New Mauville
DESCRIPTION -
New Mauville is a power plant that is only accessible by Route 110 in Hoenn, its entrance being on that Route. It's an underground plant, an intricate network of tunnels and walls sneaking its way underneath the streets of Mauville City. Powerful Electric-type pokemon have made their homes here, as the plant has been abandoned for quite some time. If one isn't careful, they could have an un-welcome encounter with a pokemon spoken of in another region entirely...
LOCATION -
New Mauville is located on Route 110, literally just under Mauville City, in central Hoenn.
PEOPLE -
Save for the occasional Scientist or Worker that comes through the plant, no known evidence of human interaction is seen here in New Mauville. The plant is mostly dominated by the wild Electric-type pokemon that reside here.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Due to being abandoned some years ago, New Mauville does have a few items lying about that could pose a potential interest to Trainers that wander through its front gates. Best be careful, though; wild Voltorb/Electrode are known to be delighted in disguising themselves as random items here. One would do wise to proceed with caution.
MYTH/LORE -
A good while ago, the main generator in New Mauville was causing problems for the inhabitants of the nearby City, as it was getting ready to blow. The problem has since been taken care of, thanks to the assistance of Mauville's Gym Leader, Wattson.
