Polar Bears, unlike most of their cousins, are Carnivorous, or only eat meat. Male Polar Bears usually measure to about 7.9 ft to 8.9 ft and usually weigh from about 770 lbs to 1,500 lbs. Roughly half the size of the males, most female polar bears are known to measure from 5.9 ft to 7.9 ft and weigh roughly from 330 lbs to about 550 lbs, that is while they are not pregnant. While pregnant, a female polar bear can weigh as much as 1,100 lbs, almost as much as a male. Polar bears are listed as vulnerable on the Endangered Species List.
