Username: alittleferocious Name: Aislin Montague (phonetically: Ash-lin Mon-tag-yoo) Bio: I believe in the importance of balance and discipline. I am caring and kind and gentle, and I understand how important savoring a moment can be. I also understand boundaries, and when it is necessary to bring forward repercussions. My role within the mansion is that of "House Mother". I act as an adviser to the Masters and Mistresses, as well as overseer to the Pets. These duties include a part in both mediation, and disciplinary measures. Appearance:  light blonde hair, gray eyes, tall, slim, and stern. Powers: Heightened senses (particularly of sight, smell, and hearing), and the ability to shield her mind from unwelcome intrusion, can selectively silence the powers of others. Aislin's quarters open to a sitting area situated to the right, and a writing desk in a nook by a window to the left. On the other side of this nook is her bathroom, opposite of which is a small, concealable kitchenette she sometimes chooses in favor of leaving her room, which she was permitted as a member of house staff. Concealed by the bathroom wall are her sleeping quarters. The room is clean, neatly organized, and primarily minimalist. She keeps fresh orchids on her desk and her sitting room table, as well as a small collection of books, keepsakes, and photographs neatly displayed.

 Pronella knocked on the door the door that was slightly a jar. She spoke quietly. "You said you wanted to see me Miss Aislin... About the issue of apparently some sort of imposture?..." Pronella was fuming with rage now. But she didn't let it show. In the back of her mind some where she wanted to break or snap something. She had worked so hard for that money and only to give it away to some unknown source.
~ What a waste. If you weren't going to finish that you could have atleast saved it....

Aislin looked up from her sitting area and smiled at Pronella. "Yes, and it's impostor, dear. I suppose whoever took your very hard earned money must have been one. I assure you that there is no front desk here, this is a home, not a hotel. You need only to knock. You have my deepest apologies, as well as those of the Head Mistress."
She took up a cup of tea, and offered one to the young pet. "Tea, Pronella?" Aislin sipped her own daintily. "I'm sure you must be feeling very agitated, and certainly overwhelmed by this discovery. I assure you, you will be repaid for what this has cost you. I suggest that you take some time to relax, and get to know your new home. I must ask, though. When someone tells me to pay a substantial amount of money for something I make it a point to ask for a name. Did this person give you their name?"
Aislin took another sip of her tea, eyeing the girl delicately over her cup.

Pronella shook her head."No thank you. But thank you for asking though." Pronella thought for a moment and then answered again. "No I didn't bother asking his name, because he was where a tag on his suit that said 'Dave' And thank you for taking the time to help me with this situation. And yes just a bit irritated to say the least." She smiled to show it didn't bother her to much. Then said one last thing. "So with that I suppose I will be on may way. Thank you for everything again. You people truly are kind."

Eri tugged on her sweater for what was the 10th time she was standing outside the door for ten minutes now, trying to work up the courage to go in and ask the house mother if she could show her where the kitchen was. Her stomach growled almost in response to her thought. She combed her hair with her fingers again for what also the 10th time, puffed up her cheeks and blew out. She reached up a hand and knocked twice on the door then jumped back with a small squeak as if it had burned her. She held her curled hands up to her mouth and waited.

There was a timid little knock on the door. With a soothing breath she opened the door, muting power within her quarters. She found it made conversation more interesting when people spent less time inside of her head, or assessing their ability to mentally move, set alight, or destory things around her room. She opened the door with a welcoming smile, spotting tiny little Eri, who she had gotten to know by name and sight more than in conversation. She looked quite nervous, with her fingers curled by her lips. "Oh, hello there! Is everything alright, dear?"Aislin gestured for her to come in.

Eri quickly bowed as low as she could her blonde hair falling around her face she spoke quickly something she couldn't help doing when nervous "y-yes miss! Hello miss." she looked up at the house mother when she said come in and scurried as fast she could a few feet in so as not to make the house mother wait. She chewed on her lip and kept her eyes to the floor "I am sorry miss" she said in a small voice "I-I didn't know where to go and they said that you could help me if I didn't know where t-to go" Eri was now standing on her tippy toes looking up at the house mother her eyes pleading and searching that the house mother wasn't upset with her for the intrusion.

Aislin's eyes grew wide, and she gently covered her gasp. She giggled softly, motioning for the poor little pet to stand up straight. "Oh dear! Of course I can help you, but would you like a cup of tea before we figure out where you are headed? Please, sit and relax for a few moments." She smiled fondly at the tiny girl, and turned to put on her kettle.

Eri visibly relaxed when she saw the house mother wasn't upset she moved to a chair in the room and climbed onto it her feet not touching the ground she swung them back a forth a little when she was settled. Eri perked up when the house mother said tea she loved tea with honey, she gave the house mother a small smile and nodded "May I have some honey in it miss?" she asked queitly.

Aislin nodded, and drizzled some honey into both cups of tea, and then twisted a slice of lemon into her own. She served the on saucers, and smiled at Eri, who seemed to have calmed down quite substantially. "Now then! What might you have been looking for earlier? Once I know that it'll be quite a bit easier to tell you where to go." She took a sip of her tea, and leaned back calmly in her chair.

Eri happily took the cup of tea "Thank you miss" she took a big sip before remembering her manners and taking a smaller more polite sip. She set her cup down. she chewed her lip and pressed her hands into her lap, before answering. Then started to speak quickly without taking a breath "well you see miss it was a very long way from my old home to here and niles...thats the man who drove me here was very nice but he wasn't allowed to stop so I could get some food and I was so nervous I hadn't eaten before I left and well you see miss my stomach has been growling for awhile and I am very sorry I didn't eat but I just couldn't!" Eri legs where swinging back and forth as she spoke "but I can help you if I can have some food miss! See I can float! So I can help you reach things and clean the ceiling fans, see?" she hoped out of her chair and jumped into the air, she squeaked and looked down at her feet as if they were broken when she saw she was still on the ground "Oh my goodness!! I broke!!" she continued to jump up and down trying to float but her feet kept hitting the floor "Oh miss! I don't know what happened but I could float when I got here I promise I could!" her eyes welled with tears as she stared at her feet she wasn't lying she knew she could! She was going to get into so much trouble now, miss was going to think she was lying, oh no! Eri pressed her hands to her mouth again, to keep from crying as she waited for the house mother to yell at her.

She could see Eri growing more and more upset, and she stood and put a gentle hand on the little pet's shoulder. "Oh, I am absolutely certain that you can float. You really needn't fret, Eri. I make it a point to silence the abilities of most in my rooms. I am not a Mistress, and I don't expect to be served. My job in the house is to make sure that you are all well taken care of, and well behaved. And if you are hungry you are more than welcome to visit the kitchen, no need to apologize. It is in the North Hall, and I'll walk you there if you like. We should have anything you need."
She hoped that she'd put Eri at ease.

Eri pressed her hands to her stomach and blinked rapidly to clear the tears then closed her eyes and took a deep breath, thank goodness she wasn't broken. She calmed down more when she understood she wasn't going to get into trouble, she looked up at the house mother her eyes still a little watery "I am very sorry for getting so upset I should have known...but I am so nervous I am all by myself and and I really am hoping someone will like me enough to claim me" she looked down at her feet and bit her lip to stop herself from rambling. After a moment she took a deep breath and blew it out she balled her hands into little fists and put on her brave face she looked up at the house mother and said in the clearest voice she could muster "Thank you miss, I would very much like if you came with me. But I know miss may have other things to do" her voice cracked once or twice.

Aislin grinned. "I could use a snack, and to stretch my legs." She replied. "And I don't think you'll need to worry about being claimed. We're all just settling back in after the renovations to the house, so there hasn't been quite as much socializing as there usually is. We'll be having a ball very soon, and it will give everyone a chance to get to know each other."She opened the door and led the way to the kitchen, chatting cheerfully with the pet as they walked.

Eri smiled at the house mother "Miss is very kind" Eri squealed "Oh a ball miss?!" she said bouncing a little bit "Will we get to wear nice dresses?" she said smiling more now and holding onto the house mothers skirt as they walked to the kitchen so she wouldn't wander away.
