 -Shizuo Heiwajima-
“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo put a cigarette between his lips and lit it. Then his hands were shoved back in his pockets, eyes downcast as he walked down the alley. He stopped soon after he started though; there was someone he really did not want to see at the other end. He let out a breath, smoke billowing out. Shizuo clenched one of his fists, threw his cigarette on the ground and smothered it with his shoe. "Izaya." He muttered, eyes narrowing behind his glasses.

Izaya's eyes widened then smirked. "Hey Shizzy. I just thought I'd drop by." He said looking up at a building nearby as if waiting for something to happen. Izaya looked back at Shizuo. A silent pause passed over and Izaya took a step back. Silent pauses were never good when one dealt with Shizuo Heiwajima.

“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo's eyes narrowed and the corners of his mouth twitched up into a smirk. "What the hell are you doing in Ikebukuro again?" He growled. He was pretty sure that every time Izaya came back to 'bukuro, he was there to mess with someone. And he was pretty sure he chased after him every time. Shizuo took the cigarette from his mouth, threw it on the ground, and it smashed it with his shoe, still smirking at his enemy."I hate violence..."

"Oh you know. The usual." Izaya said, grinning. He was sortof holding his ground. "Aww, why can't I come back anymore. I thought you missed me." Izaya said planning his escape if needed so.

Once there, he grabbed the nearest thing to throw- a wooden sign advertising that violence was bad- and stalked back to Izaya. "Heads up, Izaya!' He yelled, chucking the sign at him."I hate violence..."

Izaya barely dodged, but the sign hit his leg. "Damn it." He muttered. 'That hurt like a b***h.' He thought. Izaya sat down leaning against the wall. The sign lying by his side as if saying, 'It wasn't my fault, but I'll keep you company anyway.' Izaya glared at Shizuo, even though he knew his glares meant nothing to him. No, for Shizuo, violence was the answer for everything.

He exclaimed, walking over to Izaya who looked like he'd given up already. Shizuo had many ideas of what to do next, but one stood out in his mind very prominently. No, no, I can't do that... Though I kinda want to see how he would react... He was sure he looked deep in though."I hate violence..."

"Well, now that you've actually got me and I can't do anything. What the hell do you want?" Izaya asked. They've never been in this predicament so Izaya was curious to what would happen next. Izaya slouched against the wall and gripped onto the sign next to him.

“What is life? Why do people live? Someone asked me that, and then I beat him within an inch of his life." Shizuo grinned widely. He was finished with his usual antics. He knew that he had come at Izaya in every possible way, from throwing signs, to throwing cars. And he never got the reaction he wanted from him. He quickly grabbed Izaya's chin and lifted it a little, then leaned his head down and pressed his lips to Izaya's. This oughta get some sort of reaction from him..."I hate violence..."

Izaya's heart nearly lept out of his chest. His eyes widened and then slowly closed. He leaned into the kiss but Izaya couldn't go any further by the way he was sitting. 'What the hell is going on?' Izaya thought. 'Has he reliazed how I feel about him and just toying with my emotions? But nah, that's not like Shizuo-chan.' A million and one thoughts raced restlessly in his mind.

Shizuo grinned as wide as he could. He broke apart and stuck his hands in his pockets. "Just messing with you, Izaya." He said with a laugh, looking at Izaya's blush and knowing he had struck gold.

"Eh? Shizzy-chan! That's not nice." Izaya said, trying to hide his blush before realizing that it was too late. He sighed. "Stop playing with me." Izaya said getting up.

'Why do I even care?' He asked himself as he sat onto the building. He let his legs dangled and kicked them back and forth. 'I could probably jump from here and Shizuo would jump for joy.' Izaya said. 'So, what stops me from actually jumping?' He thought as he looked up into the pitch black sky.

Izaya sat in an empty booth at Simon's place, not eating, just sitting there and thinking. Maybe he was a little too harsh to Izaya that time. It wasn't good to play with someones love life.
