The Ithilwen Edifice is where Kalle Ithilwen currently resides. The home is luxurious, calm and earthen, and can be found in the forests of Northern Ireland. It is high in the dense canopy of trees, and, of course, enchanted to have a much larger interior than may appear. Included in the house are a kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, bathroom, large personal library, and a living room that also serves as an entrance hall. A small trail leads from the house to a nearby waterfall.

The house was built by Kalle long ago, around the time she discovered the Order of the Phoenix. She enchanted and designed everything in it, all with the forests of her home in mind.

Upon entering the house, there is a large, open sitting room. To the right is the library, which has a small, narrow staircase leading up to the second floor. Past the sitting room is a wide, open hallway which runs to the end of the house, where there is a second staircase leading up to the second floor. The hall continues to the right, where it meets the dining room at the end. It also connects to the bathroom and kitchen, the latter of which is between the dining room and the bathroom.
Up the library stairs is the rest of the library, which connects to a large music room containing a grand piano, an entire wall of sheet music, and various other cased instruments. Up the hall stairs there is another, smaller hallway. To one side is Sophia's bedroom, and at the end is the slightly larger bedroom of Kalle.

Residents of Ithilwen Edifice include Sophia, a distant niece of Kalle's, who recently moved in to stay with her for the summer. A fox named Dinfaroth stays in her home at night and wanders where he pleases throughout the day. Although he is wild, he is somewhat of a pet to her. Occasionally, Kalle's other pets Lorhiril and Aran may visit as well, and Silmewen, her owl, comes and goes as Kalle does for the school year.
