Anybody been keeping track on Adele lately? She's been dominating charts all over. Her "Rolling in the Deep" single has been on iTunes #1 for like 27,000 years and her album "21" has been out basically naming Adele Queen of Billboard.
It's been out much longer than Born This Way and has better sales ratings. #1 for its 10th week?
Every time Gaga's come out with a single, it would be higher than Rolling in the Deep for a day or two, then kicked off again. Whatcha guys think? Deserved or overrated? Just a little food for discussion.

She has well more than earned it. The song and album outlasted Gaga on the charts for various reasons. Adele wrote a wonderful, heart-felt piece and while I'm not saying Gaga didn't put her entire heart and soul into the record, it just feels like she only did for some parts. "Edge of Glory" is a prime example of when Gaga puts her entire being into a song, and for that reason it is spectacular. "Born This Way" is simply another electronic dance hit, its sole purpose being to climb the charts and be played at gay bars years from now.
Adele wrote 21 out of heartache over a relationship that ended. Every human being has gone through some sort of grief in their life, and in addition to that she is a magnificent singer and songwriter. Gaga is also talented, however her venue seems to be more focused on pop (which of course, is generally the preferred choice of idiots). If she stuck back to more of her Stefani Germanotta stuff she would hopefully get much more critical success as well as topping charts, but we don't see that anytime soon.
Point is, Adele wrote a great record. You do the work and you get rewarded for it, and it seems Adele worked a bit more at it than Gaga did...well, either more or in a better vein, I guess.

I love Adele, she's so talented and I'm so happy to hear her on the radio since her music isn't some stupid "I'm gonna party, yo. Get on the floor, dawg" kind of song. "Rolling in the Deep" deserves it's #1 place for as long as it would like to stay there.

Dion't get me wrong, I love the music from BTW, and GaGa is an amazing artist, but honestly, I thing Adele has earned it. I love her music, I love her voice, and respect her for writing her own content like GaGa and Ke$ha and Rachel Thom.

Her voice is unique. I think that's why she's making it up there so high. I couldn't believe the singer is like some 22-year-old white girl. o_O

It's interesting to see that Adele has become so successful. I was listening to her when her first album had just come out. No one really knew who she was then. I think one of her songs made it to the radio, "Chasing Pavements," but that was it. I really appreciated her when she first came out (and I still do). She has an incredible voice and she is not afraid to be a size 16 (which is what I am). I love seeing such a real and down-to-earth person become so successful. And I still can't believe she is my age...makes me feel so unaccomplished. Anyway, I'm glad she is successful and I think the reason she is is because people might be getting a little tired of the same old pop/rap/hip-hip that is always dominating the radios and that generally sucks major a** (not all, but most).

Yup, pretty much. -- Also, Adele is now a 'new' mainstream artist, and of course there is the over exposure. Due to this over exposure it's like OMG ADELE WHOA OMG LOOK AT HER ZOMGSKLJF SLKDFJ SLK F. The pap is on her butt like white on rice. I believe Adele deserves it. It's not like Kesha topped Gaga or anything...if that happened...I'd have a serious problem. Adele is talented, I love the artistic music video (not flashy, but dark...) and she seems down to earth. But by all means, Gaga is number one on my hit list. <3
