I think you mean Kabul, and no I wouldn't. It wouldn't end the war. The Taliban and Al Qaeda are spread throughout Afghanistan, so dropping a nuke would only cause civilian causalities. The Taliban and Al Qaeda don't care if the people of Kabul died anyways. These are the people who would strap bombs to their chests to kill people after all. Now if you want to drop that nuke on Tehran, Islamabad, Beijing, Pyongyang, I'm all for that, as opposed to nuclear weapons as I might be.

Dropping a nuke definitely wouldnt be the best solution in my perspective, quite possibly the worst. Our government, and those of many other countries have been working really hard to rid the world of nuclear weapons. Dropping a nuke would hurt many inocent people, damage the environment, and quite possibly aggravate the war to a whole new level, a level involving other countries, issues, and dangers.

Nuclear weaponry and its usage on any sort of city is never a good idea. Even involving countries that are 'bad' in our context, the use of nuclear weapons (or conventional attacks) only serves to deepen the strife between governments and between people. It is not the people at large that are the problem, but the worthless politicking, bureaucratic tape, and misplaced bias of the governments in place and the differences between them that are the problem. Change the governments (on both ends) and you can usually fix the problem. Movements that have no cause anymore, like terrorist organizations, eventually die off.
The United States needs to address its own problems before it turns on helping other nations, however. That's the kind of thing that gets us into this mess in the first place.

No, I meant the Kabaa, you know, the religious monument in Mecca

Wouldn't that just piss off a lot of people, instead of doing any good?

We're at war in Afghanistan. Dropping a nuke on Mecca would be silly since we're not at war there. It would just destroy a religious monument.

As much as I hate the Middle East (excluding Israel), we're stuck being allies with those countries because of oil exports and the war.

Beyond upsetting the nations of the Middle East, there are followers of Islam everywhere. In many nations in Europe it is the second largest religious following and in the US alone there are around seven million followers - most followers of Islam are no different from you except in what they worship. In actuality, only about a fifth of the Muslim population resides in the Middle East - the far majority is in Asia.
