Yeah, basically all my foreign films are Criterion, have you been to their website? It's awesome!!! I think it's just criterioncollection.com. Let me check though. I'll be editing my list in a second here, remembered a couple that I had forgotten. Yeah that is right. And you can buy practically all of them. They have a HUGE browse section. I would be buying them like crazy if only they weren't like 40 bucks a piece. And that is pretty much the cheapest, I think that MAYBE I saw once or twice something for 29 dollars, but it's 39 and up for the most part. But sooo worth it!

By the way, The Bad Seed is so scary!! Ahhhhh!!! My mother in law first showed it to me and wow! I didn't think a movie like that would turn out to be so evil! In the end, I'm glad that little girl got what was coming to her, the demon spawn!

I actually buy Criterions cheap on eBay and I found Jules and Jim for $18 at TLA Video. Some sell for less than $25, although I really hate those cheap casings. I like Criterions that look like they're something, ie the Brazil edition. A lot of Godard and Kurosawa don't get really nice casings and stuff.

That's true to an extent, The Seven Samurai has a great casing! Jules and Jim do also. But I know what you mean. I like to have a nice booklet and nice casing, but it isn't my only reason for buying Criterion. I buy them for their quality and all the TONS of features they put on their, plus the documentaries. I have something else to add, but I have it in another thread. Let me go get it so I don't have to retype it all, it's pretty cool.

That's cool. I've never heard of the first one, who is in it and who directed it? I am trying to get my husband Band of Outsiders for his birthday.

I'm too poor to buy DVDs.

I'm saving up to move to Europe. So I'm also trying not to buy too much 'stuff'.

But I have quite a DVD collection nonetheless. sweatdrop
