So I've been thinking about it for a little while, even experimenting some. With the recent theft of Ms. Alnette's Dark Excalibur, would it be a good idea if I started stealing opponent's items in battles?
Personally, I think it'd make an interesting twist for the Battledome. Here's what I was thinking:
Every time Essi rolls a victory, he'll have the option to steal an object of the person he rolled against. The losing party would then have to post for a while until they were presented with another chance at Essi, where they could reclaim it.
If I'm not around for a while, they can reclaim it in 7 days regardless.
By doing this, I think it'll add story, character, and new types of fights to the Battledome as people won't be able to rely on their trusty weapons any longer.
Or should we keep this out of IC, don't and say he did?
Also, if everyone likes/is on board this idea, should I make a list of things I've successfully stolen?

That sounds really interesting but depending on the character stolen from perhaps not really viable. And in some cases the character wouldn't have anything worth stealing.
Like Valkorth. What's Essi gonna do? Steal his pants?
Also, given the personalities of certain characters and their abilities its quite likely some of them would simply hunt Essi down. And since I've yet to see any supernatural abilities for him they'd probably be successful.

But now I've got an amusing image of Essi trying to drag my dragon tamer's sword away. Essi doesn't seem like the sort to be capable of running with a blade that weighs a couple hundred pounds.
But yeah. It does sound like a neat thing to do. Though its pretty much gonna be on the stealee's honor. Because there's not really much you can do to stop them.
Anyways for the time being I will rest assured that Valkorth won't have to worry about any of this because honestly I can't see him being too upset if Essi does steal his pants. Assuming I ever post in the dome again. Haven't really felt like it recently.
Oh and so totally make a list. If Rusty can have a spanking list you should so have a booty list. Yes, the pun was intended.

Hm.. That could prove to be a challenge for the Domer's. It'd also be fun, One moment your fighting and the next moment you lose due to some unknown reason your weapon or something is gone, That reason? Essi.
It would really turn the tide in battle for better or worse, Whoever lose's their item.
I'd like to see this. My Weapon's Master would be a challenge for him though.
