The Morgan household has been passed through a lot of generations, each time being remodeled to their own liking. Each generation left s big sum of money for the next generation, though Alex's father was a very high rank in the ministry, her older brother Henry is a professional Quidditch player for the Irish Quidditch team, her mother worked as a journalist for the daily prophet, and her other brother James being and auror let the family have great wealth. The house is located in a quiet part of Wales.

When Alex got home she went straight to her room, putting all her stuff in the closet, she was glad to be home though she knew she was going to miss Hogwarts for the summer. After playing some pool with Henry she heard someone entering the house and she ran over to see who it was. She saw her mother in the front door and Alex went to give her a hug. They talked for a little bit about how Alex had been. After a while her father and other brother, James, arrived and she went to greet them.

The next day Alex spent hanging out with her family, playing a lot of Quidditch, practicing guitar in the guitar room, watching movies, and swimming. She was so happy to be back though she was wondering where William was, William was her best friend, they had known each other since they where little, he was also a wizard but his parents had sent him to Durmstrang. Alex walked over to James and smiled "hey James have you heard anything about William?" she asked him, kind of embarrassed
James laughed "sorry kiddo but i heard he was going on vacation to America for a couple of weeks but was going to be back in the middle of the summer" he said smiling, knowing that his little sister had always had a crush on her oldest friend
Alex nodded, trying not to sound disappointed "oh, alright, well talk to you later James" she said walking to her room
