Magishinn walked the part of is lands that was nothing but treeless grassland. It was early morning, the sky stood in gold, and dew coated the ground. He roared out a greeting towards the sun, and also announcing his newly claimed kinghood.

Chess fluttered her pale purple wings, gently pushing herself off the ground. Yellow eyes scaned over the grass below her. A chuckle sounded, her tail flicking back and forth behind her. The never disappering grin upon her face, grew larger as though it would soon take over her entire face.
Round ears rotated backwards. A roar echoed though the lands, causing the grin upon the lioness' face to shrink. When had these lands been claimed? Walking a circle in the air, the lioness broke into a run though her feet were not upon the ground. A thought soon passed though her mind, as she paused droping back to the earth. Her grin grew wider as she vanished from view.
Moments later as she reappered a blue blob caught her eye. Slowly Chess fluttered into the air "Twinkle, twinkle little bat..How I wonder where you're at.." she sung to herself as she inspected the lion from above.

The flap of wings, and the sound of a distant voice caught his ears. He looked around, ears high upon his head. He looked around, but saw nothing. Where was the sound coming from, and why did he feel like he was being watched? He never thought to look up,...

Chess laughed aloud to herself, as she watched the male look around. She could tell he had heard her, yet it seemed as if he never thought of looking up. Flapping her wings harder, she lowered herself to the ground, her tail perked up, the tip twitching. "What are you looking for?" she questioned, though she knew the answer.

The lioness, laughed once more, looking over the blue male from the ground level. "Was it me?" she questioned, walking closer to him. "Or was it someone else?" Chess knew it had been her, yet she couldn't help, but question him.
