This will be our OoC thread. smile I've decided to go ahead and open the RP here after all. ^^

Here you can chat about the RP, make plans for your characters, get help with your characters, etc. You'll also post up your character sheets and ideas here. :3 The character sheets can be found below, along with an explanation of the world's character creation rules.

Name: Laïs Van Zande
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance: A pale skinned woman, black hair and green eyes. She's about 5'35 and a bit skinny due to recently passed events.
History: Laïs has had the bad luck of her lover breaking up with her. Her heartache has thrown her into the occasional rain of tears and makes it hard for her to eat. However, she doesn't want to give in. Instead, she tries to forget about him by working twice as hard at her job (she's an accountant at a well-known accountancy office in Crysla) and distracting her mind with this game named 'Lillend'.

Character Class: Runemaster
Character History: A new character who recently entered the world of Lillend. Following previous game experience, the character will most likely end up being 'poor' compared to most gamers' standards. She has claimed a gunsword for she thinks it looks awesome, and she - the player - is crazy enough to study all the runes by heart for the sake of fluff.

((Kuro--I'm assuming that if they're colonizing space, they have come across aliens. LoL. Just an assumption--if I should change his specialty, I will. I'm also assuming you can access the game matrix from any location, not just Earth.))

Name: Peter Whitney
Age: 27
Gender: male
Appearance: About 5'11", dark hair, dark eyes, average build and appearance--tends to look perpetually sleepy and bored
History: Peter is a medical intern, whose specialty is xenobiology. When internships were given, he was shipped off to a frontier mining colony, where he still works. Probably because he's an apathetic, lazy, trouble maker and was generally not well liked by his peers or superiors. Unfortunately, out on an isolated frontier, there's really not much interesting stuff to do off duty, and most of the other doctors are old and male. Peter tends to play Lillend in his spare time (which he has a lot of). He's too apathetic to get as passionate about the game as some other players--it's mostly a way to kill time. So he can be...interesting...to have along on quests. Fortunately, being an alomancer puts him in high demand.

Character Appearance: More or less the same as his appearance except that he is obviously dressed to suit the environment/setting
Character Class: Alomancer
Character History: (optional) Well established character in game--definitely not a newbie. Is, however, possibly a noob. On purpose, usually.

Name: Guess Anderson
Age: 24
Gender: female
Appearance: Average height, strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes. Growing up in a habitat, and on ships---Guess hasn't ever gotten much sun. She's pretty fair complexioned.
History: Grew up on U.S. Titan 5, a colony known for its cooks and tree-hugging hippie types. (Odd since it has very, very few trees.) Her father was one of the technicians that kept the habitats running, and Guess used to help him when she was a child. When she was older, she tended to get jobs working on freighters and the like, doing mechanic work. She has a love of gadgets, and generally likes to just tinker with stuff. She has a natural affinity for using and figuring out technology.
Currently lives on Earth, and works in a small tech shop. She's going a bit stir crazy, but doesn't have the cash to get a ride off the planet, so she uses Lillend as an escape.

Character Name: Guess
Character Gender: Female
Character Appearance: More or less same as her appearance--longer hair, and dressed to suit the environment/setting
Character Class: Holosin
Character History: (optional) Fairly new character to Lillend. She's only been around a couple of weeks and is still learning the ropes.

Colony Name: U.S. Titan 5
History: Titan 5 is one of several large habitats built and colonized on Saturn's moon, Titan. The fifth, and smallest of the U.S. Colonies, Titan 5 is known for its liberal thinkers and pseudo-scientists. It has a reputation for quacks who like to give their kids weird names that have supposedly philosophical meanings.

Location: Titan

Name: Annemae Yshisa
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dark, dirty blonde hair, cut in a shoulder-length bob. Has blue eyes and has slight freckles on her cheeks and shoulders. Light/pale skin-tone. About 5'6'' tall, and has a medium build, including chest size.
History: Annemae was born on Earth, but didn't get much time to experience it as her family then moved to the colony Crysla on the planet Gliese. She grew up there, and loved to help further colonize the planet by helping create more habitable areas.
Once she grew old enough, though, she started to shy away from all that 'help the colony' stuff and just wanted to have fun and party. She loves to go out with her friends, hang out, and party.
It wasn't long before she discovered the world of virtual reality. She tried out a few of the type-1 and type-2 games, but got bored with them because they were too much like real life. It was then that she picked up Lillend and decided to try it out.

Character Name: Caela
Character Gender: Female
Character Appearance: Black hair in a boyish cut, and brown/gold eyes, but otherwise she looks about the same as her real life appearance, freckles not included.
Character Class: Gunslinger
Character History: Caela is new to Lillend, and has just started out.

Name: Aku Malaika
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance: Short blonde hair, with long bangs but short hair in the back. Has light blue eyes, wears glasses, and also has a tan complexion. About 6'1'' in height.
History: Aku is one of the good surgeons in the medical field, that specializes in technological implants and electronic prosthetics. He likes to help people whose body needs to be fixed, but can't be done by normal means.
He does travel where he's needed, and helps those he can. At the moment, he's traveling back to Earth, and is using Lillend in his downtime so he could better pass the time.

Character Name: Aku
Character Gender: Male
Character Appearance: The same as his real life appearance, only he has white hair, and a tattoo of a few runes on his left arm, wrapping around his bicep like a band. They are of the runes ALGIZ and EIHWAZ.
Character Class: Rune Master
Character History: Aku is an established character in-game and is of average level for a rune master. He likes to help out newbies, especially the cute ones.

Yus they are. :3 They're more likely to be used by Holosins than any other class, though.

I think Guess needs one >=o

Gunsword? Naaahhh. Not my style. Ever seen Equilibrium? A gun is already its own CQB weapon. lol.

You can contribute some runes to the RP, yus. :3 Futhark runes can be one of the types of runes in here. <3 I was going to add my own version for other types of runes, such as the more advanced spells and the like. :3 But the Futhark ones can possibly be the basic ones? I'd appreciate the help. <3
