The door itself is quite simple. A doorknob attached low enough for the only one who needed it to reach, for the co-captain would rather pass through the door than fumble with a knob.
The room itself was quite nice, the walls painted an elegant shade of dark green that was not too dark or too light. In the center of the room was quite the sight, a giant tree that had to have the ground beneath it broken for it to get there. It only narrowly avoided collision with the roof, the tip of the last leaf only mere inches from touching the ceiling. Obviously, it didn't grow here on its own, and it had half been moved in here and half helped grow with Basilisks abilities. A round section of roof above the tree had been cut out and replaced with a see through tough glass, allowing for light to pour down from above and onto the plant. A switch near the entrance controlled the curtains hidden on the sides of the roof-window, allowing for them to shut out the sun when it wasn't welcome.
There were wooden sticks jutting out of the sides of the tree, spiraling up to the lowest branch as if a ladder. These were recently added for the newest member, who cant get up there on his own. On that very branch a nest had been built, now what kind of bird couldn't fly?
Other than the big tree, everything was just about normal. A nice, gold couch, cards scattered around the floor, dinner table, regular table, library, etc. Take out that tree and it'd be your everyday, normal room.

:: :: (picture coming soon) ✗ Basilisk :: Ren :: Jonah ✗Ren passed through the door, Arceus she would never get tired of being able to do that. Rather than the usual sight of a bored snake, however, she came home to something different. Basilisk was hard at work as some sort of strange machine, connecting different wires to other wires, hammering away at it as he stopped every now and then to think it over.
Ren floated over to him, looking at the machine with curiosity. "...vat is zat?" she asked. He didn't look away from his work, "Science, my dear lady. I finally have the last piece I need for my greatest experiment ever" he replied, connecting two wires as a small jolt of electricity flared out. "I zought zis vas just a hovy" she said, moving over to his side. He looked at the inside of the machine with care, "It is a hobby. A hobby I am very passionate about" he said.
He closed the panel, "We just need the last, critical piece" he stated, looking over his creation. It was a cylindrical shaped machine, very wide and very tall, and had various rods sticking out the top. A small circular shaped window was built into its thick metal door, and various lights flashed on and around the machine. A control panel stuck out the back, and the whole thing just looked like a prop from some kind of science movie.
"I would like to bring your attention to this!" he exclaimed, gesturing towards a glass box. And in the box...a rock. "Vats so important avout a vrock?" she said, looking over it. He gasped, "Ren, this is no ordinary rock! This, right here, is the final ingredient to my maserpiece!"
With the slowness and care of a mother handeling a precious, frail glass child he took the "rock", opening the door of the machine and gently putting it down on a table inside the machine. He closed the door silently, running to the back control panel as he began to press some of the buttons. Giddy like a little kid, he pressed one bug red button and flipped a switch. The machine began to hum, and he ran over to a table that had been flipped over to be used as a shield. "Take cover, because I have no idea what will happen~"
Even with no reason to, Ren followed him behind the table, staying put. The machine began to hum, louder and louder, as it shook violently fron side to side. The rods on the top began sparking, electricity dancing between them.
Everything went silent for a moment, and then a loud BOOM! Pieces of metal flew everywhere, and thankfully they were both behind a shield. Basilisk opened his eyes, peering over the table.
In the spot of the machine, a confused Archen, not knowing why the frag it was here.
The Snivy began to laugh hysterically. "YES! I'VE DONE IT!" he boomed, looking into the sky. After his fit of laughter subsided, he walked over to the prehistoric bird, hand outstretched. "Welcome back my friend. I am Basilisk, the one whom brought you back here. My ghost friend is Rem, she will bring you no harm. And you are?"
He blinked, stretching his hand wing out to meet the snakes. "Jonah. Glad to meet you, but...just where am I" Basilisk laughed, "You, friend, are in the future! And you have modern science to thank for that!"

Leonardo de Viquor A mid-aged Smeargle came bounding down the path and skidded to a halt in front of Team Trickster's door, something strapped to his back. He saw the team leaders not a few days ago and was inspired to paint, all of the sudden. He figured he might as well leave it here. He unloaded his bundle and unrolled a fair sized canvas. Using blacks and whites and shades of grey had been nice practice for him, and that splash of bright purple really made it pop! The Paint Pokemon sighed happily and left the poster outside the door, knocking firmly twice before running off. ((This team gave me inspiration, and gave me some practice with cards ;3))

:: :: ✗ Basilisk :: Ren :: Jonah ✗'Let's work it out. Cultural heartbeat. Lets keep it, keep it ticking.
The future is uncertain. So let us work it out. Requisite gut-check. Nothing is impossible.
The future is not clawless, so let us work it out. And keep the life debt. Lets keep it keep it going.
Well isolate the beauty gene. I propose a toast to modern scientists. I put my faith in the brighter brains
Modern science. I put my faith in your capable brains.
Modern scientists, you are the glorious sons of kings.'
"Vat is zat you have written up zere?" Ren was floating right next to Jonahs nest as she noticed the letters scratched into their tree's sturdy trunk. The Archen, too busy reading an old newspaper, looked up for only a moment. She was talking about the words he had written on the tree, they were small but he was able to read them easily from where he was. He'd scratched them in with his claw a little while ago, hoping no one would mind. "Oh, yeah, just some song lyrics I heard a while ago. I wanted to put them somewhere I wouldn't forget, they were interesting" "...Vatever"
Ren floated away back to wherever the heck she was before. About 10 minutes later, Jonah put his paper down in the middle of the crossword as a knock came from the door. Knowing full well by now that no one would answer that, he covered the top of his nest with the newspaper and climbed down the steps he had been given. Walking calmly over to the door, he opened it while putting on the best smile he could manage with that beak of his. "Hello?" wait, no one? Usually a knock came from a living thing, it couldn't have just been the air. He stepped out, looking around the halls. Huh, there really was no one...
He noticed something, on the floor. Gently, he picked it up, being careful with his claws, as he looked at it. A painting...an amazing painting. Oh gosh, Basil was going to like it, both of them were going to like it for sure. He looked down the hallway once more, hoping the artist was around...but there was only empty space to greet him. He gave a soft "Thank you..." before retreating back into the room, figuring out which wall to hang the poster on.
After somehow finally getting it up, he called his leaders over for their own opinion. They were going to love this, if not he was going to make them love it!
[[ Oh my gosh, that is AMAZING. You don't know how much I love this. This is really awesome, and I hope you don't mind but I have to put it in the teams profile. I have to ]]

:: :: :: ✗ Basilisk :: Ren :: Jonah :: Louvell ✗"JONAH, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Basil shouted from his cover behind the couch. The Archen, crouched down next to him, played nervously with his claw-fingers. "I-I saw the egg abandoned and I decided to hatch it, but I didn't-" "SHHH!" Basil put one of his leafy hands over the Archens beak, "I am blaming this on you. I don't care what you say, this is all your fault and you should be ashamed" He glared up at Ren, who was already high up in the air and out of reach. "THIS IS WHY I TOLD YOU WE CAN'T KEEP KIDS!" He yelled. "Vat is zat? I can't hear you~" Oh, he was going to get her when she came back down.
Jonah and Basil were cowering behind their couch, now flipped over so the back side could shield them, like a fort. Jonah peeked over, looking over at the orange Poochyena causing all of this. The pups whole body was set aflame, and it was starting to get hard to see him under all that heat. A ball of crumpled up papers in front of him, he gave an almost insane grin as he looked over it. "Fire, fire, dance for me, fire~" he chimed, touching a paw to the side of the paper and watching as it quickly turned to ashes. A Pyromaniac, at the least, and just born too!
Basilisk glared at his Archen companion, "You've let lose a hell hound in our living room" he hissed. Jonah rolled his eyes, "If its that big a problem then I'LL just go deal with it" he was a rock type, it would help. Standing up, the Archen put his wing up in front of him like a shield, storming over to the Poochyena with an incredibly angry expression. "Louvell!" The Poochyenas head jerked up, "Oh hello there~ I guess I should thank you, y'know, for hatching me and all...but you should no one thing." "What?" the Poochyena grinned, "at some point in a kids life, they just want their parents to BURN!" he punctuated that by spitting a ball of fire towards Jonah, the Archen letting his wing take the blow. Louvell looked on, surprised, before throwing a few more...and nothing. Angered, he spit out round upon round of fire, all extinguished by Jonahs rock-hard wing.
"You'll find that your fire doesn't affect me as much as it should, kid" he said. He ran up to the Poochyena, throwing his wing to the side and slamming it on the Poochyenas side, the odd fire type falling over from the whole motion. It hadn't been enough to break a bone, but he made sure that it would hurt! The Poochyena whimpered, his flames dying down and only leaving a strip that ran from the back of his head, over his back, and over the top of his tail. "I-I'll be good!" Jonah lifted a wing, "Promise?" "Yes, yes, I swear!"
Basilisk got out from behind the couch, it was safe now that Louvell had calmed down. "Dang Jonah, you're scary" The Archen's expression turned nervous again, "Scary? No, no, I don't like that, I don't want people to be afraid of me or anything!" "Its alright, you just saved this whole room from a wildfire!"
"Wildfire..." Jonah mumbled it, pondering on the word. Basil didn't seem to hear him, and he continued, "So what do we do with this, um...you called him Louvell, yes?" Jonah nodded,"Louvell...Louvell Wildfire, yes, that is his name" He looked over at the tree that Louvell was now cowering from Jonah behind. Funny how tables turn, right?
