Embedded Tower DESCRIPTION -
Long before the region was populated with the Gym Leaders and Brains we know today, people from the southern region of Hoenn erected the Embedded Tower in what would become known as Route 47, here in Johto. Due to its enormous size, this Tower was said to have both reached the sky, and delved deep into the sea...which would probably explain how it was - in legends, anyway - tied to the Weather Trio of Hoenn: Groudon(behemoth of land), Kyogre(leviathan of sea), and Rayquaza(serpent/ziz of sky). Years had worn on it, however; as a result, the Embedded Tower is now a vague shadow of its former glory. Occasionally, the wandering Trainer will find their way into the Tower's deepest depths. They'd better have their wits about them, though... LOCATION -
The Embedded Tower is located on Route 47, in western Johto.PEOPLE -
Save for the occasional Trainer - or perhaps a standing Gym Leader/Elite Four/Frontier Brain -, there is little-to-no evidence of humans here.RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Unless you're here to do research or train, there's nothing really notable about the Embedded Tower. However, rumor has it that the Orbs that grant a person the ability to 'command' any one member of the Weather Trio are said to have been found here...MYTH/LORE -
According to legend, Hoenn's Weather Trio - Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza - are said to slumber here. They're only to awaken in the presence of someone with either a 'heart of Gold' or a 'shining Silver spirit'...

 ovO Samuel Mirrera Ovo -pokemon field researcher-(( coming from: Goldenrod City. I know I didn't have an exit post for him, so I'll just say that he left in the 'organized chaos' that happened after the water race. )) 'ZelFloatzel.'
"Oh, I'll probably talk to 'im later." Clicking his flashlight on - after pulling it from Jester's clawed hands, in another small game of tug-of-war -, Samuel shone the light onto a nearby wall. "Now let's find out why Oak's so int'rested in this Tower, shall we?"
The shiny Sea Weasel Pokemon nodded, hopping out of the man's messenger bag. 'Floatzel.' With that, he began to actively scamper around the immediate area, looking for anything of interest that would pertain to his master's research.
A few minutes of silence passed between the two before Jester piped up again. 'ZelZel?'
"I told you, Jester." Samuel was jotting down a few notes in a notebook that he had pulled from his bag. "We're keepin' that little event a secret; I promised Calvin I would." 'Keepin' that little event a secret' meant that neither Samuel nor Jester could tell either of Allison's 'self-appointed brothers' - or their pokemon(in Jester's case) -, lest they incur the Castle Duke's wrath.
"And besides." He paused for a moment in his note-writing, to let out a chuckle. "It wouldn't be anywhere near as fun as I think it'll be if she knows, right?"
Jester had to admit; his bespectacled master did have his quirks, but he couldn't really argue with his logic. 'Floatzel.' A brief nod, and the two fell silent once more, concentrating on their research...

ovO Samuel Mirrera Ovo -pokemon field researcher- "Well, then." Frowning slightly, Samuel ran a hand through his jagged mess of raven-colored hair. "As much as I'd hate to admit it, Jester, this ancient text is a bit beyond my level of expertise." The flashlight he held in his hand was still shining on the wall in front of him, showing a series of symbols that the bespectacled man knew was a language of some sort, yet he couldn't decipher it.
Perhaps more research was in order?
As his master was muttering something about not being able to translate something - at least that's what it sounded like to him, anyway -, Jester was curiously batting a curious yellow stone tablet. 'Flo~oatzel.' Every time his clawed hand made contact with the tablet, he would receive a small shock. 'Zel?' He blinked in confusion; what kind of tablet would do something like this?
Ignoring the small shocks that he was getting as he grabbed the tablet in his mouth, Jester scampered over to where Samuel was standing, pulling on the leg of his slacks. 'ZelZel-Floatzel.' He offered the yellow tablet up to his master, after pulling it from where it was clasped in his mouth.
"Hm?" Blinking, Samuel looked down at his Sea Weasel Pokemon. "What's that you've got there...?" Kneeling down to the Floatzel's level, another small game of tug-of-war ensued between the two, before Samuel finally had the tablet lying flat against his palm.
"Int'resting..." Pulling a magnifying glass from the messenger bag that was slung over his shoulder, Samuel took a closer look at the yellow tablet. Despite being in the Embedded Tower for what could've been years now - this was an educated guess on Samuel's part -, the tablet had a smooth, un-blemished surface. The light that seemed to be coming from above the Tower was reflecting brightly off of it, miniature sparks of electricity seeming to dance about on it.
"...Jester."
'Zel?' Again, the Floatzel blinked curiously.
"I think you've found a Zap Plate, here." The bespectacled man put both the magnifying glass and the flashlight back into his messenger bag(after making sure that the latter was turned off). "According to legend, the Plates have the ability to power up any move that reflects the type that the Plate in question does." He began to head out of the Embedded Tower, the shiny Floatzel scampering along behind him. "I have a pretty good idea who t'give this to, and I think I know where she is..."
