And it was awesome! I was at Anime Midwest, and got to meet/hangout with Sean Schemmel, my favorite voice actor who inspired me to get into voice acting in college. Who also plays the roles of Goku, King Kai, Nail, Half of Vegito and Gogeta, Lucario in the Pokemon movie, Gonard on Kappa Mikey, Black Doom on Shadow the Hedgehog, Pokemon Trainer: Gold "Jimmy" in the anime, the main Pokemon Villain in the Zoroark movie who chokes a Celebi, the mind reader in Yu Yu Hakusho, and several other works! It was awesome, I met and hung out with him, bumped into him about 8 times later that day. He also went to a rave party with us until about 2am, my pops was moon walking with glowsticks, and Sean-Goku was break dancing with Glow sticks! lol. Both were hilarious, and I got to see/hangout with him near the pool at 4 am with a member of the Leetstreetboys band. Sean was my hero before the con, and meeting him made my year! I also got like 60 autographs, and got every Goku card made signed, and am the only person in the world to have that collection complete, he complimented me on it, and even signed one of my Goku items "1 of ?" as several he said he'd never signed before, so its the 1st out of ? who knows how many he will someday sign. He also saw the first ever completed Vegitos/Gogeta signed by him and Chris Sabat. And I got 2 figures signed too, a Bandai Super Battle Collection Vol. 00 Son Goku Perfect Version (that goes from Normal, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and Super Saiyan 3) and the Vol.38 Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku! I also got a King Kai thing signed (which he mentioned that hes signed under a handful of King Kai items ever). And my Mastery he signed so it has Chris-Vegeta on it, Kyle-Gohan, and Sean Schemmel-Goku on it lol. Hes by far the coolest voice actor I've met, next would be Chris Sabat who I've met twice. Both seemed to really get into spending time with their fans as Chris Sabat at Ohayocon did the fusion dance with fans, and left voice mails as Vegeta lol. Sean Schemmel at Anime Midwest called up a friend of ours and said "Why didn't you go to the con ya douche?" lol. The friend was like "Who is this?" He said "Goku!" our friend said "Nuh Uh" so Sean yelled "KAIO KEN!!" then our friend was like "Dude it is Goku, man I'm sorry!" lol. I also got a picture with Sean, it was awesome!

Sweet, which Comic Con did you meet him at? I met Chris Sabat at Origins for the DBZ/DBGT Expanded Worlds 2004 where I placed within the Top Cut of the World Tournament. And I met him again this year Jan. at Ohayocon in Columbus Ohio, he too is a great guy, very funny too! lol His line even took longer than expected and Chris Sabat told the next voice actor and his fans to wait until Chris Sabat's fans were done, that he does these cons for the fans, hes a really cool dude too lol.

Sweet, do you get anything signed ever? When I saw Sean I got a complete Goku collection for their old DBZ/DBGT TCG/CCG that they used to promote signed. Sean told me I have the best Goku collection he'd seen, and that some of those he'd never signed before and wrote "1 of ?" as its 1 of who knows how many he will someday sign. Plus I got the only Complete Goku Collection Signed in the world I found out, same with theirs a Vegito, Super Saiyan Vegito, and a SS4 Gogeta that I got signed by both him and Chris Sabat that he said hes never seen those completed with both signatures before, and the King Kai item I got signed he mentioned hes only signed like a handful of King Kai items ever that most know him as Goku lol. I also got 2 DBZ figures signed, one being a DBZ Bandai Super Battle Collection Vol.00 Son Gokou Perfect Version where he goes from Normal, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and Super Saiyan 3. So I got that signed, and a Vol.38 Super Saiyan 4 Son Gokou so those 2 figures were signed as a pair lol. Do you get things signed ever? If so, what do you get signed?

A poster would be neat, I have one that I got out in California when I was in Hollywood that has EVERY Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and DBZ Movie Character ever drawn by Akira Toriyama on it. (Even minor characters, transformations, etc. even people like Hitler from DBZ Movie: Fusion Reborn, and the main Villain from the DBZ OVA: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.) Its literally got every character on it, so I considered getting it signed by the cast since I'm always meeting voice actors, but fear I'd get OCD about it and wouldn't be able to complete it (Like how I prefer Linda Young as Frieza since she was Frieza through DBZ/GT/DBZ Movies&Games) but a poster would still be cool if it focuses on that character lol.

As for signing Vegeta's butt, he might get a kick outta that as Chris Sabat is really silly. And it wouldn't be the weirdest thing hes signed, at Ohayocon he signed a Microwave and a 2 dollar bill that he gave the president super saiyan hair and a mustache lol. And Sean Schemmel said the weirdest thing hes ever signed was a babies diaper that was on a baby that the dad wanted signed lol. You see some odd folks/items to get signed at cons, but a poster or figure would be cool. I'd recommend one of the Japanese Bandai Super Battle Collection Vegeta figures lol.

They do, however sadly there isn't much DBZ stuff. That or classic animes like Sailor Moon (Hunted merchandise down for that for my sister and all I found was a coffee cup), Yu Yu Hakusho, or Rurouni Kenshin (I saw NOTHING of either of those). Most classic awesome animes you won't find merchandise for, instead they milk the new stuff which isn't making them as many sales (Even Sean Schemmel told us that anime is dying out, so some of the voice actors are getting pay cuts, thats why many have had to drop character voices/give their character to a new voice actor, and that many are losing their jobs due to money issues, and said that they were getting some of the biggest sales from 2001-2005 but that today anime isn't getting the sales like it once did, nor are you seeing it played too much on TV anymore). He also commented on merchandise saying their DBZ games always sell, yet nobody is choosing to keep putting out merchandise (figures and whatnot) so Sean said they are losing out by not doing so, but the people in charge don't see anime as being as profitable as it once was. Sean had a idea for a clothing line he told us about with Goku and the Nimbus on it, with Goku looking like hes explaining something, and it would say "Just Saiyan" as a pun off of "Just Sayin" lol.

So surprisingly no, you probably won't find much DBZ merchandise at a con to get signed, at least not poster wise. You might find like a T-Shirt, or a DVD, a graphic novel, or something along the lines of that. Nothing RARE tho either. Which we found silly, as this con had GOKU yet they didn't stock up on Goku merchandise so fans could pick something up then have it signed the same day. That would have promoted business, tho they had very little DBZ stuff at cons lately. I'd suggest Ebay, pick a good one (poster, figure, etc.) then get it signed, and cherish it! He doesn't sign too often!

Lol I'm not sure if I made a mistake with what I was saying before, but I was saying they don't have OLD anime lol. Like DBZ, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, etc. lol. You'll find TONS of the new anime (sadly) as I'm not as much of a fan of the newer ones. So if a DBZ voice actor is signing you might not find much merchandise to get signed. Do you have much DBZ merchandise at the moment?

However at Ohayocon, they had some shirts there because Chris Sabat was signing, there was one with Vegeta on it breaking a scouter that said "OVER 9,000!!" The other shirt had Bulma in Vegeta's arms with Yamcha in the background that said 'Shes my b***h now!" LOL. But I wouldn't recommend getting a shirt signed, as if it accidentally get washed...bye bye autograph lol. Figures look really cool signed tho, especially still in box. Also did you mention your from California? If so, there should be some great opportunities to meet some voice actors out there. I really want to meet Justin Cook (Yusuke/Super Buu) and Stephanie Nadolny (Kid Goku/GT Kid Goku, Kid Gohan/Teen Gohan/SS2) I believe California or Vegas was lucky enough a few years back to have Johnny Yong Bosch and Justin Cook so they had the Original Spirit Detective Yusuke, and today's Soul Reaper Ichigo lol.

I've never been to a con before so i don't really know what they have. Can I buy posters there? Or should i buy one before i go?

Oh okay thank you! That sucks that they don't have new anime.
And i shall cherish it!

Oh okay. I would totally buy a shirt but if I got it signed I couldn't wear it xD. I found a pretty awesome poster for him to sign though.
No, I'm not from California, they always have the best cons >.<
Also I better keep my Vegeta action figure safer xD My dog just tried to take a bite of it
