Mt. Pyre DESCRIPTION -Practically steeped in history, Mt. Pyre sits along Route 122 in Hoenn. The souls of departed pokemon are said to reside here, as Trainers can be seen on many of its five floors, mourning the loss(es) of their beloved partners. At the top there's a lovely old couple, who are more than happy to tell any passing person(s) about the various legends that surround the mountain. LOCATION -Mt. Pyre is located on Route 122, just southwest of Lilicove City, in eastern Hoenn. PEOPLE -As stated above, Trainers can be seen on the mountain from time to time, mourning the loss(es) of their beloved pokemon partners. At the top, there's an old couple; they have many a legend to tell about the region. RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -It's rumored that Team Aqua and Team Magma both had dealings in the past here, their attention(s) focused on two spherical objects that are said to give their holder(s) the power to command the Leviathan(Kyogre) and the Behemoth(Groudon). A notable bit of trivia as well: a member of Hoenn's Elite Four is said to have trained here before she claimed her spot. MYTH/LORE -A thick fog is said to envelop the higher floors of Mt. Pyre, especially on the outside levels. Legend has it that the 'spherical objects' at the summit aren't the only legendary pokemon tie-in here...

Seth took in the controls in front of him with no small amount of concentration, eventually deciding that certain levers did certain things, and the big red button was likely best not pressed. Cupping his chin in his hand, he thought for a moment before shrugging and pulling back on a lever, pushing his foot on the first pedal it found. The tank promptly shot backwards, smashing into a nearby empty jeep, the rocket launcher on its back perilously close to the tank's fuel tank. The vehicle rocked with the impact, even as Seth blinked, before popping his head out of the top to see what he'd hit. "Huh. Whoops." He ducked back in again, and the tank promptly reversed again, tracking over the jeep and crushing it before there was the sound of an 'aah!' of realization and the tank shot forward, the team setting off at a fair pace. Locating his own little tank commander's cap, the fifteen year old plopped it in on his head and gave his fellows a thumbs-up even as they rumbled out of the Team Horizon base and on the way to Mt. Pyre, in search of the legendary Pokemon there. "Go forth and be awesome, solider! . . . And crocodile." With his attention distracted, he crashed into a car that had been abandoned by its owner, throwing everyone forward. "Sorry!" Revving the engine, getting the hang of the controls, they shot forth, soon catching up to a steady convoy of Team Horizon vehicles. Jackson, listening intently to the radio, clicked his fingers and gestured for Seth to hand over his Pokemon - all those capable of fighting, anyway. "We're gonna need an escort. Hand 'em over, kiddo." Within moments, the hurliest and burliest of the two male's teams had been thrown out into the crossfire of the battle outside, waged between the convoy of jeeps, halftracks and light tanks that were matching the Abrams for speed - which promptly sped up a notch at the sight of Domo, Diego, Natalya, Maggie, Puff, Tumbler, Selina, Dame, Jack and Hiro pursuing them, an almighty inferno of all types of elementary energy blowing jeeps into the sky left right and center. Seth pulled down the pair of goggles attached to his tank commander cap, fitting them over his eyes even as Hiro smashed a lightly armoured tank into a tree with a supercharged Superpower. Jackson chuckled, even as he put on some music. Time to take things back.

╔ K o k o r o & T a i k e i k i╝ ██████████████████████████████████████████ IMA KIDZUKI HAJIMETA UMARETA RIYUU O (Now, I've begun to realise the reason I was born)
KITTO HITORI WA SABISHII... (Being on your own is surely lonely...)
The twins excitement could not save them from their leaders bad driving. They tumbled over each other as the tank jerked and rocketted in different directions. It wasn't the kids fault, he probably had never driven a tank before. He couldn't be blamed.... but that didn't make it hurt less.
Finally, once they had found things to grab ahold of, the two shook off their dizziness and found chairs, thinking it would be smarter now to be seated rather than hopping around like jumping beans (like they had done only a few minutes ago).
When Jackson asked 'escorts', and the leader and manry-man released their big, burly Pokemon, Tai grinned. Koko may not have any tank-like Pokemon, but Tai had 3!
He hopped up and popped the upper half of his body out of the top of the tank, 3 Pokeballs in his hand. He thrusted them forward, releasing 3 ribbons of light to form:
Niko (Electivire), Hydrus (Eelektross), and Ryujin (Dragonite).
The three instantly went to work, helping the other Pokemon in any way they could, and having fun while doing it! I mean, how often do you get to destroy things and not get in trouble for it?
Exactly.
Koko soon popped up with her brother, looking around and letting the air blow through her hair, using a hand to tuck some of it behind her ear.
"I wanna help too~!" She whined, digging for a Pokeball.
"Get back inside, Usa-chan! It's too dangerous!"
Of course she wasn't about to listen.... She finally fished out a Pokeball and threw it up, releasing a flurry of hearts from the seal on the ball and revealing a shiny Lopunny.
"Go get 'em, Usako!" She cheered.
The Lopunny sprang into action, doing acrobatic martial arts, fighting the soldiers who were on foot, rather than hopping into vehicles. It was like watching one of those kung-fu movies! Koko's eyes sparkled as she watched the agile Rabbit Pokemon take down an entire army of people. It was deadly AND aesthetically pleasing!
At once, they men all collapsed simultaneously on the spot, and the happy rabbit hopped back to the tank, and was instantly recalled.
"Great job!" Koko giggled, then looked to her brother, who was still awestruck. His mouth agape as he tried to process what he had just seen. He had never seen Usako do such things..
"That... was... AWESOME!" He exclaimed, smiling broadly to his sister.
"I know." She winked and ducked back inside, finding her seat.

KYLE BOLLINGER "I wanna be the very best..." As the tank was rolling along the street, the peak of Mount Pyre was slowly coming into view. Kyle poked his head out of the hatch of said tank (after Koko and Tai were back inside of course), looking around to see what was all transpiring in the immediate vicinity. The largest and strongest of the team's Pokemon were busy duking it out against the grunts of Team Horizon, knocking them out left and right. The youngster considered sending out one of his own Pokemon to assist, but considering he was currently using Wally as a footstool and his other Pokemon were too small to help, all he could do was watch. Of course, Pliny was there too, mowing down anything that threatened to come near the tank with deadly precision. "Have at thee, vile fiends!" And yes, the talking Magnezone was having almost too much fun.
However, an enemy jeep was closing in behind the tank, out of Pliny's field of vision. Kyle lifted the helmet, which was partially obscuring his vision, and took note of the speeding vehicle. The lad looked back inside the tank, particularly at Snaps, who was patiently waiting for his trainer's orders. "Hey Snaps! Gimme somethin' I can throw at these guys, hurry!" The Croconaw saluted, then proceeded to look around the immediate area of the tank, quickly finding something that the boy could lob at the the grunts in the jeep. He handed Kyle the object, which resemble a small green pineapple, to which the boy shrugged and looked back up. "Huh, what's this do?" he said, pulling the metal pin at the top of the object. After a second or two of wondering, he shrugged again and tossed the green object at the vehicle, intending on smacking the driver. Instead, it simply landed in the backseat, to which the grunts responded with only a sigh before the entire back half of the jeep was blown off, effectively stopping it in its tracks as well as killing everyone in it.
Needless to say, Kyle was rather stunned with the results. Either way, it stopped the vehicle, so it worked out in the end. However, the boy heard a noise coming from the mountain, and he turned to see what was going on. He lifted his helmet from his eyes again, seeing what looked like an important member of Team Horizon at the base of the mountain, holding what seemed to be a glowing white orb in his hand above his head. In a matter of moments, the top of the mountain exploded, a pillar of blue flame erupting from its core. Kyle's mouth went agape and his eyes widened in wonder as he watched a huge white dragon appear from within the fire. As the flames dissipated, the beast known as Reshiram lifted itself from the peak, it's sapphire-blue eyes staring down hungrily, and roared as the air around it became distorted from the intense heat it was giving off. Kyle gulped and slowly ducked back into the tank, looking over at Seth's direction. "Uh, guys? We might have a problem..." "...that NO ONE ever was!"

ovO Samuel Mirrera Ovo -pokemon field researcher- "No #$@$#, Bollinger." Aisha - who was near the top of the tank, thanks to manning the gun on top of said vehicle - was well-aware of the Vast White Pokemon, i.e. Reshiram. Glancing around quickly, she saw Barrett assisting the group of Jackson and Seth's pokemon keep the Horizon grunts at bay. "Barrett!" She shouted. "Go back Domo(Seth's Snorlax) up, will ya?"
The Nidoking gave his brunette master a fanged and/or toothy grin, saluting. 'Ki~ing!' With that, he (literally)stormed off to help the (large)Sleeping Pokemon, poisoning any unfortunate Horizon grunt who got in his way(thanks to his ability, Poison Point).
Let's not forget about Samuel and Jester. "...You know something?" He was lining up the tank's radar system to focus on a few Horizon grunt vehicles, Jester perched on his shoulder.
'Zel.'
"I believe it says a lot about my line of work when I say that I'm actually intrigued about how Reshiram is going to destroy these Horizon gits." A pause. "Either that, or I'm under the influence of the sheer amount of adrenaline that this endeavor brings, Jester." A small smirk flashed across his face as Seth (presumably)used Samuel's lined-up radar to blast a few more Horizon vehicles out of existence.
"Your silliness is noted, Horizon." He nodded, mostly to himself.

It was almost as if Mt. Pyre had erupted, and Seth half-expected to see streams of magma surging down its banks towards them - but even as Reshiram climbed out of the crater, letting out a roar that nearly deafened anyone in the surrounding five miles with a radio. A massive explosion surged up behind the radiant white dragon, a mushroom cloud of fire, perfectly illustrating precisely what this legend did. Its eyes fixed upon the tank, upon the people that hadn't had time to evacuate the mountain's base before Horizon's arrival, and opened its mouth - before an ocean of flame began to bathe Hoenn, so incredibly hot that it burned blue, setting alight anything that would burn, creating a vision not unlike a sapphire sea of flame, so hot that the interior of the tank began to warm up even from this distance. Jackson felt his jaw go slack, even as his Pokemon surged forward, using any and all moves at their disposal to combat the fire. "We are so ******** . . ." The sound of the tank turret moving surprised him, and he looked across in time to see Seth aiming the main cannon directly at Reshiram's head. "What are you doing?!" Seth's face was grim, even as he pulled down on the cannon lever. "Getting his attention." The tank shell surged forward, hitting the Tao dragon in the mouth and sending it reeling slightly, before letting out another roar. Seth clambered out of the tank, reaching into his jacket for something before sliding out into the open. "I really hope this works . . ." He pulled out the Silver Wing, and focused all his thoughts on the Guardian of the Water . . . Lugia. Jackson took the driver's seat, even as he took in the growing glow of the Wing. "Come on, come on . . ." And then, a cry loud and fierce enough to rival Reshiram's, as a great white bird swept in overhead, summoned by the power of the Silver Wing and extinguishing great swathes of flame with a Hydro Pump. ". . . Huh. Maybe we're not ******** after all."

KITTO HITORI WA SABISHII... (Being on your own is surely lonely...)
The twins, after hearing all the commotion, quickly took control of the scope, using it at the same time with their faces pressed together. What they saw was, to say the least, a tad frightening.
Koko's face lit up as she grabbed some Pokeballs from her waist. "A fire-type! I told you I could help!!" She grinned wildly at her brother before climbing up and out of the tank. It was then that she saw the hydropump and whirled to see Seth. Not only did this kid have the balls to hit a legendary in the face with a tank, but he had a legendary of his own on his side!
This kid really was a prodigy!
As she slid down the side of the tank, planting her feet on the corner and holding on to what she could to stay on the tank and off the ground, she tossed out her team.
Umi hopped out of the tank and joined her, landing on the ground and began to appear as if she were dancing, causing the sky above where they were to turn dark and cloudy. Soon, rain began to fall. She had the storm controlled to their area only, so it wouldn't effect the other teams.
With the clouds they saw swirling in the distance, it didn't seem like Team 1 needed any help from the rain.
Before Tai had the chance to pull his sister back inside the safe tank, she was already gone. He stuck his head out of the tank only to be greeted by the cold rain.
Luckily for Tai, his Pokemon that was best suited for the job was already out. His Dragonite, Ryujin. Not only could he resist the fire, and deal out Stab'd Dragon moves. But he had Hurricane, which was useful in this weather.
As for Koko's Pokemon, she had released practically her entire water team. Shelli (Cloyster), Mandy (Mantine), Suzie (Quagsire), and Cissy (Starmie) were all in attendance. And with Umi keeping the constant Rain up, she was feeling pretty confident.

Aisha Walker >o> -Mahogany Town Gym understudy-
While the pop-star twins(Koko & Tai) were focused on their strategy that seemed to incorporate Rain, Aisha - and just for grins, Seth - were more focused on the fire that Reshiram was commanding from the top of Mt. Pyre. "What's that overgrown poodle's deal, anyway!?" Still manning the cannon that rested atop the M-1 Abrams tank, Aisha was now - literally, in her case - shooting down the enemy forces that were the Horizon grunts.
Barrett, meanwhile, was joined by Skinner(Aisha's Typhlosion), the fiery honey badger's ability(Flash Fire) rendering Reshiram's Fire-type attacks ineffective. 'Taah-Taah-Taah~ >w<' Skinner was snickering into his stubby, dark-green hands.
While Skinner was deflecting the fire, Barrett was continuing to tear through the Horizon foot-soldiers, having a bit too much fun with his own ability(Poison Point). 'Ki~ing!' When a fool-hardy group got close to him, he sent them directly into Reshiram's strike-range with a well-aimed Dragon Tail, meaning that a few - unfortunate... - grunts were set ablaze by the Vast White Pokemon's bright-blue flames.
"If we knew that, crazy sis--" Seth, meanwhile, was keeping Reshiram itself distracted, while Lugia wreaked his own havoc with Hydro Pump. "--then we wouldn't be fighting Reshiram right now; now would we?"
The elder Walker sibling rolled her brilliant blue eyes at her younger brother's words. "Says the one who deliberately fired upon a legendary pokemon."
He couldn't help the small smirk that flashed across his lips. "Would you rather that I fired on you instead?"
"Like you could hit me, Sethie-kins."
"And people wonder how we manage to stand each other."
"Tch, I know!" Ahh, sibling rivalry.
"..." Blinking bemusedly, Samuel glanced next to him at Jackson. "It's times like this that I'm glad Allison has you as an adopted brother." That warranted a chorus of 'We heard that!' from the Walker siblings. Chuckling to himself, Samuel returned to his radar duties.
(( to avoid any confusion, I asked Gromit/Henry for permission to use Seth in this post before-hand, so it's all good. :3 ))

'Behold the Majesty...' L - U - G - I - A Guardian Of The S E A S. Summoned by the power of the Silver Wing that his human - Seth - held, Lugia had utilized his impressive wing strength to get himself from his home in Johto's Whirl Islands, all the way to Hoenn. His Chosen had called upon him for his assistance, so that's what he was here to do. On his long journey to the southern region, he could've sworn that he saw a flash of yellow - Raikou - racing headlong across the land, in the same direction that he was going. Chuckling to himself, he mused that Raikou's human had called upon his assistance as well - from what he could sense, the Electric beast was heading for the area that the humans called Shoal Cave. While the name of the place alone intrigued him, he was here for one thing, and one thing only.
Assist his Chosen human.
And that's what he did.
Upon arriving at the mountain that the humans called Mt. Pyre, Lugia gently nudged Seth's mind with his Psychic powers, letting the young man known of his presence. That done, he set his brilliant brown(?) eyes on the one known as Reshiram, the Vast White Pokemon destroying the enemy humans' forces with its tremendously powerful Fire attacks. Naturally, he wasn't going to have this; rearing his head back as a bright ball of water formed in his open mouth, Lugia let loose Hydro Pump after terrifying Hydro Pump, extinguishing great swathes of flame each time. If Reshiram was going to fight anyone, it would be him.
And he was all too eager to fight back, with enough power to meet - and even exceed - the great Fire/Dragon. (( OOC: I'd like to thank Larson Morbidity Hearse, for the use of his format. *bows* :3 ))

The two stood in awe as Lugia began to attack the Firey Legend with a barrage of Hydro Pumps. The sight was.... magnificent!
With the help of the rain created by Umi, it made those Hydro Pumps all the more powerful, definitely putting the advantage in their court.
They could do this! They knew they could!
"Umi! Keep the rain going!" Koko gleefully commanded, and Umi nodded in compliance, continuing to dance to try and keep the rain going until the battle was through. "Everyone else, Attack!!" She said, pointing to Reshiram. She didn't specify what attacks they should use, so it gave them the freedom to choose. One after another, water attacks which paled in comparison to the barrage of Hydro Pumps came flying up, hitting the White Legendary from all sides.
Meanwhile, Tai hopped on Ryujins back and they took to the sky. "Ok, Ryujin... Hurricane!" Ryujin fluttered his wings, kicking up incredibly stron winds and gathering them up into a rather large funnel. With the rain, it was guarenteed to hit. It picked up rain and dirt and, with a pointing motion from the Dragonite, went slamming into Reshiram like a brick wall.
How much more could this guy handle!?
