If my theory is right, all the names we were given are actually names of anime characters, just not ones from Death Note, which makes this a hilarious crossover multi-verse game.

Also, Google your "real" names, and post back with one thing: How awesome is your character? Cause mine is pretty sweet. Just Sayan.

If anyone is curious, I picked the names by RNG from a long list that I made of anime/game/movie characters, obscurer Death Note characters, and then some chintzy celebrities, western animation and random literature references for joke names. mrgreen

My real name was Shingen Kishitani.
Looked them up, and it's a badass dude in a gasmask.

Now that you mention it, giving out your "real" name as a clue could have been a pretty easy strategy to clue the Eyes in on who you are. It's something that at least one person can trace, but it's not like the other roles can do anything with it.

My real name was Maki Nikaido. I was another shinigami with the Eyes. I actually had to look up the name and saw it was from one of the Death Note movies.
