As you all know I recently made a servitor for this guild to use, named Xonix. His info can be found in another thread, so look it up if you need to. You may be asking yourself "soilwork, there are plenty of other entities to pick, why did you pick a weaker entity like Xonix" and I shall explain! A friend and I wanted to try evoking a non-necronomicon entity in the standard necronomicon fashion. We didn't want to choose something powerful from the goetia, so we decided on Xonix.

Here is how the ritual went:

We both took ceremonial salt baths and doned our ceremonial black robes as instructed by the necronomicon. The circle was a double circle made of flour with the seals of the gates at each quarter which were also made of flour. In the center of the circle we had our alter which had the copper dagger of Inanna and the seal of Xonix placed upon it, as well as 3 black candles for illumination. The bowl for the watcher was placed inbetween the two circles with a loaf of fresh bread in it.

We then lit the offering to the watcher and recited the conjuration of the fire god, and the thing it says to recite when offering to the watcher. We then preformed the calling of the watcher, the moment the conjuration was done all insects within the area immediatly stopped making any noise, this was a VERY strange silence that my friend and I found most scary. After about 30 seconds I got a visual of the watcher, to me he appeared as a bald man with a black robe, i did not see feet so i can only assume he was floating, he made a gesture with his hand and 4 swords came to the quarters and remained for the duration of the ritual. I attempted to ask the watcher questions, he did not respond to any of them. He had a never end gaze he NEVER took his eyes of us not even for one second. My friend got no visual but felt like he was being watched and felt a VERY distinct presence.

Having given the watcher his task, I started to chant Xonix's name for about 3-5 minutes. I gave the initial call, but that did not work. So i chanted his name a bit more and called him to come by his creators name (WOOO ME!). He then came to the edge of the circle at the norther quarter and just stood there, he made no attempt to attack or break the circle, I attribute this to the watcher being there. I asked Xonix a few questions. Dialogue follows.

Me:Xonix where have you been drawing energy from?
Xonix:From those who look at my sigil, i gain power with each look, also those prayers made in my name. I however rarely have more energy, I'd like more
Me: You will not recive it from me. Next question.

Me: Very well, I have a favor to ask of you
Xonix: What favor is that?
Me: A co-worker has been giving a friend of mine some trouble, think you can take care of this?
Xonix: ma *I interupt*
Me: You MUST not hurt me, my family, my friends, or anyone else I care about in a physical, mental, or astral way. If you touch anyone I care about I will ******** destroy you, you son of a b***h.
My friend: Hey, that was a bit harsh don't you think?
Me: No! Xonix give me your answer.
Xonix: Yes, I will do it without hurting anyone.

I suddenly needed a break and let my friend go ahead.

**I then got a mental image of someone being stabbed in the stomach and being disembowled**

My friend proceeded to ask him a few questions about his love life and what woman was right for him and so on, I will not share it because it's personal.

I feel that I must state here that I was strangely mad at Xonix, maybe because he is made from the element of fire it made me mad, but I have never acted that way towards a spirit before. I cannot fully explain why I said what i did, but he seemed to get the message. I have seen the person I asked punished, get their punishment I was most suprised because it was only two days later. I did apologize to the poor guy later, but I still did mean what I said.

Ok anyway I can give you a small description of what Xonix manifested as to me. He was a humanoid figure, obviously on fire. He had no distinguishable features. He remained calm and collected throughout the entire ritual even when being threatened. Which I did not expect at all, I fully expected a confrontation.

So there is account of summoning Xonix, let me know what you think! I would actually reccomend beginners try to summon him, he is very nice.

Heh, I have no idea.... Draw him, stick him on the front page, and declare him as our mascot? ^_^;

Lol I doubt that he'd mind his name getting out there, now that it has been said i'm becoming fond of the idea. That would be a good gimmick for us! Xonix the firery demonic magister of the templi rex deamon prince order...bear! I love it!
