 -Shizuo Heiwajima-
“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo put a cigarette between his lips and lit it. Then his hands were shoved back in his pockets, eyes downcast as he walked down the alley. He stopped soon after he started though; there was someone he really did not want to see at the other end. He let out a breath, smoke billowing out. Shizuo clenched one of his fists, threw his cigarette on the ground and smothered it with his shoe. "Izaya." He muttered, eyes narrowing behind his glasses.

Izaya Orihara  Izaya chuckled quietly and the anger in Shizuo's voice, "oh it's good to see you too Shizu-chan! How've you been?" The blunt way the blonde haired man said his name made a chill of happiness run down his spine, but of course everyone in and out of the streets knew that they hated each other; this fact was unavoidable no matter how hard you try to deny it. Shizuos' anger issues always ended up destroying apart of the city, Izaya's additude seemed to cause said outbursts, but all in all he enjoyed watching the man. "Judging by your glare I'd say just great, and now you're trying to find something to throw at me? Ahh...you are so fun to predict! Even though some of my outcomes can be a tad off..."

Shizuo said deeply, doing his best to ignore the pesky nickname 'Shizu-chan' that Izaya always used around him. "You're damn striaght I'm tryin' to find something to throw at you!" Though his options were limited; in the alley there was only a few discarded cardboard boxes and some tin trash cans. Shizuo reached over and grabbed the lid to a trash can, knocking on it with his fist to test its durability. "And there's plenty more where this came from." He said under his breath, smirking.

Izaya Orihara Izaya pouted slightly and leaned againts the wall, studying Shizuo with intrest. "Well I must say that bartender outfit does wonders to you Shizu-chan, have you thought about full time? Oh wait! You don't have a life TO have a full time, don't you?" He laughed quietly and began his leisure stroll toward him, "but seriously all jokes aside; have you even really put real thought as to why you hate me? Because where I stand your just a child who whines whenever he doesn't get what he wants..." Izaya leaned into Shizuo and smirked, looking up at him with narrow eyes, "I can see right through you, it's pathetic." With that said, the black haired man turned away while waving his hands around, "oh dear world what must we do to this monster~?"

“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo studied Izaya carefully. Yes, same looks, same personality... Different atmosphere. He gritted his teeth at his comments. When Izaya leaned into him, as he had done many times before, his heart lept in his chest. Why? As Izaya turned away, Shizuo made a noise that was close to a growl, and chucked the trash can lid at the shorter man in front of him. "You're the pathetic one." "I hate violence."

Izaya Orihara Izaya ducked without even having to turn around, the air of the lid ruffled his hair slightly. "Oh deary me Shizu-chan, you didn't want to hit me with that..." He turned back toward Shizuo and walked toward him, "...did you...?" He tugged on his tie and leaned in closer, "you're feeling something right now, aren't you? Something you've never felt before...and it's making you mad because you don't know what it is. Your heart is beating at a fast pace, both of us can feel each others breath on their skin, so why? Why must it be so different if we've done this before Shizuo?" His red eyes seemed to glow in the night filled alley, even the stars above them seemed so distant in this atmosphere around them.

The uncanny way Izaya knew about his feelings always kinda creeped him out. And now it was just damn unforunate that Izaya figured out how he felt at the moment. He sucked in a breath, only to take Izaya's scent along with it, driving him even more over the edge than he already was. "I had intended to hit you with that, yes." He said, anything to distract him from the mans coy smile and confident figure in front of him. Maybe if he had hit him, Izaya wouldn't be doing this."I hate violence."

Izaya Orihara Izaya blinked slowly and trailed a finger down Shizuo's cheek, smirking lightly. "Ah...my sweet Shizu-chan, you know how much you care about me. You only want to hurt me...that's why you attack me all the time, right?" He leaned back and stared at him, the tone in his voice lowered to a soft whisper, "I know that when you say you hate me, it hurts you alittle inside just like it does me...but if you insist about me wanting to die, I'll go jump off a roof for you; hows that sound?" He tounched his shoulder before turning around, sighing quietly to himself, "goodbye dear world..."

His heart beat rapidly in his chest, even more so when Izaya started getting all mushy and whatnot, spilling that Shizuo's insults hurt him straight out, like they were in some sort of girl's book club or whatever. "Fine, whatever." Shizuo scoffed. "That's perfectly fine by me." He turned away and waved over his shoulder as he started to walk back down the alley way, heading back for the city. He didn't believe Izaya would ever attempt to kill himself."I hate violence."

Izaya Orihara Izaya looked down and Shizuo from the roof of the building above him, frowning as he dangled his foot over the edge, "I'm so happy you feel that way...because I was going to if you say that; I just can't take it anymore...all this pain you give me, at first it felt great...but now it just..." He sighed as he felt the sudden jolt of tears fill in his eyes, something that never really happens at all, "..unbareable..." Rain slowly poured over the city, not helping the mood at all.

Shizuo was infact watching Izaya very carefully from the top of the building he was standing on. He could see Izaya's lips moving, but he couldn't hear what he was saying. As it started to pour and thunder crashed overhead, Shizuo groaned. His hair stuck to his head and the fact that there was no cover around where he was made him pissed off. He wanted a cigarette to distract him from Izaya, but couldn't now because of the rain. "Izaya, you damn fool." He muttered."I hate violence."

Izaya Orihara Izaya closed his eyes and leaned forward, his weight made him slip and fall over. The rain slapped onto his body as the ground got closer to him, but he didn't feel any fear coil into him as the thought of him dying today flooded into his brain. Maybe it's for the best, Izaya thought as he opened his eyes slightly, I mean Shizuo doesn't care if I die, right? He even said so...so why...
Why does it feel like his eyes are on him right now? Shizuo must be long gone by now, that was to be their fate, that's what Izaya always thought; they'd never be together no matter how many times he dropped silent hints about his feelings. Unlike him, Izaya was never straight forward and it was to be his down fall.

“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo's eyes widened when he saw Izaya lean foward and start to fall. "God damnit Izaya!" He yelled, running forward. His thoughts were jumbled mess, his feelings ranging from panic and fear to anger and disbelief. He never believed Izaya would ever do something as foolish as take his own life, especially because of someone like himself.
Shizuo cussed as Izaya got closer to the ground. He would never make it in time. He yelled out, jumping forward with his arms stretched out. Izaya fell into him, the force knocking him over. They both tumbled to the ground, rolling a few times on the muddy ground. Shizuo was breathing heavily. "You're such....a pain... Izaya..." He managed between breaths."I hate violence."

Izaya Orihara Izaya blinked up in surprise when Shizuo caught him, "S-Shizu...o...why did you...save me...?" He coughed loudly, the force of the catch hurt his chest alittle. But that didn't matter. Shizuo saved him! But why? Isn't this what he wanted for him, wasn't it? Death? Tears began to spill over his eyes as Izaya clung onto Shizuo's neck and cried into his shoulder. "S-Shizuo...!" The life they had together flashed before his eyes when Izaya fell down from that roof, and all the time they got hit was like the rain; slapping his body one by one painful drop. e has never shown this side to Shizuo before...and this made him blush madly. God why am I acting like this...?! Why?!

“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo coughed as well, spitting rain and mud out of his mouth onto the ground next to them. He didn't say anything to him, but hesitantly put his arms around Izaya. Why was he acting like that in front of him? Izaya didn't cry. Izaya didn't cling to people. Izaya didn't open up. Then Shizuo realized; Izaya was serious about this whole thing. His feelings for Shizuo, attempting to kill himself because he was hurt. It was all real. "Oh god." Shizuo gasped."I hate violence."
