She is often called Kuromi (black beauty) because of her tendancies to move silently through shadows. She tends to have an air of mystery about her as well. She can be sarcastic when offended or ticked off, but has an overally even temper. She is normally very serious, but she keeps a different side especially for close friends (Which are very few) in which she is kind, and a bit more laid back. She is withdrawn from people, and is always careful about who her friends are (Since she is an outcast and being close to people puts her in danger). She likes to look up at the stars or stay underwater for long periods of time just to sit there and think. Appearance:
Bio: When Kiyomi's parents found out that they were going to have a child, they panicked, to say the least. They agreed that Kiyomi's mother would go back to Water country imediately. The second the baby was born, she would kill it. Kiyomi's mother had a good friend who graciously agreed that he would pretend to be the baby's father to cover up her pregnancy. When Kiyomi was born, she was born with her eyes open. Kiyomi's mother saw her eyes, the exact eyes that had made her fall in love with her father, her heart broke and she could not bring herself to kill her baby. Kiyomi's stepfather was completely against keeping the baby, but Kiyomi's mother begged him. They both knew that this was the most dangerous decision they could ever make. They tried desperately to cover up Kiyomi's heritage. It was not easy since Kiyomi looked very much like her birth father and bore no resemblance to her stepfather. She also had a temper like her father had. They managed to escape suspicion by keeping Kiyomi inside the house. It generated many rumors around the town, but it kept her safe. Most people thought that she was not a child at all, but rather a house spirit. There were many incidents when the towns children snuck up to the gate to see the little girl clad all in white, peering out at them from around the corner of the house with her unatural blue eyes. She was called Sukoshi Gosuto (Little Ghost). Despite the rumors, her true idenity was hidden... for awhile
One day when Kiyomi was nine years old, she was home alone while her parents were out on errands. She heard a screams and choas from the direction of town, and saw the smoke from several explosions. Her mother jumped the fence, bleeding and badly injured. She grabbed Kiyomi and told her desperately that she had to run. She gave Kiyomi the locket that she always wore under her clothes and a slip of paper with a name on it. She explained in a very quick and straight-forward manner that Kiyomi's stepfather was not her real father and that she was an outcast. She told Kiyomi that she must run and hide as far from here as possible. Noone should recognise her very far from their town, but she must get as far away as possible, and tell no'one about who she was or where she came from. If Kiyomi developed any power other than water, that she must never use it. She must hide and that when she was older, she must find her birth father in the Wind country.
Kiyomi ran for days. When she could run no more and cry no more, she settled in a different town within the water country. It was there that she came to a decision. She would find her birth father and kill him for not protecting her or her mother. Then she would find Recluse
