Ancient Tomb
DESCRIPTION -
Like its 'sister areas' - Island Cave on Route 105, and the Desert Ruins on Route 111 -, the Ancient Tomb is the home of a legendary pokemon, the one found here being of the Steel-type. It too is surrounded by a series of six small rock outcroppings, forming a hexagonal pattern. Also like its 'sister areas', the Ancient Tomb has a puzzle in Braille language that one must solve in order to advance into the Tomb's inner-most room.
LOCATION -
The Ancient Tomb is located on Route 120, in central Hoenn, in-between Fortree City and Lilycove City.
PEOPLE -
Only the most intrepid of field researchers have been known to come here. Otherwise, how would we even know of the Tomb's existence?
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Some say that an odd scent lingers in the air here. Most believe that it is the iron in the air(this would probably be due to the legendary Steel-type pokemon within the Tomb). Others say that it's the damp smell that accompanies the heavy rainfall that occasionally plagues Route 120.What you interpret the scent as is up to your imagination, really.
MYTH/LORE -
Registeel, the Iron Pokemon, is said to make its home here. Like its brethren - Regice and Regirock -, it was sealed away centuries ago. No one really knows why...or for that matter, what their ties are to a legendary pokemon in Sinnoh myths.
