Turoome.
In the great grassy fields of the Mitis Volublis plains sits a great plateau. Here live a race of curious, intelligent, and crafty bull people known as the Minotaurs.
In the center of the plateau sits a huge, great city of skycrapers that are made of glass, metal, and liquid stone which reach up into the skies. It is decorated with art of master metalwork that are spread through the city. However, it is not the art that is the most impressive; it is the clockwork and steamwork feats; like Steam shuttles which ferry people from one district to the next, and one can always hear the sound of hammer on metal on anvil, no matter what the hour.
In the heart of this great city sits the Palace; a huge metal complex in which the royals live. It is an immense network of towers, with the greatest in the center, a huge clocktower that dwarfs even Big Ben by thre times. Before it sits the Great courthouse, where the Minotaur Council sits; It's architecture carved with fine white marble that makes the Neogreek architecture gleam in the light of the sun. Here the Minos Council sits and confers with the king about the current matters of the day and make decisions upon them.
To the north sits a huge arena, where aspiring merchants seek to show off their wares by sponsoring warriors who catch their eye-- in hopes that this will make demand for their product rise.
Then there is the collage of Minos, one of the largest collections, if not THE largest, collections of knowledge in the known world.
In each district there are theaters for human arts, and practitioners of these arts are highly sought after.
The Minos take great care of their architecture; even the oldest of buildings have been maintained.
Beyond the city walls, you will find, surprisingly for a race that values metal so much... farms. Fields of wheat make parts of the landscape an endless sea of gold. There are also vineyards, where rows of greens and purples signal great grapevines. And then there are small swaths of land covered in small boxes which swarm with bees, and are tended by Taurens in large beekeeper suits.
