Mushrooms grow to epic sizes here some standing taller than redwood trees. The dwarfs here have undergone the next cycle of dwarf life beyond the Midterra stage and have become far tougher and hardier, their bodies becoming heavily mineralized. The dwarfs here are all also older more educated in the deep lore of their kind and therefore are all far greater warriors, craftsman, and leaders than those above. The architecture is of the honeycomb style made entirely of dwarf stone here and worked in highly dense clusters to maximize living space. Light in homes is produced by molten rock light that has been solidified but left hot and molten bright through rune work. The roads are high grade basalt rock lined and cemented in with dwarfstone mortar. The roads are thin but well supported so than they flow like ribbons through differing levels of the Subterra. As always the steam shoots provide rapid transport for those who don’t have the leisure of walking. The craftsmanship and skill difference not only in construction but artistic architectural detail as opposed to the level above is absolutely mind blowing. Lining every space with precious stones or gems arranged like tapestry in pleasing geometric patterning. Everything in some way is rune carved and enhanced sparkling gleaming and glittering like the cosmos itself. The stones hum inside your skull and heart with rune power.
