*kore gripped issies hand tightly* " ill be okay, everything will be fine. ill be in good hands. they'll take good care of me. please, don't be sad about me. its going to be okay. the doctors will patch me up good as new." *he said softly trying to reassure her* *kore smiled at her* "you guys should get some rest after we get to the hospital. you've all been through a lot."

- Issie nodded. Kel scoffed. "But what if they find something? Your not exactillay human you know. And how are you and Ohen going to walk around town? You guys kindof stand out." Kel said fron the driver seat.

- Ohen nodded. "I have no idea what I must look like, but Im betting that I dont look very normal..." Ohen said fingureing the tip of his tail. Issie looked at him sadly. What was it like to not be able to see? Or never be able to fit in. Even if they tryed to hide his fetures... what would they do with his tail? It wasnt skinny enouph to hide in his pants, like a mokeys tail would. Kel smiled. "You know... we could dress him up in gloves, glasses, and shoes. Then we can chop off your tail..." Kel said grinning. Issies mouth droped open. How could Kel say that? She turned to Ohen, expecting to see him as shoked as she was, but instead he smiled.
"Ive already tryed that. It grows back in two days, and its as long as it was before." He fingured it again Remembering the day that the Labs tryed to remove his tail. It was horribally ugly. It was when the scales on his tail wernt as strong as they were now, but they were still diffacult. They sawed it off with a metil saw, the kind they use for demilition. And... he didnt want to remember the rest.
Issie glared at Kel. "Chopping his tail off is out of the qestion! Besides, I bet his scales are as strong as titanium alode now! We wouldnt be able to make a dent. We will just have to fing something else."

"as i said we will figure it out..just one step at a time " *kore glared at kel mad at him for being a smart a** * "you need to button your smart mouth before i button it for you." "im hurt but that dosent mean i dont got a free hand to correct that big mouth of yours. and its long due for a correction." *kore was getting aggravated by kels attitude it was time someone put him in his place but he was in no shape for an argument*

- Kel glared back. "You cant tell me what to do!" Kel said, swirving alittle, getting distracted. Issie snapped at him. "Shut up! Your going to get us killed!" Issie said.
Issie wanted to help in some way... maybe she could think of something that could cover up Kore and Ohens true self? She looked around the big van, not seeing anything that could help. She smiled at Reha and Neo who were infront of her, "helping" Kel drive. (Except for the fact that Kel kept yelling at them to shut up) Reha.... Issie jumped up. "Hey. Hey Reha! Can you make an illusion that will make Kore and Ohen look normal? And for a long time?" Issie asked. Reha smiled at her saying that of course she could. And before Issies eyes she saw Kore and Ohen change. Kore went from his overly huge mucles, too slimmer, human looking limbs. His eyes went from the power blue color to a normal brown. Ohen on the other hand needed alittle bit more adjsments. All of his scales were coverd up with skin, his white eyes turned hazel, and his tale completly dissapered. Issie could hardly belive how differnt they looked. "Wow... you guys look so... weard." Issie said almost mezmerized. Then she corrected herself. "Oh I didnt mean it that way its just...."
Ohen held up his hand. "Its ok... so I look humanish now?" Ohen said, feeling alittle upset about not being able to see. Issie smiled. "Yep." Ohen smiled back. He could always tell when some one smiled and frowned, and was angery by the tone of their voices.

*kore watched as his muscles slowly grew slimmer it made feel a little weaker but it was in his mind then anything* "i feel a little weaker but i think its all in my mind i look slimmer but i dont really feel any different..." *the effects of the blood thinner was starting to ware off in his system sooner. the blood thinner was starting to be less and less efficient as his system was building immunity to the drugs in the pills* *blood was starting to slowly gush from his wounds, in his body and face and from a few small gashes and scrapes on his head. his bandages were starting to get damp and turning red some of his blood was spilling onto the seat and floor. his skin was getting a little paler .he was getting a little delirious from blood loss* "the red stuff is supposed to stay inside...." *he shook his head* "some of these wounds arnt going to close up on their own....i might need surgery." *he grabs one of his wounds to try to put pressure on it. he was gasping for air as he tryed to breathe.*

-Ohen nodded. "I was worryed that this might happen..." Ohen said, rubbing his eye lids. Issie turned to her brother. "Kel hurry!" Kel nodded from the front seat. "Where is the nearest hospitial again Roy?" He asked turning on the paved roauds and weaving through trafic. He was soooo going to get pulled over. Roy pointed and followed his road directions. He was 50 over the speed limit. Finally they saw the top of a medium sized hospital. Kel pulled up to the front. Issie jumped out of the car to get help.
She ran in up to the front desk. The resepion woman gasped. This lovely young girl was coverd in blood and crying. "Dear Lord are you alright child?" The Lady said. Issie nodded. "Im fine but this isnt my blood! My friend is out there in our van! Hes seriously injured, bleeding badly. Please hurry!" Issie cryed. Puting on her sweetest face and lightest tears so that she would hurry. The woman nodded and called someone. She stood behind the desk. "A ambulance crew is on their way to pick him up." Issie saw five men and two other ladys run from a door to the front, only to meet Roy and Kel with Kore between them at the door. Roy handed over Kore, he too was coverd in blood and bandages. The people quickly took Kore and put him on a strecher, rolling him away. Issie wanted to follow him she called for him in her mind to be alright, but a Dr. with fluffy eyebrows stopped her at the door. "Im sorry little miss. You have to wait here for your friend. But you..." The Dr, with the fluffy eyebrows said, looking at Roy. "Can you explain to me how this happend?" Roy nodded and stood as Ohen and Neo came into the hospital, followed by Luna and Reha. Everyone waited in the waiting room, most of them were coverd in blood from Kores spill. Roy came back and nearly everyone stood up. Issie walked up to him. "What did you say? Tell us everything..." Roy sat down next to Neo. "I said that we were on a family vacation out in the Nabraska wilderness. When we were out hikeing, I came back for refreshments, but only to see our camp in shambles and a wild animal stealing our food. But because I have such bad eye sight I dont know what that animal was and that all of you were still out hikeing, except for Kore, who is Josh here, who stayed in camp because of a twisted anckle and a broken arm from pervious soccer games. And he was attacked by the beast." Roy said, elbows on his knees. "We are all the Smiths family right now. Just for backup...." Ohen spoke up. "How on Earth are we going to pay for all of this?! You know hospitals are not free?" He said, his face in his hands. Issie leand over. "Are you alright?" He halfwy looked at her with his artifishally colored eyes. "Yes I... no Im not!" Ohen said in his hands again. He was shakeing. "What is it? You can tell us." Issie said. Ohen shook his head at her, face still in his hands. "The smell. The feeling..... its giveing me a head ace!" He shouted, but it was muffled by his hands, so it sounded like just normal talking. Issie looked down at the tile floor. "Whats worse is that its on my eyes. The head ace I mean... Damn why cant they hurry up and treat Kore?? I could of stiched him up three thousand times fast!" Ohen said truely agravated. Issie could agree with him though he probly was that fast. He was just worryed, like everyone else. She felt tinglings on her body were there were tiny aces and pains. She knew that thats were Kore ingurys were, and they must be doing something...

*kore layed there strapped in the stretcher as it moved away he breifly saw issie tryed to follow him but was stopped he heard her in his mind saying to be okay, he replied faintly "theyll put me back together again,dont worry. thank you all....for everything." *he gurgled loudly as it was getting harder to breathe his blood was leaking onto the stretcher as the nurses were putting pressure on his wounds.* he could faintly hear doctors shouting orders to each other. "his blood pressure is dropping we need to get him stabilized stat!." "my god, his lungs are filled with blood..." "get the surgery room and the IV and blood packs ready nurses. NOW!" "sh*t were losing him! come on buddy, stay with us. come on, come on,wake up!" *they were hooking kore up to machines that measured his heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, etc.* "we will put him on more fluids when we get to surgery." *one of the doctors said* *kores vision was getting more blurry and everything was getting darker, he was slipping into unconsciousness as his body fell limp his eyes slowly shut.as the doctors pushed his stretcher deeper and deeper down the hallway towards surgery* (ill describe the operation in my next post)

- Issie was leeping on the chair. It had been a long time sence she had gotten some sleep. She woke to find herself in a hospitle and almost freaked out that she was alone, when she saw everyone. Kel was looking at the Soul Eaters neckles, Reha and Neo were asleep together, Luna was looking out the window, Roy had gis elbows on his knees, his head hanging low, like he was consintrateing on something, and Ohen was fast asleep next to her, slightly drooling on his sleeve. Issie giggled. It was too bad Kore wasnt here and well. Issie tuched her heart. For a breaf moment it felt like Kores connection was getting weaker. Issie closed her eyes.... hey you ok?... Un asked. Issie nodded. ... It dosnt look like it. Buck up. Waching you cry all the time is starting to ware off on me... Un said sounding sad as well. Was if because of Whity? What happend to him anyway?
Whity awoke in an ambulance outside of the Labs. Everything was in caous! BMs and nurses and Drs were running around with wounded and stone fragments. Whity stood, though the Drs near him told him otherwise, he ignored them. He walked out amunced the trouble and grabbed a BM by the arm. "What is going on?" He asked seriously. The BM shook his head. " It was a bomb Sir. The whole west side was ebliterated and 56 are wounded and 12 are dead..." The BM trailed off. Whity shook him. "And what of my father?" Whity asked. The BM just stared at him. Whity shook him harder. "Tell me soilder!" The BM nodded. "Im sorry sir. But he was killed by a falling boulder." The BM said. Whity let go of the man and rubbed his forhead. "The.. the prisoners?" He asked. The BM nodded to answer, but Kat came up instead. "The prisoners are being moved to Bace 13." She said. Whity smiled alittle. "Hello capitan." Kat nodded. "Hello Head Callaberater." Kat said salooting him. That was right. With his father gone Whity was next in line." Right...." Kat nodded. "So whats your first order as the Head?" She asked. Whity paused. "Move everyone to Bace 13 untill further instructions." He said geting alittle overwhelmed by the fact that he was now in charge. There was no one to stand in his way.

*as the doctors get kore into the surgery room they cleaned his wounds and prepared to operate on him* *they started hooking him up to small two blood packs and a IV he felt a little p***k as the needles went into his arm he cringed a little as the needles went in. the tubes started to slowly pump the blood and IV from the packs and enter kores arm starting to flow through his veins* "control the dosage he gets change the blood packs if case they get empty we cant make any mistakes!" *a doctor said* *they soon inserted an oxygen and clearance tube down kores throat he gagged loudly as it went slowly down his throat and into his lungs kore started to cringe violently as he felt the blood being sucked out of his lungs. the nurses came and held him down as the doctor gave him a small sedative and hooked him on a morphine pack that went into his other arm * "that should keep him calm and knocked out until we get done" *the doctors soon pick up their tools and start planning on what they were gonna do*

- Issie was asleep again, but this time, somehow, right next to her brother. And he was holding her hand. Kel was fast asleep, head leaning twards her own. He had felt it too, and even though Kel would never admit it, he was worryed about Kore. Issie smiled at him. She looked around at the hospital. It was dark out, they had been there all day. She saw Roy in the same position as he was before. Elbows on knees, head hanging, hideing his face. Was he sleeping?
Roy had been focusing on the operation for what seemed like hours. He read the memorie and thoughts of the operation of the main Dr. Roy was getting tired, but he refuzed to sleep. He had to see Kore out of this. They didnt seem to be getting to him at times, but in the end they were succesful. Roy smiled sleepishly. The nurse came in 30min after Kores op. Roy stood just as she enterd the waiting room. She paused. " Josh is fine now. He is resting in room 656 if you would like to see him tomarrow." Issie stood up too. "Can we see him now? Please?" She begged. The lady shook her head and Roy hugged Issie. "Its alright. Hes ok now. We can see him later when hes feeling alittle better." Roy said. Turning to the nurse he smiled. " We'll see ya bright an early tomarrow then Miss!" Roy said winking at the nurse. She blushed. Roy woke up Reha and Neo, Luna, Kel, and tryed to wake up Ohen without succeding untill Roy shook his head around. "Ok! Im awake already! Trying to give me even more of a head ace?" Ohen grumbled. Issie smiled and took his hand. He truged on wearaly. "So where are we going?" Ohen asked. "The parking lot." Roy said. Ohen tilted his head. "We will be spending the rest of the night in the van...." Roy said. "What! But its coverd in blood!" Ohen said astonished that he would even mention that van. Roy frowend. "Well if you dont like it then sleep somewhere else!" Roy said. Ohen glared in the air. "Fine. I will." And he marked off into the city without Issie.
She felt alittle hurt by him just walking away without her, and she was going to follow him when Roy stopped her. "Just give him some time to cool down Is. He'll be fine in the mornin'." He said smileing. She nodded and walked into the van. Kel was already in there, so she sat next to him. After an hour she couldnt sleep. Too many thing were worrying her. Kel was sleeping next to her, and Issie layed down and put her head in his lap. He looked down at her, and she looked back at him. He smiled alittle. "Hey there Is. Dont worry so much, he will be ok. Everythings going to be ok." He said strokeing her hair. Issie loved that feeling. And soon, she drifted into sleep.
Whity was walking around checking how things were going when Kat went up to him. "So sir. With the former Head gone... what are we going to do?" She asked. Whity frowned. "Im going to continue what my family has started..." He scoweld. Which would mean he would have to iqiure them.

*kore was unconscious after the operation his body still shut down from severe from blood loss the small sedative he was given was going to keep him knocked out for a small while. he was cleaned up a little but he still looked so beaten up and a little bloody he had purple and black bruises all over his body and face, along with a few broken bones like his ribs, arm , and leg, broken shoulder and collar bone, and a badly dislocated shoulder with a pinched nerve and torn muscles that had been received .that are in the process of healing from the battle. along with his stitched and tightly bandaged wounds. his left arm was completely broken and put into a cast with a sling. along with his right leg which had a compound fracture that was stitched, bandaged tightly,and put into a cast he was lucky that his broken arm and leg or any of the broken bones or damaged muscles weren't going to effect him permanently and are healing very slowly. * *the doctors transferred him to a recovery room the nurses hooked him back up on to the machines that measured his heart rate, heart beat, blood pressure, body temperature, etc. and they started hooking him up to blood packs and a IV again they also put the oxygen mask on over his face for him to breathe better. he breathed at a slow,peaceful, steady pace. as a nurse injected his arm with another shot of sedative and morphine to keep him relaxed and resting.* *"if hes ever awake, without morphine at least." the doctors said. "he would be in unimaginable pain." they said to the nurses* *he was still very pale skinned but he was stabilized at last to recover*
