On the hour of Celesta's death the world turned to peace once more. Its devastation no longer weighing upon the people they began to forget their ever so recent troubles and continued with their lives.

At the window of a vast black mannor stood a tall man of high elegance. His dark eyes plagued upon a setting sun, unwithered by the decay of the former villain. Lightly the dark man swirled some liquid in a wine glass that sat nestled between his gloved fingers, thinking and smiling at the day's passing. He knew why the earth had become normal, turning back to its former radiance. Still, he grinned and awaited his messanger to speak of the news.

Not too far after the man thought, the messanger arrived. He stood panting in the doorway. "My lord...Celesta has been defeted and is dead..." he said in between deep breaths. He'd ran all the way there.

The man smiled, sending a chill down the messanger's spine, even though his master's back was turned to him. He knew what it meant. The man's cold, dark eyes looked upon the world in a frozen glare, one that would make the strongest of men hold shivers up their spines.

"Defete and death are relitively the same idea, Gamli..." he said, bringing the glass gracefully up to his lips. Slowly he took a careful sip and smiled ever more. "I already know of Celesta's defete. Whose blood do you think I am drinking?" he asked, laughing coldly. The laugh made Gamli twinge in fright. "You would do well to be quicker in your news in the future, otherwise, the next glass of blood I'll be drinking will be yours." he said in a cool, dark, and smokey voice.

The messanger, Gamli, nodded nervously and awaited further instructions. As his master sipped more of Celesta's blood. As the lord of the mannor's mind twisted and turned, he came to a decision. "What else can we do, Gamli, but send out another, and hope they don't try and turn the world into their own playground?" he asked, fakely curious. The messanger shook his mind to find a suiting answer.

"You young underevolved hatchling..." The man laughed. He ordered two of his 'henchmen' to be sent out, watch the earth for possible clients to him. He was mobilizing his own army.....

It has been a year since the Angels fought together, though they never stayed apart. They were together ever since the end of Celesta's defeat, except for their two fallen commrades.

Reina, Aki, Zach, Shawn, Bolt and Tyra stood at Grover Cemetery where Mikalla, Rothgar and Kira lay. The flowers left from last year died and new ones were placed. Reina stepped forth to speak for her friends, Mikalla and Kira. "I just have a few things to say." She paused. "Mikalla was a great member to the team. She was strong and kept the team going when we lost hope. She was tough and knew how to take care of everyone when they were in trouble. Through my time getting to know her, I saw a different side of her I never knew. Kindness and love. That was Mikalla." Reina paused again because the next person she would speak of, would be the hardest to speak of. A tear trickled down her cheek. She wiped it away and began to speak. "What to say about Kira, I have a lot, but will keep short as well. Kira was my best friend before earth and after earth. She was with me every second. The first time we were Angels helping Mikalla out against the troll, I called Kira and she was there right away to help me. No questions asked." Tears came down more and more. "This year going through our senior year was amazing and I wouldn't change any of it if I had to. Kira will be missed and I love her now and forever." Reina put her flowers down on each grave and stepped back looking at her fellow angels. "Angels and guardians," she said about to cry. "If you want to make speeches, speak now." She looked again and brought her hand up to her face to wipe the tears away. But they still kept coming.

Durring Reina's speech Shawn looked at Akiko. He stood beside her, his arm wrapped around her waist and kept her close to him. She'd put up with him an entire year now, and that surprised him. He didn't know anyone could hang around him for so long, he thought he was somewhat annoying. He smiled in his mind while mourning for the others. It was easier now, it being so long. He barely knew Kira but had liked her, and Mikalla...well, they had their differences, especially when it came to wanting to protect...and love...Akiko, but he still had liked her nevertheless.

As the day went on at the graves, Shawn wrapped both arms around Akiko gently, keeping her close and warm. When Reina cried Shawn drew Akiko in closer and kissed the top of her head softly. He loved her so much. If she'd been one in those graves he wouldn't be able to go on. He'd stay at her grave the rest of his life, until death took him away. The thought of loosing Akiko broke his heart, so he decided to think on other things. "Are you alright?" he whispered to just Akiko.

She nodded in reply, a sad expression upon her petite face. Unconciously, she leaned against his chest. "I'm okay, are you?" she whispered back. Looking at Mikalla's grave caused a salty tears to escape out into the musky air that surrounded the cemetary. The Mist Angel had been her best friend since before she could remember. They had been quite the team and Akiko cared for her like a sister, even after Mikalla had fallen in love with her. The green eyed girl hadn't know Kira or Rothgart for too long, but the times spent with them she would cherish.

As for the man holding her, she never thought they'd be together. Ever since she had first set eyes on him, she'd been obsessed with the boy. Her heart would beat out of her chest, stomach would do flip flops and she couldn't help but blush every time she thought about him. In her mind, she giggled. Her brother nearly flipped his lid when Shawn had asked her out and it was seriously amusing to watch Reina try to calm Zach. Akiko was so happy with him and hoped they would be together forever.

(( bum bum bum >> << buhahahahahaha!!!! ))

The world seemed to have changed and yet it had almost been a dream. With things returning to normal Tykko high school's star soccer player made his way to the city soccer fields, the same may have been going down but the large stadium lights would be more then enough for some good night practice.

Adam Avalon stood on one side of the field, several soccer balls and a carrying net near him as he stretched out. His long strong legs, well built arms and strong shoulder all tanned as he slowly stretched them all.

With a small sigh he grinned. He always loved the sun light, but he didn't know why. He just must have been a sun kid, as his skin was rather tan all the time.

setting a ball on the ground, the sixteen year old soccer star turned about and walked a ways before charging the ball and slamming it hard into the net. A smug grin upon his face as the ball stopped spinning moments before the net would break.

Reina saw everyone was still shook up about the loss of their teammates. Zach just went to the graves and put a rose on each one. He didn't really know Kira, Mikalla or Rothgar that well, but he would remember them always. Bolt wanted to say something about his fellow guardian. He walked up to his grave stone and said, "Rothgar, we had some good times in our past lives. You and I always scolled one another on the Angels, but we knew the other was in the right. You never let me down good buddy. Still take care of us, even though you are no longer here with us." Bolt put a flower down on Rothgar's grave. He then looked up at the others and spoke on the two Angels. "Kira and Mikalla were brave warriors, who fought to save earth from destruction. They gave their lives for us and for the rest of the world. To Angel Mist and Fog and Angel Snow!" The other angels raised their hands and yelled, "Here Here!" All was quiet. The wind blew the leaves all around. Zach got closer to Reina and held her close. "Hey," he whispered. "You going to be alright?" Reina looked up into Zach's eyes. "I don't know if I can say goodbye. I mean, I said goodbye the first time at the funeral. I don't want her or Mikalla to be gone. I want both of them here now!" She pulled away from Zach and walked around the cemetary. She was really torn up over this loss and going back. For some reason she really knew that they weren't ever coming back. Some how she would have to pull her strength together and stay strong for the other angels.

In her bed, Sin stirred. She woke glazed eyes to an unwelcome sunlight and so shut them again. Though it helped block the rays it wasn't enough. She decided to roll over, mentally kicking her body out of the paralysis she had just woken up to find it in. As a stiff leg moved she groaned, and even more when she moved her arms. She ached. Her back felt like it was twisted in seventy knots and moving just made matters worse, while making them better. She had to move to get herself unstiff.

Bringing a hand to her head Sin regretted waking up already, as now she couldn't get back to sleep. The clock beside her flashed 3:13 in the afternoon. Blinking she swore she'd already gotten up that day. "Might as well get some...lunch..." she said in a soft, uneven voice. She swung her legs over the bed, every part aching. She rubbed her sore parts before raising and heading out of her bedroom. She felt oddly out of place that afternoon.

"Ooww...." she groaned as she walked. She didn't know why she was so stiff, and now her arms, legs, and back were steadily beginning to sting. The stiffness made her feel like rigormortis was setting into her living body. Sighing, she decided she didn't care. She scratched her head under her hair as she walked downstairs, finding her father waiting for her with a dust pan and hand held broom. Once meeting she smiled shyly at him. He replied by shoving the dust pan and broom in her tired arms. "Go clean up the mess you made today..." he said. His voice sounded as though he were angry, but was trying to hide it.

~Mess?~ she questioned only in her mind. Her puzzled look made her father point towards the kitchen. Nodding Sin headed, asking no more questions, whether aloud or in her mind. She shuffled through the house, snugging into her black hoodie. She found herelf in her hoodie and jeans, and since she'd apparently made a mess that day, she guessed she took a nap and forgot all about it. "Strange..." she said to herself. Though, this scenario was becoming more frequent lately.

She entered the kitchen and looked around. She soon spotted the mess 'she' made and groaned. One of the glass doors leading to the patio was shattered. She found her mess. Sighing she looked at her hands. They were covered in dried blood, and covered in cuts. Running her fingers lightly through her hair she found some glass, though it seemed like it had been picked or combed out. Feeling the back of her neck she found the same as her hand; dried blood and cuts. She knew they existed all over her arms and legs, as well as her back. "So this is why I'm so achy today..." she said. She knelt down and started to sweep up the mess. She remembered what happened, too.

She and her father had gotten into another argument, only this time, for the first time, she was standing up for herself. She couldn't really remember what it was about, though. She just remembered it being a heated argument. She said something, apparently angering him past his patience, so he grabbed her and pushed her through the glass patio door. That's where the memory ended. She figured he felt guilt, as he sometimes did, and tried vaguely to clean her up. Once she was done cleaning up the glass she rose and went to her room to grab a change of clothes and left to take a shower.

Alice awoke in her appartment with a start. Her dreams hadn't been of a plesant nature. "What's gonna happen now?" She muttered before putting her pillow over her head. There were too many things she had to worry about. She had to worry about her father or his croanies finding her, about school, about her job, and to top it all off she was having strange dreams. "Make the world go away." She mumbled under the pillow as her alarm sounded. She threw the pillow and got up. It was time for another meaningless day in a meaningless existance.

((One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to make this post seem just a tidbit longer ... I said nothing >.>))

Olive glanced over the various card packets, observing each one carefully as though it was a life or death situation, the soft sounds of the stores music drifting to the air barely drowning out the babbling of her fellow gamers and friends.

"The Legends expansion is better than the Reapers and you know it!" Malcolm argued, folding his arms across his chest as his brow scrunched together in fury, a frown forcing its way across his face as he stared down a laughing Hanen.

"Ah... you're rich Malcolm, really rich! Legends only got a bunch of holy praising things in it, but Reapers? It's loaded with all your required minions and friendly life-stealing spells!"

"Life-stealing only gets you so far and you know it! At least with the 'holy praising things' you don't have to pay a cost!" Malcolm retorted heatedly, his brown eyes shining brightly. Hanen just cocked an eyebrow, giving a curious frown before glancing at Olive.

"Hey Oli, what'd you thinks better? Legeenndzz or good ol' Reapers?" he asked, slurring the word Legends to peeve Malcolm more, a cynical smirk across his face.

Olive stood up a few packets of various shiny colors in her hands as she glanced at the two a moment, an eyebrow raised with a look of concentration on her face.

"What do I think...hhmm... well..." she said slowly, her look of concentration fading as she looked back and forth between the two with a blank expression. "I think you're both stupid. That's it! You're both stupid! Don't call me Oli again you hear?" she exclaimed with a nod, turning and heading for the counter to pay for her purchases. "Legends or Reapers... please..."

"Heeyyy..." the two replied, sharing a glance between themselves before glancing around in other directions either to look at trading packs or gamer magazines, silence finally settling on the store.

Sin derobed and stepped into the warm shower. She was careful with her entrance, easing herself so her cuts had the chance to get used to the water. Cursing when they stung, Sin washed off all the dry blood and bits of glass that remained in her hair and variously on her body. Sighing she looked down and let the water fall over her as she thought.

"What now...and what next..." she shut her eyes and let the water fall over her head for another five minutes before she was done. Stepping out she dried and dressed and went to her room. She made sure the bathroom was spotless before stepping away, even taking the care as to see the mirrors weren't all fogged up. When she was done and stepped out it was as if no one had been in at all.

"Math time then..." Sin said, her hunger discintigrated by now. She opened her math book and began doing her problems. It was Sunday, so she had to get some studying and homework in before class tomorrow.

Adam walked the streets now, rather sweaty and slightly muddy as he passed by the crowds, the soccer balls all together in the net he carried on his back he hummed a rather odd tune as he passed by many a shop. The sweat seeming to fly off him as he walked.

He stopped for but a moment, a strange feeling washing over him as he spotted a girl in a game shop. He blinked as she looked oddly familar but he'd never really seen her before in his life. Staring but a moment longer he gave a slight shiver and kept walking. What a strange day.

Walking back towards his home, he stopped at a soda machine, and set the balls down. Grinning he pulled out the appropreate yin and grinned as he selected rootbeer. Sure, it was an american treat but it was rather good after a long practice seasion.

Shawn squeezed Akiko dearly. He planted a kiss atop her head once again as he pulled her closer. She was his most precious posetion, one he would fight to protect and die before loosing. "Why don't we go..." He offered. It would do some good to get away.

Shawn didn't break the embrace until Akiko answered, not minding what she decided either way. Okami wasn't there, but back at Shawn's appartment. The wolf would've most likely attracted some unwanted attention. Though, how much more attention could one obtain with a wolf that wasn't already there with a talking fox? Smiling Shawn shook his head at the thought. His green eyes nestled upon the younge beauty in his arms. "We could get some coffee, something to eat?" He asked.

Reina still walked around in a different part of the cemetary. Her eyes still wet and dripping with tears. She wanted her friends back more than ever and she wanted everything back to the way it was before. She hit a tree that was next to a tombstone. "Dang it!! I hate this, I hate all of it. Being an Angel has changed my life so much. Why did this have to happen? I don't want to do this anymore. It's too much, it's... it's just too much!!!" She began sobbing harder than ever. As she cried a paw touched her shoulder. Reina looked up and noticed Bolt was looking right in her eyes. "Reina, why are you crying over here by yourself? And I thought I heard yelling?" Reina put her head down. "I'm just upset Bolt. I wish all of this never happened to the me and the others. It just not fair." Bolt licked her face. "Come on Reina, it's not your fault that this happened. Mikalla and Kira wanted to do this. They made a decision. Not one that the rest of us liked, but they made it." Reina spoke again. "Bolt, I don't want to be an Angel anymore!" Bolt's ears pricked up at her comment. "WHAT!!! Are you crazy?! You can't give this..." He was interupted. "Bolt, I can't handle this. It's way too much. I mean, I just started college. I don't want to worry about fighting. I want to worry about classes and sleeping in late and missing a class or something like that!" Bolt couldn't believe Reina was saying this. "Reina, you're just tired and upset. Go home and rest." Reina didn't respond. Bolt yelled at her. "REINA, GO HOME AND REST NOW!!!" Reina looked at him, got up and headed home." Bolt walked back to the others. "Guys, Reina went home. She is still shook up about what happened. I had her go and rest to get her mind off of things. I think our time here is ended. Let's go."
