DESCRIPTION -
The Safari Zone is a special pokemon preserve where Trainers can capture certain types of pokemon. It is owned by the friendly Safari Warden, who built it because of his love of the Safari Zones in other regions, some of which have been made into Pal Parks. For 500 PokeDollars, the player will receive 30 Safari Balls. Akin to previous Safari Zones, there is a large area to cover, each separate - and smaller - area housing different wild pokemon. When a wild pokémon appears, no pokémon may be sent out to battle it; catching pokémon here, as in all Safari Zones, requires sheer luck. When catching a Pokemon, you can either throw a Safari Ball, throw bait, run away, or throw mud. Throwing bait makes a pokémon less likely to run, but makes it harder to catch, while throwing mud does the reverse, making it easier to catch but more likely to run.

LOCATION -
The Hoenn Safari Zone is located in central Hoenn, relatively close to Lilycove City.

PEOPLE -
The only people you'll find here are park rangers - who are more than happy to help you out - or other Safari-goers, who'll more than likely try to start up a competition with you.

RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Poke Center: - As one would expect of such a Pokemon-centric area, there is a Poke Center just inside of the Zone entrance, usually seen to by one of the attendants.

Safari Zone: - Well, where else are you going to catch Pokemon of all shapes and sizes?

MYTH/LORE-
If you really want to catch them all, here's the place to do it!
