NOTE: This spell should only be used in real need. To be honest, Talismans are generally ongoing spells, but still...you must think of the consequences and possible reactions before using.

We aren't talking lottery funds either...this was meant to get me a little money in the day ahead when I needed it. Remember the Rule of Three!

The money you acquire could be from someone dropping it in the street, or a family member giving you an undeserved gift. Things that they need themselves...so think. But when you have, and are happy...

I think I'll try that if I'm in need... what if it's money for someone else who may need it? Would it have the same effect? Because I'm in no dire need of money right now, but I know of someone who may be...

And I'm terrified of the Law of Three. >.<

My only problem would be attaining grease-proof paper, unless wax paper will do, and the dried basil. I'm not sure my mum has any of that.

Um...well make a talisman for the person and give it to them...if they wouldn't be too impressed then I suppose you could get a personal effect (possibly) and seal that in the talisman too.

Like hair or nails would be best.

As for the Greaseproof Paper...it's just to make sure you can "peel" the talisman off when it's dry without bits of newsprint stuck to the back. Hehe...

Good Luck with it if you do...

I could try that... *thinks* Again, terrified of the Law of Three... but what if I do it but then find out that she doesn't need the money? Would I still be penalized for it? The Law of Three is tricky...

Well, if your doing it for the right reasons...as in trying to help someone out...or in real need.

Which you are...trying to help someone you THINK is in need. Then it can only come back good right?

I read somewhere that witches always start out their magick very selfishly...well...they do lots of spells for themselves to see what works best for them etc...

...but only when you have experimented upon yourself can you go about using magick on others...which is true...i mean, you wouldn't want to do a spell that backfires on your mum would you?

Not sure if that is relevant now I just came to me so I added it in.

But I say (voice of god you know), that if you want to help...and you think she needs it...make a small talisman and see how that works out. If she gets a little money and talks to you about it...

...then you can decide whether she needs more or not. Sorry about all the "..." but they look so good. And they are my holy children, of course.

So...yeah, hope that helps. If not, PM me and tell me what a terrible advisor I am...or just PM me anyway...I like mail.

You are such a horrible advisor!

... naw, I'm just kidding. <3 And the "..." doesn't bother me at all.

I wrote down everything in the whole Guild Shadows thing last night. =/ My hand still hurts.

I always thougt that the Law of Three was tricky because no matter what your intentions are, or in this case, let's say she doesn't need it [Which I found out the other day.] and I make one, it's giving her un-needed money, and draining it out of other people's pockets. So to me, regardless of my intentions, if she doesn't need it and I make one for her, I'll be penalized.

You are right...and I know how you feel. But with me, I think personally would try and help out without witchcraft first. Asking if she is ok in life etc.

I always take magick as a last resort...except all my little daily-pagan things. Superstitions and Sachets above the door kinda stuff.

Anyway...God Speed little Childhood...

Generally speaking, you shouldn't do magick until you've exhausted every other solution as well. But the threefold law wasn't meant to penalize anyone but people who deliberately try to hurt people. If your intentions are good and you've thought it through thouroghly, why should the goddess punish you for trying to help? even if it does go awry, or turns out to be unnecessary.... Hope that helps.

EDIT: THAT SHOULD READ SHOULDN'T. lol. I'm a terrible proof reader.

That does make sense... but I'm still scared!

Anyway, it doesn't matter, because she doesn't need the money anyway.
