SYLAR • MATTHIAS • WARDⓅⓞⓚⓔⓜⓞⓝ • Ⓗⓤⓝⓣⓔⓡ The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, but instead a second enemy, who must also fall ... ═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ The flight from Goldenrod had been more or less uneventful. Sylar had sat in the co-pilot seat for the duration of the trip, as he was one of the select few amidst the crowd of would-be heroes who had experience piloting aircraft. It had been some years, granted, but during his time abroad, the elder Ward brother had spent many hours learning to pilot such craft. In fact, he spent the better part of one year rambling with a group of mercenaries who specialized in air-based hunting - tracking down and capturing some of the most dangerous Flying-types in the known world. He could still remember leaping from the escape hatch onto the back of the monolithic Skarmory...the thing had been neary triple the size of the normal Armor Birds. Ah, those had been some glorious days. Somehow, though, he was fairly certain this trip would prove far more challenging - and, by extension, more glorious - than any of the monstrous tasks he'd undertaken in the past. As their target city came into view, Sylar grinned. I must have pleased someone out there in the cosmos to be sent on such epic quests.
Rotating his neck and cracking his knuckles, Sylar nodded to Jackson. "You handle the landing gear, mon ami. I'll handle the announcements." Pressing the button to activate the speakers, he cleared his throat and began conjuring up something amusing to tell the people in the back of the jet...
"Ladies and menfolk, this is your co-pilot speaking. Thank you for choosing Air Kickass for your travel needs. We will be landing in Lilycove City shortly. The weather in Lilycove today is nothing spectacular, and the current time is...oh, well, it seems I don't have a clock anywhere near me, so figure it out yourself. Please ensure all of your belongings are in your possession, or I will claim them as my own. Once we have landed, please wait for our awesome jet to come to a complete stop before leaving your seat and heading for the exit, unless you're feeling particularly gutsy. Thank you once again, and I certainly hope none of you have lost your nerve. We are here to battle a violent criminal organization, after all." Releasing the speaker button, Sylar chuckled to himself for a moment, then turned to Jackson.
"I trust you can handle landing this beast on your own, Captain Beard-man. Lemme know if we crash or something - I'm gonna rest my eyes until we land."
═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ ... for in the end, the thrill of the kill is mine ... and mine alone.

↚ Ⓝαтнαи Ⓜσияσє ↛ - Hoenn League Champion, Ground-type Specialist - 'And I'm breaking out...I'm breaking out...' Whoever was in charge of landing the Blackbird that was en route from Johto would be in for a bit of a surprise. 'Glai~scor. Glai~scor.' This surprise would be in the form of who was directing the plane on where to land; instead of a normal human flight director, it was a shiny, bright blue-and-yellow Gliscor, a orange-lit baton(of sorts) clamped in each of his claws. Exchanging bewildered looks with each other, the Blackbird's two pilots set about landing their craft.
The Gliscor, meanwhile, seemed to be dancing a bit as he waved the plane in. 'Glai~scor. Glai~sc--' He was cut off by someone shouting from the control tower, via headset(the pilots of the Blackbird probably picked up the same thing on theirs). "David! This isn't a battle, mate; this is an airport. Kindly stop yer flailin', and guide the 'Bird in properly." The source of this voice would be revealed momentarily to the passengers of the Blackbird, as they disembarked the craft(once it came to a stop), then trickled their way into the Lilycove Airport.
The Gliscor - once the plane had safely landed, and its passengers had entered the airport - glided in soundlessly, perching on the shoulder of a man that - surprisingly enough - a few of the people from the Johto flight would know. 'Glaiscor.' The man was easily over six feet tall - probably somewhere in the 6'4" area -, his shaggy, shoulder-length, sandy-blonde hair blowing around slightly(from the airport's air conditioning). His barely-tanned hands were in the back pockets of his well-worn black jeans, his brick-red blazer hanging open to reveal a pale yellow button-down shirt. To complete this man's ensemble, he wore a pair of sturdy black boots, and a pair of tinted sunglasses, covering his yellowish-orange eyes.
One of the 'heroes' from Johto - say, a certain blonde Elite - couldn't help the small smirk that flashed across his lips. "Hi, Dad." He crossed his arms over his chest, quirking a thin blonde eyebrow at the man.
Holding back a chuckle, he nodded in greeting, before proceeding to introduce himself. "As was made obvious by m'boy Devyn--" He nodded to the blonde Elite. "--some of ya know me, but the general consensus is that the majority'a you don't know who I am, so permit me to introduce myself." He bowed slightly. "My name is Nathan Monroe; I'm the League Champion here in Hoenn. I was asked by Prof. Birch to assist those from Johto against these Team Horizon gits." He nodded to the shiny Gliscor on his shoulder, who responded with a big grin - and a 'Glaiscor!' -, waving one of the landing batons that he used earlier. "This here is David; some'a you might've first seen him when you were landin' your craft."
"Right, then." Nodding to those that he knew, he clapped his hands together, effectively getting the group's attention. "Do you lot have any questions before we get started?" 'Last chance to lose control...'

Λlistair ϻycroft ζethbridge-Ϛhaw Not Your Typical English Bobby "Allons-y!" ☜ ❆ ☞ Having quite enjoyed the flight over - the sheer number of buttons and knobs that practically demanded touching had been hard to resist, though - Alistair was relatively peppy as he stepped off the Blackbird and into Lilycove Airport, adrenaline rushing over him at the thought of finally doing some good in the world, not simply muddling through life and being the kooky Unova native. He was an Interpol agent - he was used to doing things. Hence, he was the second (Devyn obviously being the first) to acknowledge Nathan Monroe, the Hoenn League Champion. He'd never met the chap personally, but he'd certainly heard and read of him - though, nothing had quite prepared him for the whole 'disheveled rock star' look he was sporting, or the . . . pirate voice? He had to be putting that on. Didn't he? If he wasn't . . . damn, he wanted to sound like that when he was older. Stepping forward, Alistair shook Nathan's hand energetically, grinning madly. "Detective Inspector Alistair Lethbridge-Shaw, pleased to meet you, very much indeed, indeed. Hope you don't mind if I borrow your limelight for a moment?" He'd been given an update from his superiors on the flight over, giving him their informant's latest update, which he was to share with the rest of the team. "Boys and girls, I just received an update from our Horizon informant - it's believed the team have a base located either in Lilycove, or just outside the City limits; if we're to have any chance of beating them to the Tao trio, we'll need to find that base. Everyone should split into groups and start searching a part of the City - that way, we can cover more ground. That sound good to everyone? You, Champ?"

↚ Ⓝαтнαи Ⓜσияσє ↛ - Hoenn League Champion, Ground-type Specialist - 'And I'm breaking out...I'm breaking out...' "Excellent idea, mate." Nodding, Nathan clapped Alistair a bit roughly on the shoulder - hey, it was his nature -, before addressing the large group in front of him. "Obviously, these groups are goin' to need leaders, s--" Before he could finish his sentence, at least half a dozen hands shot into the air. "Bit of an eager lot, aren't ya?" Scratching his chin, he chuckled. "Alright, lessee..." After mulling it over in his mind for a moment, he pointed at one of the younger group members - Seth. "We'll start with you, m'boy - step forward, please." A bit confused, the younger Walker sibling did as instructed, being met with a hand on each of his shoulders. "This young lad--"
"He's Seth."
"Right." Nathan nodded. "This young lad Seth here will be your man for Team 1. Anyone that wants to join 'im is free t'do so - you lot get the Lilycove Museum, on the City's northwestern end." A bit skeptical of being led by a 15-year-old - but eager to get going -, Seth was joined by Aisha(claiming that her younger brother couldn't do jack without her 'guidance'), Kyle, Jackson, Roz, Samuel, Koko&Tai(everyone's favorite pop twins), and Mona. Once the group introduced themselves to each other, they began to make their way to the Lilycove Museum.
"Now for our second leader..." Another bit of mulling it over in his mind, and Nathan pointed to one of the tallest members of the group - Reno. "How about the tall redheaded gent here--"
"Reno."
"Right." Waving Reno forward, he threw an arm around the tall ginger's shoulder. "Reno here is goin' to lead Team 2 - you lot get the Contest Hall." A bit more confident in their leader than those of Team 1, Reno was joined by Ally, Calvin - both separately, so as not to attract any unwanted attention -, Brandon, Shiori, Kai, Amelia, Sylar, and Cain. The members of Team 2 then began to head for the Contest Hall, those that knew each other catching up a bit as they headed in that direction.
"As for the rest of us..." He looked around at the group that remained - himself, Devyn, Alistair, Teddy, Annette, Ace, Evie(a young upstart form Hoenn, oddly enough), Sylvia, and Simon. "The lot of us will make up Team 3 - we'll go an' head to the Harbor, led by--" He paused for a moment, mulling over the potential leader options for the remaining group. "--I suppose I'll step up and take command." An almost-mischievous glint could barely be made visible through the tinted sunglasses that Nathan wore over his orange(ish) eyes.
"What could go wrong, I wonder..." Devyn rolled his gray-green eyes, masking the small smirk that flashed across his lips by covering his mouth with a fingerless-gloved hand.
"Consider it bondin', m'boy." Nathan playfully nudged Devyn in the side with his elbow, then began to lead the way towards the Lilycove Harbor. "Come on, you lot!" he barked out over his shoulder. "We don't have all day here t'be lollygaggin' around, now do we?" With that, the group that comprised Team 3 began to head for the Harbor... 'Last chance to lose control...'

ovO Samuel Mirrera Ovo -pokemon field researcher- Let's start with the first Team, shall we? "I still wanna know how Sethie got t'be leader'a this group." Pouting slightly, Aisha crossed her arms over her chest as the group made their way to the Lilycove Museum.
"Probably because your brother may very well be more trustworthy than you, Miss Aisha." Chuckling, Samuel (playfully)ruffled the Gym understudy's hair.
That particular remark warranted a quirked eyebrow from the elder Walker sibling. "Point being?"
"I have no doubt of the battling skills you possess that warranted you the position of Mahogany Gym understudy, Miss Walker." Given that he was the eldest in the group, Samuel seemed to be leading the way to the Museum. "However, battling skill isn't necessarily a valid example of one's ability to keep cool under stressful situations, like the one we were called to Hoenn for."
Jester - who was(as usual), riding along in Samuel's messenger bag - popped his head out to nod in agreement with his master's words. 'Flo~oatzel!' Before Aisha could come up with a retort/comeback, he dived back into the 'safety' of his master's bag.
"...!?" The elder Walker looked a bit flustered, as she stormed off after the field researcher - Seth probably enjoyed this. "Why didn't you go with Ally's group anyway?"
Samuel stopped in his tracks, flashing Aisha a wicked grin over his shoulder. "You youngsters need looking after." A snickering sound of 'ZelZelZelZelZel~' could be heard from the bespectacled man's bag.
"..." Aisha glowered at the man for a moment, before shaking her head; they were on a mission(of sorts) here in Hoenn, and it wouldn't do good to have conflict among the Team members, now would it?

╔ K o k o r o & T a i k e i k i╝ ██████████████████████████████████████████ IMA KIDZUKI HAJIMETA UMARETA RIYUU O (Now, I've begun to realise the reason I was born)
KITTO HITORI WA SABISHII... (Being on your own is surely lonely...)
The twins were, oddly, quiet as they listened to the instructions. They stood together, as usual, arms linked together. As if Tai were kindly escorting Koko somewhere. As soon as the leaders were announced, without provocation, Koko dragged Tai over to Team number 1. With a huge grin plastered on her face, she looked up at Tai, clearly excited.
For what, exactly? No one but him would know. They could read each other so easily, it was scary. They supposed it might be a 'twin thing'.
Whatever that meant.
Tai sighed and smiled back at her, then looked to the rest of the group, still questioning the decision to appoint the boy in charge.... especially when there were two adults in the group.
But hey, he was no expert, right?
But it certainly did intrigue him... This kid must be good if he was appointed leader just by the guy looking at him. Must have something special about him.
After all of this was through, Tai wondered if maybe he could battle the young Walker. He hoped he would get such a chance.
He looked back to his sister, who was still smiling contently, just glad to be included. She was being uncharacteristically quiet, but there was nothing to suggest anything was wrong... so he tried his best to ignore it and listen to the others.
This worry was soon thrown out the window very soon.
Apparently, Koko couldn't contain her excitement any longer. As the group began to head to their assigned destination, she pulled her brother by the arm to the front of the group where their young leader was leading the pack.
"Hai! My name is Kokoro Kagami! And this is my brother, Taikeiki!" She introduced, Tai simply nodding in embarrasment to the boy. "You can just call us Koko and Tai, though. It's much easier~! Looks like we're in your group!" She said happily. "I wonder why he made you leader... you must be something special,. right?" She grinned. "How old are you anyway? Are you taking the Gym Challenge?"

Seth Walker Ace Trainer "I wonder what it'd be like if I lived in a video game? . . . Nope, can't think of any differences." Seth had to admit, he wasn't actually expecting to get chosen as a team leader by the pirate-man, but the opportunity to boss around his two friends and sister wasn't exactly something he was going to turn down. The 15 year old grinned madly as he listened in to Samuel and Aisha's conversation, making a note to get to know the older man later - he sounded like a good, proper eccentric Professor - just as the musical twins collared him. "Er . . . hi, Koko and Tai." From what he'd heard, the two were meant to be big musical stars (Seth had somehow managed to pass them by, though he might well check their music out later now they were on his team), so he was expecting a pair of twits incapable of battling - but these two actually seemed rather competent. Not to mention, they were . . . nice. Which was - nice. "I'm Seth. Seth Walker." When the female twin, Koko, made a comment about him being special, he couldn't help but have a bit of fun with it all. "I'm kind of a big deal. I'm fifteen years old, I'm about to get my eighth badge, I'm Lugia's Chosen, and I have a Dragonite - " Said Dragonite chose that moment to pipe up, hovering over the twins with a mad grin. "Hi! I'm from ten years ago!" With that, he flew off to inspect the corner of the City containing the Museum, presumably off doing recon, and Seth couldn't help but chuckle. " - A Dragonite from ten years ago. Long story. So yeah. Big deal. That's me." His mind went a bit blank, he simply winked before pulling out a straw and firing a spit ball at Aisha's head. Hey, he was a teenager, it was what he did. Coping mechanism or something.

KYLE BOLLINGER "I wanna be the very best..." Despite having just realized that he and his older sister were on this mission together, he saw that she decided to go along with a different group. Maybe she didn't want to be near her brother? Either way, she was skipping school to take part in this excursion, and even though she didn't say exactly why she was in Kanto to begin with, Kyle promised not to tell their parents about it. They certainly wouldn't be happy with their only daughter skipping class, and even less so to hear that both their children are on a dangerous mission to save the world. Typical parenting, but what can you do?
With his newly evolved Croconaw out walking beside him, Kyle took a deep breath, still coming to terms with what was going on. It was a big deal, no doubt, but he was confident that he could hold his own if called upon. He thought about how he and Lexia had both gotten their second gym badge, which made his heart swell up in excitement. His smile returned to his face and he looked down at Snaps. "I hope you're not scared, Snaps... This is gonna be a big battle, prolly the biggest battle of our lives!" he said, throwing his hands up in the air for emphasis. The Big Jaw Pokemon nodded and snapped his jaws happily, taking a bite out of what seemed to be a leftover sneaker. "SNAPS!! How many times do I gotta tell you! Stop eating my stuff!!"
Some things never change, do they? "...that NO ONE ever was!"

xxxxxxxxxAiden "Roz" Cherrywoodxxxxxxxxx "I'm the poisonous flower of the Cherrywood family!" After the leader was called, Roz quickly slid over to Seth. He wasn't paying much attention afterwards, really, he was still a bit distracted. He just kind of lingered not far from Seth, much rather stay near someone he knew than wander off and get lost. However, he was snapped out of his daze when the Wonder Twins burst forwards to Seth and started asking questions. At this point he couldn't help but pipe up a little bit. "You're not the only one hunting for his eighth badge, Seth. I've been working towards one of my own since I got kicked out of Blackthorn with nothing to show for it." After that, he thought for a moment, piping up again. "I've got a dragon of my own, now that I think about it. . .not a true dragon type, though, but still a Chinese-esque Dragon."
Roz felt a small urge to try and deflect the spitball aimed at Aisha's head. He had overhead a slight part of Samuel's conversation with the older Walker and realized the two were related. Considering the relation he had with his own older sister, he found it somewhat insulting that Seth would treat his sister in such a way. Granted, his own older sister picked on him every now and again, it was only on his battling style, which he had been working on since he left home.
It was here he caught himself. He had been acting waaaaaay out of character for him. At least the him that existed in Johto. He couldn't act this way the entire time, could he? Honestly, he though it may freak some people out, especially considering he didn't even answer Mona's question back in Goldenrod. He needed to find a way to get back into his 'normal' explosive mood. . .Not right now, though. There was a mission at hand. Maybe when things start going down and drastic measures must be taken. It was decided, once the true fight happened, someone or something was going to get blown up by his hands, fatal or not. . .Preferably not."And I also like to blow things up!"

The Amazing Adventures of Mona Ailteillé, Cain Abellé, and Sylvia Alden-Larson!"You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club."
✖ The flight had been a blur of faces, flight attendants, those little peanut wrapper-things that tasted funny... Movies, conversations, those funky little umbrellas from the martini's Mona wasn't old enough to have... Sylvia yanked her bag out of the side compartment, recoiling backwards into the seats when the weight things like socks and pepperspray really added up. She strolled out the plane, down the folding metal stairs, wearing the face of a wary mother watching over her cubs. She felt a little wary knowing that there was an organization running amok around the city. She never got to expirence the Rocket scandal in Kanto when she was a child, but organizations alike it was something Sylvia still noted as "A serious threat, but easily taken care of, rest assured." She really didn't have faith in something like that if the entire Team were to scatter like roaches once their leader disappears. "Nathan. How ya been?" Sylvia strolled past the crowd of people to be alongside Devyn and Nathan, offering her hand and a shy grin. She had almost forgotten how tall the two were - but standing alongside, it was awfully daunting to be among people towering high above Sylvia's slender figure. She had also noted she should watch her mouth, especially since her boss was right there, and she really didn't like being put on the spot for her "free-thinking" mind. She slinked beside Devyn, as the newly dubbed Team Three scuddled off to the pier to investigate. "So... Just HOW threatening are these guys? I personally like having a little background knowledge on the bug I'm squishing later on..."Sylvia enjoyed prowling around with a team, like in investigation team. It gave this trip some character instead of just some boring old mission, with nothing fruitful, or even a badass-looking scar was saved in the end. Sylvia chuckled. "I feel like a Tuesday afternoon television rerun!"______________ Cain ducked out of the plane door, to greet the ocean air brushing past him, reaching out to everyone in the city. He rubbed his five'o'clock shadow and yawned, streching out his arms to where the outlines of his muscles peeked through his jacket. He tossed his gym bag over his shoulder, and slinked over to the already departing team two to the contest hall. Cain had began wondering is this were such a place for a team to assemble, a contest hall where several people came in an out of, crowds of hundreds watching the pokémon up on stage... He was hoping someone here had the same notion as he did. He waved towards Leila, and smiled. At least there was a face he knew among the several dispersed around Lilycove; but that only meant the unknown is what the teams could be after. Cain shrugged off any concern, as they the entered the contest hall, and decided to join a shifty-looking redhead, which he had only caught the name of Brandon. "So... Do you really think they're going to be here...?"Cain wasn't so much skeptical when it came to things like this, but, an attack on a contest hall? That was absurd. Surely one of the other main attractions like the department store or the hotel were to be in danger.... ____________________________ Mona, now standing alongside the newly dubbed Team one in the hushed, serene museum, kept watching over her shoulder, taking note of any suspicious looking faces looking back at her with cold, evil eyes. She wasn't wary of most people, she welcomed the idea of strangers greeting her; but this wasn't the case. The fact that everyone was grouped together made the plan seem a bit more safe, and more organized. Nevertheless, Mona was pleased to find Roz, Kyle, and Seth among the group. She had the luck of being with at least three familiar faces instead of strangers, or Sylvia and her chaotic presence. Mona had remembered when she lived in Lilycove as child, playing alongside the ocean's shore until sunset, and watching the Wingull fly off to the West. Now thinking that even the house down the road she once lived in, played in, learned in, grew in, was infested with Team Horizon, just took the the wind out of her. She had remembered in years past where Team Aqua and Magma were running afoot in Lilycove too. It seemed like every organization like that all had a similar goal, a personal interest, and fought against other teams to meet that goal. But in the end, all these Teams were just another copy-paste of the last, all doing something they claim to be for the good of the world, but in the end, it's just another selfish, outlandish act of terrorizing the public. Maybe everyone's a little selfish.A lesson in life Mona had still not completly understood. She had brushed off all the negative notions of Team Horizon, and the worry of something going down once she had stumbled upon all the ancient, mysterious wonders of the world, captured in glass and pedestals. She took her time while wandering with the rest of the group, examining each exhibit, reading every little caption, and staring at each asymmetrical piece. The worry had soon melted off once she had soon had time top take her mind off more troubling matters; Even if the troubling matters were Team Horizon, Roz's inexplicable mood change, and the weight of her picnic basket. "...Seth? Do you really think everything will be okay in the end?"Mona still liked to worry. ((Esp: Failpost is Fail.))_________________________________________ "Darn the wheel of the world! Jackson Vakarian Water-Type Specialist Goldenrod City Gym Leader Jackson had appreciated Sylar's help landing the Blackbird, never having actually landed such a large jet before - a Cessna 182 was a bit beneath a top-of-the-range stealth plane, after all - and patted the redhead on the shoulder as he unbuckled, leaving the plane with the rest of his group. And then suddenly Devyn had a pirate-dad. Vakarian had to work really really hard to resist that temptation to walk up to the man and find out if he was as annoying as his son was; if he was, he would likely be unable to resist the temptation to throw down right there and then; and if he wasn't . . . well, he had enough blackmail material on the blonde Elite, he didn't need to add baby pictures to the pile growing every day. So the Goldenrod Gym Leader simply stuck his hands in his pockets and watched, mellow as anything, as he was placed under the supervision of a 15 year old. And then told to go to a museum. . . . He had an overwhelming urge to throw his hands up into the air and yell 'FML!' In all truth, however, Jackson had no small amount of respect for Seth (how could he not, after the eventful battle they had shared just under a year ago?), and he wasn't in the same group as the blonde, the schizo or the lech, so he was already one-up on Ally and Reno. Hands still in his pockets, Jackson bumbled around the museum, letting Selina out of her Poke Ball so she could glomp him, meet Puff and go make some daisy chains. That or play pattycake. Dragonite had the oddest social rituals Vakarian had ever seen, and he'd spent a week amongst comic book nerds, so he knew weird a mile off. That being said, comic book nerds weren't orange or cuddly, not unless they had had an accident of some kind, so it wasn't as if he minded

o./o Reno Moradoo./o -Mahogany Town gym leader--Electric-type specialist- And now, onto the recently-dubbed Team 2. "So what brought on the whole Dragonite fascination you started talkin' about back in Goldenrod?" Quirking a curious black eyebrow at their 'esteemed' leader, Ally gave Reno a questioning look.
Her answer was met with a light shrug. "Seems like everyone I know has one'a them," Reno began. "That, and I read that they learn Electric-type moves, which is always a plus in my book."
In fact, one of the redhead's Electric-types - Surge, his Electivire - was conversing with a particular orange Dragon Pokemon; in this case, it was Xander(Ally's Dragonite). 'Ee~eelectivire~' The Thunderbolt Pokemon was showing off his impressive muscular build, almost as if he was daring the Dragonite to go against him.
Instead? 'Ba~arooRoo^^' Grinning cheerfully - as per usual~. -, Xander's comically-small wings flapped wildly as he glomped the giant yellow yeti. It was a customary Dragonite greeting; what would you expect?
Needless to say, it wasn't that surprising to Ally - surprising to Reno, maybe -, when Xander managed to pick Surge up with his glomping. "Watch out for that, by th'way." Chuckling, she jerked a thumb over her shoulder as the Electivire was put back onto his feet, the Dragonite clapping him on the shoulder in a friendly gesture...
...which sent him(Surge) stumbling forward a bit. 'Lecti...' He blinked in confusion; where did he go just now?
"..." Now it was Reno's turn to quirk an eyebrow. "I'll...be sure to?" Shrugging to himself, he continued to look for the Lilycove Contest Hall.
"D'you have any clue where you're headin'?"
"Hell no."
Ally sighed, running a hand through her raven-colored bangs. "Por el amor de..." Rolling her reddish-brown eyes, she grabbed Reno - who let out a surprised "Oi!" - by the back of his bolero's collar, dragging him off towards an elaborately-decorated building(the Contest Hall).

emotion_bigheart ~AMELIA BOLLINGER~ emotion_bigheart "Fighting a group of bloodthirsty psychos?"Amelia decided to tag along with Team 2, following along behind Reno and the rest of the crew. Gouken and Locke were with her, casually looking around the town to see if they could spot anything out of the ordinary. The blond trainer knew her way around here fairly well, having been to Lilycove for the majority of her stay in Hoenn. Of course, Amelia wasn't too much concentrating on the people walking about their own business. Rather, she was paying more attention to the men that had joined the same group she was in....
'Hmm, lessee... Too tall... Too goth... Too geeky... Too ginger... He's pretty cute, but... Yeah, he's taken. The cute ones are always taken...'
While she was idly inspecting her teammates, her Blaziken remained on a vigilant lookout for... well, anything, really. They didn't quite know what they were looking for, but they were sure to find something, even in a place as conspicuous as a Contest Hall. Locke, not really one for having a suitable attention span, ran about to see all the fancy accessories and other things that littered the Hall. The female trainer looked around lazily, halfheartedly paying attention, which caused her to bump into Calvin's back. "Oh! S-Sorry 'bout that!" she said, blushing lightly from embarrassment. It was quite uncharacteristic of her to apologize for something like this; normally she'd blame the other party, but she seemed to think that it'd be better to take the blame for this one. "There's an app for that..."

SYLAR • MATTHIAS • WARDⓅⓞⓚⓔⓜⓞⓝ • Ⓗⓤⓝⓣⓔⓡ The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, but instead a second enemy, who must also fall ... ═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Sylar kept himself in the back of the group, his eyes scanning fiercely over every inch of the town he could take in. Contest Hall? Not a bad idea. In many ways, the Contest Hall could function as an ideal location to stash an entrance to a secret hideout. Potent supplies of energy, not to mention the crowd. All too often, despite the risk, having a large group of the general public so close to a hidden location not only made it easy to slip in and out, but also made it infinitely more difficult for the authorities to track who was involved and who was a bystander. Arceus knows the casino in Celadon worked for a long time before that kid busted up the party. Horizon could have taken a cue from Rocket...
The problem with knowing this, of course, was that he couldn't easily voice it to anyone in his team. Being a seasoned soldier was one thing, and being a member of Sinnoh's PLIB was another - it was unnecessarily risky to reveal how much of the criminal mind Sylar really understood. If a proper time arose, he could drop a clue or two, if only to help things along. He had to admit, he was eager to find this Team Horizon, if for no other reason than to test them. If any of them were up to snuff, he thought he may see about trying to turn them over to Rocket's side. Violet could always use the fresh blood, after all. Then there was this Dragon business...if he could track one down, it would prove to be the grandest hunt he'd ever partaken in. And if any of these simpletons got in his way...well, there was always collateral damage to consider in these types of missions. Accidents happen all the time. Keeping his face still, Sylar removed two Pokeballs from his belt, beginning to contact juggle them along his arms as he walked behind the group.
The two Pokeballs he had selected were of Xion and Rango, his Scizor and Kecleon (respectively). They hadn't even caught a hint of trouble yet, but the elder Ward brother was already crafting strategies in case they should encounter any adversaries. Nothing too in-depth, of course; they didn't know exactly what they were up against, so anything with too much planning could fall apart in an instant. For now, he deemed it best just to keep his plans loose and his whits sharp.
═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ ... for in the end, the thrill of the kill is mine ... and mine alone.
