Pearl Jam is alright. I just have a hard time getting into a lot of their stuff.

Well I could give you the longest lecture in the world but I'll keep it short. (kinda) Well he was a Kid when his parents were geting divorced with what he thinks is his father but his real father was dieing.(listen to Alive) They kept it a secret from him for a while. He was always in deep depression but it made it worse. So alot of songs are about that and the world.

And? I know that. I just think a lot of their stuff is kind of "bland" in a way.

stressed what? bland hve you ever seen a video of them live. Even Flow is bland. Wow what do you listen to that's so not bland.(i mean it not in a bad way just wonderin) Honestly the top three best performers in my book have to be Smashing Pumpkins,Pearl Jam,and Trent Reznor.

I'm not talking about performances, just some of their songs. They don't hit me as much as other stuff. I listen to a lot of grunge bands like Screaming Trees, Skin Yard, Blood Circus, Mudhoney, Love Battery, Alice in Chains. Some older punk and metal as well.
Anyway, I'm not saying that Pearl Jam is bad in any way. I'm just saying that personally, they don't appeal to me very much.
