What I did on Summer Vacation - The Raffle It's time for a little bit of tag team action with LizzyMoo and Carneli! Six lucky winners will walk away with FREE civvies for the summer time. Interested? Where as we encourage creativity with the proposed outfits, we'd also like to remind you that these outfits need to be something the character would be wearing during summer.

What I did on Summer Vacation... Username: Puhterodactyl Character's name: Griffin Westwood Character references: Student SenshiSummer outfit: Same hairstyle, except substitute her current headband for the one pictured. (you don't have to follow these to a T, but the closer the better. c: ) Outfit (it's all the same stuff as before but in one link now) What I did on Summer Vacation: Well I've been working here and there, babysitting, dog sitting, and then a stint at a summer camp called Camp Larkspur as a Junior Counselor. I spent my time at camp and afterwards doing stuff I've been planning to do all year. I've gone camping a few times (I could fit a few more trips in this summer!), hiking, mountain climbing, cycling, kayaking, fishing a lot, swimming, horse back riding... am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah! Jogging, running, spear fishing, snorkeling... Oh, stuff besides my adventure? I've painted pictures of me having adventure and photos I took during... Ah... Uhm, I've been shopping a lot, and I've been to a few parties. Kicking youma butt, getting my butt kicked... Just your run of the mill stuff, right?

Username: Melodine Cantus Character's name: Eve Summers Character references: Eve Summers / Super Sailor FloraSummer outfit: Polyvore outfit!+ I'd like the sunglasses atop her head, and since her hair has grown out a bit, I'd like to see it in a ponytail? c: still blond & curly, of course! What I did on Summer Vacation: Firstly, I was a counselor at summer camp! I need to relax and have some fun, after all! I lifeguarded there, managed to drag a few friends along, so things were great! Then after that, it's shopping! Hitting the shops for summer sales, going to the beach and chilling, dragging friends out to have fun! I've been cycling too! It's nice to ride up to the beach and watch the sun set. Ah, summer~ <3

I'll leave the design of those up to you. What I did on Summer Vacation: I was taken to Disney against my will. Well, sorta. Cordelia decided she wanted to go and invited Demetri and Rikard along and i got told i was going because i'm the responsible one. So i think I was technally shapperoning the entire thing? It was odd. Oh, and this guy named Lysander showed up, he knows Rikard and Demetri apparently, and was very cross that he wasn't invited originally and sorta invited himself. He seems like a very friendly guy. Anyway. Disney, yes. I took lots of pictures and we ate a lot of oddly shaped things, oh and some very good cupcakes (though Demetri whined about not getting one because it was a 'dirt' cupcake and he iddnt' believe it wasn't real dirt.) and everyone went on rides. Cordy got me the ears ... though i like the ones i bought myself better, they light up.

Username: LP Character's name: Istas Lulu Holywell Character references: School Uniform Super Senshi Summer outfit: Hairstyle: Either her normal pigtails or let it fall down and perhaps have either this or this as her hair clips. Outfit: Camp shirt in white with this skirt black with color matching plaid ‘insert’ (color matches the camp logo on her shirt) these in black (perhaps with matching plaid ‘insert’?) What I did on Summer Vacation: On my summer vacation I went to camp, and got to play with my friends and make new ones! I had lots of fun! Well... until dumb Billy the 3rd grade bully showed up and then again with that other incident.... but it was still fun! Lots of fun and ohh ********* was there, she eats... a lot, I wasn't expecting her to eat that much!

What I did on Summer Vacation: Oh what didn't I do? Like the little social butterfly I am, my datebook was quite overflowing with social engagements. I visited the beach, went for long walks in the woods, and - hm? Summer camp? No I'm quite sure I never went to a place like that, why on earth would I? Surely you don't picture me running around herding noisy sticky children like some nanny? No, I'm certain that if I went to an awful place like that, I'd remember. I mean, that would be strange if I didn't, now wouldn't it be? Besides, it just so happens that at that exact time I went away to a poetry retreat in the woods. The atmosphere was simply divine and the weather was gorgeous. Well yes it was on the same lake as that camp, but I can assure you I went nowhere near that ghastly place.

Douchebag polo Jeans ShoosWhat I did on Summer Vacation: Sightseeing around the city, mostly. What with the coma last summer in the museum district and a heavy course load during the semester, I didn't get a chance to really explore any museums. The Museum of Fine Arts was the most exciting part--they have an entire room dedicated to antique pianos, did you know? And their displays of calligraphy from medieval times were fascinating. I would have invited Vera along, but she's a bit tough to get hold of.

What I did on Summer Vacation... Username: Sunshine Alouette Character's name: Paris LeFay Character references: Civilian/School Kid & PoweredSummer outfit: Ref – Sailing Outfit A burgundy sundress with little tie straps and a ruffle along the chest. The ruffle and the skirt of the dress are decorated with teeny, tiny black pinstripes. On his feet he’d have simple black flip-flops, and on one wrist, a bunch of bracelets in black, white, and silver, tied together by a small black bow. He has a wide-brimmed sun hat, too, in white with a big flower pinned to the side, and a black line going around the edge of the brim. He doesn’t need to be wearing the hat. I’d rather he be holding it, or do without it. His hair is a bit longer than it is in the official art above, being that it’s been six or seven months since I got him and it’s likely to have grown out about two inches, so reaching his shoulders now, but for a day of sailing he’d pull it back into a braided style similar to what is seen in the ref, perhaps with the shorter portions of his bangs stubbornly slipping free. The bag in the ref is not necessary. What I did on Summer Vacation: Well, I started dating someone. If you can call it dating. We go out to fancy restaurants for dinner and he takes me places, but we’re not officially an item so I’m not sure if it’s considered dating or not. We did a lot of things together this summer, though. In June, he took me sailing on his parents’ boat! I had no idea he had a boat, but that definitely earns him points in my book! And then we went to summer camp together, which was actually a lot of fun, even if there were a few awkward moments and some other girl he kept acting weird around, and, you know, there were some other things that happened, but all in all it was better than I expected it would be. For the rest of the summer it was back to dating. I mentioned those fancy dinners, didn’t I? I should probably also mention he thinks I'm a girl. >>;;; Really, I just spend time with him, talking and stuff, and he spends money on me. It’s kind of amazing.

What I did on Summer Vacation... Username: Guine Character's name: Peter Gallo Character references: StudentSummer outfit: The messy devil-may-care/ragamuffin hair, dimples, and missing tooth would be the same. A graphic tee under an open, button up, plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow and not tucked in. Khaki shorts (but the belt would be covered by the untucked shirts), and shoes that he doesn't have to tie, because he doesn't have time to retie them every time, and ankle socks, of course. What I did on Summer Vacation: What could have happened: Could have gone sailing in the Mediterranean with mom and dad and had an awesome time exploring ancient ruins and learning valuable life lessons about being a man and maybe even save the world. What did happen: Stopped a horde of aliens from attacking the Earth with their super mind control. It was easy once I discovered they were actually allergic to water. Who knew? So I sprayed them with the hose and they all died and the ones still left on the ship I sent a peace treaty for them to sign and they promised to never attack the Earth again and to forever protect it. My name will live on in their history for eternity. I guess I saved the world, after all. What really happened: Before my parents abandoned me at that horrible camp, we went to see the space exhibit at the museum downtown. They have this chart they put on the side of stuff they shoot into space so that aliens that find it can see how big we are in comparison to whatever the object was. And they also have something written in what's supposed to be an easily translatable "We come in peace" thing... I think it's stupid, because if aliens wanted to take over the Earth, they would see how big we are, the general extent of our technology, and then use that against us. I also helped mom out in the garden by watering and weeding it. There was a rabbit eating some of the vegetables, but we put up a fence to keep it out. And then Dad had to go to the Capital for a meeting with the President or something, and Mom and I went to see the monuments and the really old documents in the National Archives... like the Declaration of Independence and the Magna Carta. It was pretty cool, I guess. Not as awesome as going to Italy would have been.

What I did on Summer Vacation: Augh, my summer started off horribly with that stupid summer camp. Still, pretty ... magical things happened. Too bad about the kids though. Let's see ... Then I spent a week (two weeks? I don't even remember!) at the california beach. It was nice, but super windy. My tangled hair disliked it. After that I sort of bummed around for a bit before hitting the gym again, to train for tennis season! I met a few new people, like Castille and Ainsley. Stupid Griffin bummed around me a ton. Maybe I was bumming around her? Overall, not shabby, but it could use a trip to Europe dad! (yeah, like that's going to happen).

What I did on Summer Vacation: As much as I had hoped to avoid the human population as much as possible, given I had reason with no school - there was work, but thats work, whatever. It couldn't be all together helped come the end of July when my sister is dragging me down to San Diego. Yup, totally haven't been wanting to go to Comic Con since forever. Nope, not at all. Ahahaha, I'm going to Comic Con!Since I haven't … really gone, I imagine I'll be getting a s**t load of swag - like a bag I can live in - see the backsides of celebrities, stand in five hour lines to see a half hour panel with exclusive footage and amusing commentary by cast and creators. And just get lost in a sea of people. Oh yeah, Slave Leia … there are always tons of those. Awesome. When I'm done and stopped gushing over the event, I'll return to sitting on my a** and avoiding everyone. I think a few new video games are coming out.

What I did on Summer Vacation...Username: Sylent Nyte Character's name: Addison Reed Character references: Civ & PoweredSummer outfit: This outfit, hair styled the same as her civ form, with the star hairclips~ For the outfit, I'd like her shoes to have neon green or blue laces (or both!). Her bracelets are just jelly bracelets of various colors, you can pretty much add any sort of random bracelets to her arms though! And the neon green fishnety glove thinger is just on one hand. Really I'd just like the torn denim skirt, black tank top, high tops and random bright jewelry. XD None of it has to be exact at all! What I did on Summer Vacation: I did a whooooooole lotta nothing~! 8D I'm out of that awful Seminary for the summer so I spent most of my time lounging outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. Played a lot of hackey-sack and guitar, went to bonfires and BBQs. Typical summer stuff! If only summer could last a bajillion times longer. Ugh, not looking forward to going back to school.. Especially since I was held back a year. Whatever.

What I did on Summer Vacation...Username: zippedsiren Character's name: Morgan Everett Character references: X Summer outfit: Polyvore outfit: Either X or X, whichever you prefer! (yellow shirt can really be whatever color you want) , very very minor style change (basically straightened out X X). What I did on Summer Vacation: Hmmpff, if you even call it a Summer. I took a couple summer classes at Shlip to 'round out' my education there. Nothing really exciting although I'm trying to brush up on my French, so I can say sexy things to sexy boys have an applicable life skill. When I wasn't in class, I spent my days getting some sun, lazing by the pool and night out dancing at the clubs. You don't know want to know how things went after than. wink I also got a role in a murder mystery game! It was my first time acting, but I think I'm a natural. I got to play the very sexy and beautiful Lover of the Scientist (aka adorable geeky Iouri). I don't really want to talk about how that went... Met some cool people, but... well... let's just not get into it.
