This will constitute as srs bsns political forum roleplay.
1. We need to elect a new Speaker of the House.
2. Throne Speech, ********. Overseen by His Excellency Charon.
3. Budget, proposed by the minister of Finance of governing party.
4. Question Period
5. Official Opposition Proposes a bill. Debates. Amendments. Debates. Vote.
6. Governing party proposes a bill. Debates. Amendments. Debates. Vote.
7. 3rd Place Party proposes a bill. Debates. Amendments. Debates. Vote.
8. 4th Place party proposes a bill. Debates. Amendments. Debates. Vote.
9. Question Period.
10. Elections. Winner chooses new ministry. Allocate seats.
11. Rinse and Repeat.
But before all that, lets split ourselves into parties. As many parties as you want, however if we have too many for any single party to constitute a majority or a minority government, you'll need to figure out alliances, coalitions, and all that jazz with other parties.
As to how many seats we have, don't worry. Let's just split ourselves into parties first.
For the moment in time, I shall still be Prime Minister, but it will be a Minority Government to spice things up, until we settle all of this, go through this runthrough, and until the next election.
Anywho, make a separate thread for each of your parties.

Don't know if this is off topic or not but role playing or not would it not be fun to have the treasurer develop a system of gathering funds from EDP regulars to use as a means for providing a form of lottery on predictions for outcomes, specially in the actual government elections?

Mimetic Hybrid Don't know if this is off topic or not but role playing or not would it not be fun to have the treasurer develop a system of gathering funds from EDP regulars to use as a means for providing a form of lottery on predictions for outcomes, specially in the actual government elections? Would be a tad hard, due to polls being able to be seen by anyone.

Polls wouldn't work since you can't really see who voted for what. We would need a ballot (Thread) with people casting their votes (posts) so it can be recorded.
