Southern Island
DESCRIPTION -
Although not actually a physical part of Hoenn, Southern Island is still considered as part of the region, lying just south of Hoenn's southern-most point. A lush, tropical Island, it is only reachable by the ferry boat S.S.Tidal, which sets sail from Lilycove City. Upon reaching the Island, one will encounter a winding, tropical forest, which will ultimately lead them to a small lake in the middle, which boasts but a single (smaller)Island. It is said that one of the two Eon Dragons will be on the small(er)Island, depending on the nature of the human that sets foot on Southern Island.
LOCATION -
Southern Island, as its name suggests, is located in southern Hoenn. Tied with Dewford Town, it serves as the region's southern-most point.
PEOPLE -
Not a single human soul resides on this Island, save for the cheerful Sailor who has ferried you here from Lilycove City. And you, of course, should you happen to venture here.

The evidence of human life is practically scarce on this Island, save for a pair of signs. Rumor has it that these signs are hinting towards the two Eon Dragons that reside here, only one of which will show itself to you...
MYTH/LORE -

The above lines are rumored to depict the mannerisms of the two Eon Dragons that reside on Southern Island, Latias and Latios. Noted as having human-like intelligence, the two Dragons are rumored to be rather social legendaries, unlike most of their brethren. According to legend, Latias and Latios guard an item known as the Soul Dew, which is said to amplify their own abilities. Will you be lucky enough to find it?
