You, a soldier, are about to embark upon the journey of the century. Or the decade if time moves fast for you. As a gesture of... ahem good will, the Hong Empire has graciously offered to host one of their most celebrated festivals on neutral ground between the two kingdoms!
Of course, with people from all affiliations coming in from the for corners of the continent, security is sure to be a nightmare. For this reason, all three powers have been requested by the neutral territory to lend some soldiers to provide adequate security. As one of the soldiers being sent to make sure everyone has a good time (including yourself), how are you going to carry out your duty?
A. Man the entrance! Stop those trouble makers before they can make it through!
B. Disguise yourself as one of the attendees. People let their guard down when they know no one's watching.
C. Crowd control. Help attendees go to where they need to be and answer questions!
D. Stand by. Uhm. . .Stand around and wait for emergencies to happen?

You suggest this to one of your commanding officers during the briefing. He gives you a brief stare before snorting. “Yeah sure. That sounds uh... amusing. Go for it, soldier.” You take that as good an okay as any. How will you disguise yourself?
A. A mask and cloak! No one will realize you're a soldier in that get up. It'll also be perfect for concealing your weapon in case things get out of hand.
B. Civilian clothing! Although not as easy to hide a weapon, some knives and a dagger would suffice.

Nothing too sketchy to attract attention.

You report for duty in civilian clothing (but you've kept your identification, of course) and mingle amongst the crowd. Of course, to play your role correctly, you act the enthusiastic festival goer and play all sorts of games. Eat all sorts of food. In fact, you have so much fun that you completely neglect your duties. Your area of the festival has had more purse snatching than any other and your captain has come to investigate. And what does he see? You happily throwing a game of darts. He immediately grabs you and kicks you into the security tent with a promise of retribution. Looks like that failed spectacularly. Try again?

Way to be proactive, young soldier. Behavior like that will surely get you flying through the ranks in no time! But let's get back to the present shall we? It's ten minutes before the festival opens to the public. Crowds numbering in the thousands are waiting anxiously for the doors to be swept open. And then, you knew this would happen of course, some yells 'The gates are open!' A murmur ripples through the crowd. And then one poor civilian tries to bust his way in. What do you do?
A. Distraction! Distraction!
B. Get in his way by standing in front of the door.
C. Bar his way with the hilt of your sword.

A. Distraction! Distraction!
No need to confront the civilian too harshly.

Uh. Uh. Uh. You quickly take out your swords, tell everyone to stand back and do an elaborate sword dance. Well, elaborate to the audience anyway. You're really just flourishing your sword fancily. In any case, it seems that the crowd is fascinated, dare I say impress?, with your sword handling. Yay! And in time, the doors open and every crowds through. Except now you need to deal with making sure each festival goer shows their ticket!
A. Why, stand in front of the arch and demand to see their ticket, of course.
B. You and your colleagues demand that everyone forms three orderly lines.
C. Wait. What? You're just guarding the entrance! The actual running of the event has nothing to with you!

Ahaha! XD; It gets stranger?
You bark out variations of “ticket, please!” with your hand held out. And this goes on interrupted until a hand clamps down firmly on your soldier. You are about to angrily yell at the hand's owner until you see that he is a Hong. He curses in his language before telling you: “Who tell you to get ticket? Not your job! Get out here if you not doing your actual job!” And then some Hong soldiers come to relieve you. Looks like you weren't much help! Try again?
