You heard me right, Castlevania is being turned into a movie and its being directed by the one who did residant evil. sad

Hopefully this guy wont mess up CV. I mean the first RE movie was good for it's time then the RE2 movie they got beside themselves and it was a horrible piece of crap. Maybe they'll do good on CV but no sequels after that. scream

Resident Evil wasn't as bad as people say it is. The first one was way cool. I liked the movie, probably cuz I never played the game! xd Just as long as they make Castlevania awesome like Underworld or an R-rated Van Hellsing. And a very very hot w/ awesome costume guy. Also they better not make a weenie dracula. (yeah, Van Hellsing's Dracula was a weenie, that's what I think.)

I'm glad that there's going to be a Castlevania movie but I'd rather see konami producing it instead. And will this movie stick to the Castlevania storyline? I wonder if Alucard will make an appearance. hehehehe

Who knows, the movie may turn out to be good. As long as it isn't cheaply made.

no real movies except adult movies are cheaply made, they get a big budget but with many of these videogame movies and some other movies, they just can't act or the script is written to be cheezy unintentionally gonk

the way the movie is to work is, it will be one belmont only and a dracula battle. it will have the journy and possiabley all bosses. we're in for on hell of a ride.

For comparison, let's use Richter.

Let's say they take Richter. And instead of his normal outfit give him a S&M Bondage whip, a muscle shirt and cargo pants (all black.) Then instead of saying the usual lines of coolness, being a whole asstard about it. "What did the two lesbian vampires say to each other? See you in 28 days." Or trying to play the badass, ooooh I'm a mean person, I have a tragic past, they made me angsty instead of a** kicking goodness.

Why don't they be smart and just make a Animated CV movie that would fit the series more rather than a live action movie. Animated might take longer but hey it would be pretty awsome and wouldnt require actor - character look alikes. All they would have to do is draw it up and find some good voice actors. Japanese voice actors would be better i'd rather read subs then listen to a shitty renditioned DUB!! evil

For all those crazed people out there saying ludacrice things like "Resident Evil is a good movie!" NO! *slaps wrist* That's a bad teenage hormone, bad! That's madness!

*Final Paul Anderson movie rant until the CV movie*

RESIDENT EVIL was NOT I say NOT a good movie. Whether you played the game or not, it's BAD. Let's look at very basic evidence...

1. Milla Yovavich CANNOT act! She was a model, and nothing more... Her being in movies is a testament to how lousy movies are becoming. And she's not hot! She is built like a 5 year old boy!
2. The plot was terrible for both! Made Kill Bill look original.
3. You can't snap a zombies neck with your hands... That's bullshit. You can't kick a zombie dog in the face and kill it that way. It would get you first!
4. The effects were terrible... The CG could have been created by a 15 year old in a computer graphics class. Nemesis = Ninja Turtle and zombies sucked. How are you gonna have crappy zombies in a zombie movie?!
5. For RE fans, ALL the RE characters were destroyed, replaced and bested by the 5 year old boy that is Milla Yovavich.

Paul Anderson the man that brought us: Mortal Kombat Annihilation, Event Horizon, AVP, RE(Apocalypse), is going to bring us Castlevania...

Even if a movie has a huge budget it can be done cheaply, if the director doesn't know what he's doing he can use the wrong materials/hire a bad effects crew (and still pay them a bunch), blow all the money on the cast and have very little for anything else, OR keep most of the money for himself and use a fraction on the movie confused

"Cheaply Made" just means the lack of quality which is what American movies are notorious for nowadays.

Underworld? sweatdrop If CV was like Underworld it would have been everything I feared sweatdrop The reason Hellsing's Dracula was a 'weenie' was because that movie is a comedy. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Neither Underworld nor Hellsing would be a good model for CV. Even LotR could be a better candidate to model after.
