Before I begin let me state that I am running Ubuntu version Lucid Lynx.

I was wondering, on a laptop, how do you change the battery life from percents to hours/ minutes on my distro, if you can. I find the percentages to be annoying at best.

It doesn't look like that's an option in gnome-power-management. You'd need to use a different battery monitor applet/utility to see the time remaining.
