Time for another contest. A building one this time round.
For this contest you are required to build a residential home on the provided foundation in any style you wish.
RULES
-The contest is open to players of both Sims 2 and Sims 3 on PC (or Mac).
-Sims 3 players must download the provided foundation and place it on a 30x30 lot.
-Any Sims 2 players must recreate the foundation exactly on a 30x30 lot themselves as we don’t have a Sims 2 version premade unfortunately.
-You may NOT alter the foundation in any way other than wall and floor coverings.
-The two separate foundation ‘islands’ at the back of the lot must remain unconnected to the rest of the foundation. What you do with them is up to you.
-The hose may have as many floors as you wish.
- NO custom content is allowed. I want to see what you can come up with using just items available in game. Any default replacements you have may still be used. Store items and official EA content DO NOT count as CC.
-Building cheats may be used.
-The lot MUST be placed so that the two foundation ‘islands’ are towards the back of the lot, furthest from the road. As shown in the picture below.
REQUIRED IMAGES
To submit your entry you must include a minimum of one (1) external picture taken from the street and one (1) showing the rear of the building. Any additional pictures you wish to show off are welcome. Contest entry pictures should be submitted to THIS thread.
PRIZES
1st place: Any cash item up to the value of 225 Gaia cash and a plumbob for your avatar.
2nd place: 3000 gold
3rd place: 1000 gold
4th place: 500 gold
5th place: 250 gold
DEADLINE
1st of September 2011. So plenty of time to work on your entries and get them in.
JUDGING
Judging will be held by myself and the guild crew members.
