Imma say this again: THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW, TURN BACK IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN THE FILM AND WANT TO!

Yes, I liked the first movie. Yes, I liked the second movie despite some of it's flaws. I don't care what you think. I don't care what Roger Ebert thinks (I stopped listening to him when he started bad mouthing video games) if he doesn't like these kinds of movies then why does he continue to watch them? All I care about is what I think, the only critic you can truley trust is yourself.

And I can say that this is definately the best of these live-action Transformers movies and sadly it looks like the last one. (till some idiot decides to give it an uneeded reboot).

Like the previous films, this one has a lot of humor in it, but very little is drug or sex related. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is actually way better then Megan Fox (who had to go back to her home planet and died on the way (No, I'm only kidding)) There was no writer's strike to hurt the devolopment. The special effects and action scenes are very spectacular. But what really makes this one good is the second half of the movie.

Don't get me wrong, the first half is good, I just find the second half to be a lot better, basically it is very dark, exciting and emotional, much like watching a war movie. This movie also has a very surprising plot twist and I actually felt genuinly shocked when certian characters died (especially Ironhide). Even more shocking was how daring the movie was, they show the Decepticons directly killing humans, literally chasing them and shooting them down like dogs. I was literally on the edge of my seat while watching this movie, which doesn't happen often.

But, there were still some things that bugged me. Ken Jeong's character was sort of annoying, I felt like some of the newer characters weren't given the screen time they deserved *cough*Shockwave*cough*, Why is Mirage called 'Dino'? Why is Wheeljack reffered to as 'Q'? Why is Bill O'Riely in this movie?

But apart from that. I still quite enjoyed Transformers: Dark of the Moon. I got what I needed from it: Simple, fun entertainment. Besides isn't that what movies are supposed to be?

Final Rating: 8.5 out of 10

I really enjoyed the first movie. Absolutely hated the second, the third movie was better than Revenge of the Fallen, but was still way behind the first.

Admittedly I did not like the final battle in Chicago, not that it was bad, but for the climax of a film, it just dragged on, and on, and on, and on. I love watching Optimus Prime kick butt, but after I while I seriously got to a point where I was thinking to myself, "Just finish the damn movie."

Overall, much better than the second film, not nearly as good as the first.
