to the same high school Rachel did, only he was not doing well in his classes. His mother had died of cancer 2 years ago and his father resulted to drinking and also abusing him. His life is literally hell and he feels there is nothing here on the earth for him. He constantly has suicidal thoughts. Suddenly he starts seeing this girl around school, a stranger and no one else seems to notice her. Something about her seems familiar and he becomes determind to figure out who she is.
Not only that, but the world is becoming infested with demons searching for Rachel because she has a special ability. Turns out the boy too has something special about him and now satin wants them both. Will gardian angels be able to ward off the demons and keep both Rachel and the boy safe from the evil corruption around them. Will this boy get the guts to confront Rachel and figure out who she is, and will Rachel be able to pull this boy out of his dark cloud and save him from his misery?
