Memory had been wandering for a while now, the ink upon her pelt had dried leaving the beautiful markings of rememberance behind. Yet, as the sun shone with all it's might Memory found she couldn't bring herself to be upset. She knew in her heart that those she had lost would want her to be happy, want her to move on with her life and have fun. Her new friend Sebastian had done a lot to help her heal, he was a complicated creature who had shook up her world and opened her eyes to the new possibilities around her. Out here no one knew her, she could be anything she wanted, reinvent herself any way she chose; not that Memory planned on being anything but herself.... but still the idea was a nice one. To wake up one day as someone else, a more confident and outgoing creature, a creature not held back by tradition and duty.

She sighed and looked around for her little hawk friend, he had flew off ahead as usual; 'scouting' he called it but Memory had the feeling he was hiding something. Maybe he had a family or something? Or maybe he simply liked to be on his own from time to time? She could understand that, some times it was nice for alone time.... yet at other times, all she wanted was someone else there. They wouldn't have to talk to her.... but their presence would soothe her soul.

"Sebastian?" She called, her heart starting to race in a panic. He didn't usually disappear for this long, in fact he was often speedy or at least in her line of sight so that she didn't worry too much.... yet now. Nothing. She moved uneasiely on her hooves as she continued to search for him. "Sebastian..... Sebastian...!" She continued to call, her voice getting more and more stressed as her search came up empty.

Then she heard a sound..... a rustle nearby. Curiously her ears peeked up at the sound. Could it be Sebastian? Memory turned to investigate.
