So, I couldn't think/find a good area in which I might play some meet and greet with you guys. That being the case, I went ahead and made this thread.
So... I'm interested in meeting all of you!
Though, forgive me, I should really introduce myself first. You may address me as Essi, or any variation or nickname you'd prefer. I am a nobleman in my own right.
I've been on Gaia for about 5 years now, dating myself to be an early '06 user. I've studied, fought, survived in these threads, as all of you have as well, I'm sure.
I raised myself on Gaia as a avid roleplayer, though I've really slowed my pace a significant level. Essi is a character that is not yet completely finished, though he's drawing to a close soon. As you can see, my signature leads to my own private collaboration thread(which, in admittance, still needs to get going a little faster. Simply haven't opened any projects yet, my fault.) which you can keep track of my doings and what not. I encourage you to get involved if you're interested.
After several failures and successes, I feel accomplished enough to at least step foot into your threads, and I hope you feel I am welcomed there as well. I do have a few questions, but I'm sure you'd like to ask a few of yours first.

True. Though there are also plenty of affiliated guilds that well are more active than this but not really by a significant amount. Though admittedly I haven't really been all that active myself recently.

Brian :: Well you've certainly been a lot more attentive than I have. I'm still working on all my characters, and I've been slipping in and out of the roleplaying world myself.
Every time I'm around the Battledome though, including my first few posts(if I recall, my first post was against you), you're in there giving 0, and usually pretty much a badass.
Kudos to you, my friend.

Hmmm. Sudden temptation to start an ego point meter for myself. <_<
Also, your posts are pretty damn good. Even if I don't always agree with the way you end up characterizing your opponents.

I really need to study other people's characters a lot more around here. That's why I'll play more meet and greet! : )
I did have a question though. I've noticed people tend to get real detailed in fights some of the time, with stuff like,
Player one threw a punch! Player Two dodged it, threw a counter punch! Player one dodged that, threw a counter punch!...
Then there are some people who don't deal with too much of the fuss of the battle, with things simply like, the two engaged in a flurry of mixed martial arts, or batted their blades against one another for several tens of minutes before...
So.. what's preferable around the dome?
