Breeding is not a strict subject in the Kizi, but there are a few rules and social concepts you'll want to be aware of before you go ahead and start spawning all those cute little babies.
Please understand that this is not a thread to restrict anyone from breeding, but simply to:
¤ Put all of the breeding rules in one place for easy access.
¤ Keep up with who is breeding so we can keep the memberlist up-to-date.
¤ Ensure that everyone who breeds has changed their name according to pride custom.♥ If you plan on breeding within the pride, please be aware of the following ♥:¤ If your Kizingo member was born into the pride and has not chosen a gypsy name, it will not be allowed to breed until it does so. For a gypsy name to be counted, it must be changed on the cert.
¤ Members born before March 3, 2010 are not held to the naming rule.
¤ If your member has a litter and you do not post it in this thread with all of the info required, then we will prevent you from having another litter until you do.
¤ Rogue breeding is allowed.
¤ Flings are allowed.
¤ Adolescent breeding is allowed (as long as parents have gypsy names), however life-mating is only allowed at adulthood. Please see the culture info for more details on that.
¤ Breeding between lions and non-lion felines is allowed but it should be kept as an uncommon thing. We have to maintain a 90% ratio of lions to non-lions so these relationships should be few and far between.♫ Rules for Mix-and-Match months: ♫¤ You are allowed to enter your Kizi member in these.
¤ You do not need permission to enter, but you must still post your litter in the appropriate thread when it arrives.
¤ Remember that the rules for cubs have changed! ALL cubs must stay with the moter until they are old enough to leave. Once a cub reaches adol, please make a note of their leaving or their gypsy name in the member update list.
¤ Please remember that we have to maintain a 90% ratio of lions. We ask that you not allow hybrids during the mix and match. Plotted relationships between a lion and a non-lion feline is fine. Mix and match, we discourage it.If you are ready to breed then please post this form here. Once you post, you may immediately start trying for a breeding. You do not need our permission, we just like to have this info to be sure the parents are rightful adults.

○ [b]Are all offspring staying within the pride?[/b] (IF you are having the offspring leave, please make a note of it in the member update thread!)
