Yeah, I was wondering, too! I read all the manga, but I still don't understand. Heck, I still don't understand a lot of what happened in the last volume. Uhm...I'm gonna ask a bunch of questions, so I suppose I'll white them out in case they're spoilers.
Are Dima and Zita Chobits?
Why did Hideki have to press Chii's button thingie?
What was Chii's ability?
Anyway, if someone could answer these, that would be really nice...

I think I am correct, but if not I apologise...I think that Chi (a.k.a. Elda) has the power to give all of the persocoms feelings, like she has. And Freya was inside of Chi, but then she disapeared after Chi told her that she wanted to stay with Hiedeki (sp?)
I haven't read the manga, but I own the series, and that's what I interpret from it. 3nodding

The reason why shes different is because she has emotions! I got that bit, and I thnik her porwer was to um...AAAAAAAAAAHHHH I DUNNO! I THINK IT WAS TO MAKE ALL PERSOCOMS FALL IN LOVE!

thats wat i thought especally in the movies at the very end all the 'coms' eyes looked like really human eyes
P.S. yukilover234777 is my sister and we both thought that we're twins like Freya and Elda only dont look exactly alike

Well how i see it is kinda like the previous posts
Chi has the power to feel emotions and is as human-like as they can be created. She is an artificial human basically and theres some more but im not really positive.

1) no, they were created by the company that Chi's parents worked for to stop Chi's program
