Personality:
Yumemi is the type to stay completely calm if the world is ending, but panics at the thought of a speech in front of strangers. If it’s anything to do with jobs or work, she’ll take the initiative and become a strong and dependable leader. But as soon as it becomes a matter of her social life, she becomes nervous and quiet. She does alright with adults because they talk to her about things she actually cares about, but she finds it difficult to talk with pokémon her own age. Basically, she is what’s known to her peers as ‘a social stud’.
Not many know this, but she can actually be very excitable if you show her something she’s interested in, although this doesn’t happen often because she has no one to share it with. Due to this, she’s actually a very lonely Pokémon because she doesn’t have anyone to relate to. That’s why she cherishes her close relationship with her easy-going partner, Liro. She also doesn't get along well with Water-Pokémon because they get either upset or angry at her because her ability cuts their power in half.

Biography:
Yumemi was, sadly, born to parents who were criminals and were constantly on the run. But even though they were criminals, they loved Yumemi with all their hearts and wanted the best for her. So when she was just 4 years old, they handed themselves in and pleaded that someone with a kind heart could look after her for them. And so, a high ranking Houndoom Explorer and his Partner Absol took her in and changed her name from ‘Miyako’ to ‘Yumemi’. Her parents hoped that one day they can meet their ‘beautiful night child’ (the meaning of the name Miyako) with their names cleared. Yumemi scarcely remembers any of this, except the empty feeling she gets after having her rare dreams of panicked, pleading voices and a child’s cries. Over the years, Absol and Houndoom had made it clear they were not her real parents, but never told her what happened to them.
Because her ‘parents’ are responsible Explorers, she was taught the rules at a young age and quickly became very responsible herself and learned to always think things though. However, this lead to her being uninterested in irresponsible games with other children, and she was quickly isolated from her generation for a long time.
